Nice small arcade to keep the kiddos and Dads busy, amd 2 counter bars. Order at the counter, your name is called, pick up your own food and full your own drinks. A chaotic rhis evening but overall a good experience. A very nice lady and son let us have their table. It can get very loud in there. Service is great. Pizzas wings and mozzarella sticks were a solid 8.5. Pizza is loaded with toppings, not too saucy or salty, freshly made. We will definitely try this place again in a not so busy evening or get it to go. Price on point for the amount of food we ordered.

We have visited Pizza Port multiple times, and the pizza is consistently excellent. However, today…read morewe were quite taken aback by the service. While we were still enjoying our meal and had half a pint of beer left, an employee approached our table without any prior notice and discarded our pizza tray, which still contained two slices covered by a plate. I had intended to take those slices home for my daughter. The whole incident occurred so quickly (we were in the middle of a conversation) that by the time we realized what had happened, it was too late. When we expressed our disappointment, the employee merely suggested we could get another pizza downstairs and walked away without offering an apology. While I understand it was just two slices, I had already told my daughter that I would be bringing some pizza home. I could have ordered another pizza, but the wait time was too long. Additionally, we noticed that two glasses of beer and napkins from previous customers remained on the table for the entire time we were there. It raises the question of why those items weren't taken instead of our pizza. As a suggestion, I recommend requesting the pizza to go. That way, it comes in a box and is less likely to get tossed.

We found ourselves stopping by Wingstop located at Gateway Village Plaza. I love their Hot Honey Rub (HHR) flavor! So very addicting at every bite. This dry rub is a combination of honey, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, and ground mustard. Now you know why it is SO GOOD... sweet and spicy all in one! We walked in to order the wings. Ambiance was nice with colorful tables. Both restrooms are right in the same space as the dining area which I find odd. The gentleman who took our order was pleasant and accommodating. Thank you sir! I asked if they still have the 20 wings for $20. They sure did. One 20 for $20 please! I was allowed 3 different flavors, but I wanted all of them in HHR. I have tried their other flavors and nothing compares to their HHR. I am salivating as I'm typing right now LOL. Wait time was about 20+ minutes. They were super busy with walk-in and online orders so it was understandable. They did their best to get the orders out as quickly as possible. Thank you Wingstop! The wings were super hot and delicious. No compliants on the goods. However, I had 3 small gripes. Gripe #1... all 20 wings were placed in one tight box.... they could have separated 10 wings in one small box and another 10 wings in another small box. Gripe #2... there were too many drumettes and not enough wingettes (aka flats). I prefer more of the latter than the former. Gripe #3... some of the drumettes had open parts from the bone to the outside. I prefer my drumettes in fuller form. Hence, 4 stars! We will come back for more HHR wings the next time we're in San Clemente! Don't ever get rid of your HHR!! It's a flavor for life!!!

Just very very casual and not totally comfortable. Food- 3.4/4 out of 5 - I got the Luau plate and LOVED the chicken!! Everyone else was right- that chicken thigh deserves its own plate. I also really enjoyed the coconut pudding/jello thing that came with it and the sausage link. The pulled pork was just okay, not very well seasoned but not bad. The side of "dressed greens" was just some lettuce without dressing on it, and I thought the macaroni salad was fine. The last thing that really disappointed me were the sautéed veggies :/ they were just soo oily and had no seasoning to them at all. I didn't eat any of them or the un-dressed 'salad'. My husband got the chicken katsu plate, he said the chicken katsu was fine but the fries on the side were cold and not crispy, they were kind of chalky in the mouth and didn't taste fresh. Some parts were definitely a 3/5 but my chicken thigh was so good and the portions are *huge* so I feel like they deserve a 4/5? All in all, I think I'd come back if I wanted to go out with someone but save some money and we'd split one of the plates (the portions really are huge).

Pros: This place has a really good overall vibe half restaurant, half bar which makes it feel more like a night-out spot than just a pizza place. The atmosphere was fun and energetic, especially with live music starting around 7pm on the Saturday I went. Staff were friendly, and the bar side added a nice social element if you're just hanging out with drinks. The pizza itself is a Detroit-style deep dish, and I got the pepperoni with hot honey. The quality was solid cheesy, thick, and filling but a bit more oily than expected. Still, the flavor was good and it felt like a heavy, satisfying meal. The beer selection was also good and paired well with the food. Parking is actually a strong plus here. There's a dedicated lot for customers that's free, which makes things easy if you're able to get a spot. Cons: The biggest downside is the menu structure--you have to order full pizzas only, with no slices or half-and-half options. That makes it harder to try multiple flavors. I wanted to try the mushroom truffle pizza but couldn't without committing to a full pie. Price is also on the higher side at around $26 for four pieces. Verdict: Overall a really solid spot with great vibes, good drinks, and quality pizza. I'd definitely come back, especially to try the mushroom truffle pizza next time.
