Can I just say that in my years of going to this Wingstop, they have never once messed up my order at all. I have Doordashed and ordered in store and I receive everything I ordered perfectly with no problem or missing items. Additionally, I have ordered Wingstop so many times from this place that I have gotten familiar with the workers and recognize them when I come in and they are all so nice, patient, and good at their job and all seem like really respectful and fun people. Also, the bathrooms are spotless which is surprising for a restaurant that sells spicy food. Lastly, the food is genuinely amazing. This Wingstop is my go-to, and they are truly the best, which is why I am a regular here. My experience with customer service here has been amazing. Always. They never get my order wrong. They never give me cold wings. They never give me dried up pieces of chicken like my local (Riverside) location. My last visit was yesterday. I made an over-the-phone order for pick up, and instead of saying my usual "Louisiana rub," my brain had a hiccup and described the kind of wings I wanted as "Cajun" - which equates to Louisiana for me lol, NOT realizing they have an actual Cajun flavor. It was 100% my fault when I got home with my order and it was definitely not my usual favorite. I called the shop to ask if I had picked up the wrong order, and that's when I found out my mistake. They put me on hold and talked to their manager to see if there was any way I could remedy this, and they came back on the line to say they'd make me an order of Louisiana rub to replace the ones I ordered by accident. I love this location. There service is always spot on! They're incredibly consistent answering the phones and showing exemplary service. I've never been disappointed with the wings, either. Today, I phoned in an order with Daphne and I ordered 10 boneless 1/2 Brazilian citrus 1/2 mango habanero. I got back to work and my ranch wasn't there. However, a few minutes later, Daphne calls me and said there was miscommunication with my order and wanted to ensure everything was there. Today, with a pick up @ this specific wing stop, the customer service provided was borderline rude on 2-3 occasions. We requested for the food to be walked out (nicely) for a specific reason and received some attitude along with (about a minutes worth) of conversation about how it's not apart of procedure. The server ended up rudely hanging the call twice; first time being the initial request for the order to be walked out. Second time was when they called back asking for the name it was placed under and hung up mid conversation. The server came out, grabbed the card and walked away. Came back and didn't say anything. Not the worst customer service, but nowhere near hospitable. So I like ordering the bone-in wings and I like them extra crispy. I found that the times I use the app to order, my wings aren't as crispy. I recently started coming to this location in SC since it's the closest one to our new home and almost every time my bf and I go they mess up our order. Not only that but the last few times we went, my boyfriend and I got a very bad stomach ache. We had a long day from Lego Land and on our way back home my wife craved Wing Stop. Quickly put in our GPS and 800 Avenida Pico, San Clemente was the closest one. As we went in, we were greeted by the staff with genuine smile and energetic welcome. While deciding what to order, their computer seemed to have stop and could not take any order. Staff quickly alerted us that they don't know how long the problem would last and was very apologetic on the circumstance. She told us thank for waiting and our order was on the house. We were flabbergasted that we could finally order but to have it for free was the icing on the cake. If you love wings, this is the place for you. I've lived in San Clemente to for about two years and had yet to find a decent place for wings. I had tried Buffalo Wild Wing in Mission, but the service and prices are horrible. This wingstop is conveniently located in a Albertsons shopping center with many other food joints close by. The scenery consists of old style aviation pictures and objects. There is a patio with several chairs and tables as well as seating inside. You'll also find a few flat screens showing sports games. I visited on opening day at around 6 and found a decent amount of people waiting for orders and in line. Food was brought out very quickly and was the quality I expected from wingstop. The prices are fair and the staff is VERY friendly. The menu is true to wings with 4 different wing options, bone-in, boneless, strips, and gliders, with 10 different flavors. There are many combos priced fairly, ranging from individual combos to family packs. The fries are notably delicious. They also have beans, cole slaw, and veggie sticks to compliment any order of wings. My personal favorite is their lemon pepper and cajun flavors. If you love wings, this is the place for you. Next, the order took 25 minutes to get out, and by the time I got it my fries were cold. About the flavors. The lemon pepper is ONLY for dedicated lemon pepper enthusiasts. I love lemon pepper on any chicken but the amount of seasoning on these wings is just outrageous and made anymore than 3 inedible. The BBQ was nothing special either. I swear its just KC Masterpiece and once again, by the time I got them they were cold. Boneless wings are generally not as good as bone in wings but I felt like I was eating McDonald's chicken tenders. Do NOT get boneless if your a wing freak like me, it will ruin your evening. I wasn't the only one with problems; out of the 10 people in there, 5 of us had problems with our orders and the employees seemed to be running around like chickens with their heads cut off. So... Not the greatest wing place, or even top 20. I might go back in a few months if they have their affairs on order but highly doubt it.
