Ordered 3 subs ahead on the app today in the afternoon, and not only were the toppings minimal, but one of them was no mayonnaise. Unorganized for a simple request, limited staffing, and improvements can definitely be made at this location. A sandwich shouldn't be that hard to do. read more

They are turned me away a Thursday afternoon at about 2pm, saying they were too busy and couldn't take my order, even though I was the only customer in the store. Will not be returning. read more

Thank you for amazing service and making my experience that much better I'll definitely be back

I've been to a lot of Subway locations, but this one stands out. The store is always clean, the ingredients are fresh, and the team behind the counter truly cares. I came in during the lunch rush and was impressed with how quickly the line moved without sacrificing quality. The sandwich artist (yes, they've earned the title!) took the time to ask if I wanted my veggies layered or mixed, gave me the perfect amount of sauces, and wrapped it up neatly--no soggy mess when I opened it. The bread was warm and soft, and everything tasted like it was just prepped. Bonus points for the friendly service. You can tell the staff here enjoy what they do. They even remembered my usual order on my second visit. That kind of attention goes a long way! If you're in the area and craving something healthy and quick, this Subway is absolutely worth th stop read more

This is just like any other Subway. ITS NOT THE RITZ CARLTON. We've become a society of whiners and it's pathetic. People need to open their own business, see what it takes to survive in a business in this kiss-ass environment that 44 created. If I want to close early, I will. The online/ coddled generation needs a good swift kick in the pants. read more

New owner is amazing, sandwich is great, great deal of the day menu that's very affordable, definitely the best experience I've had in a. Subway in a long time. Very clean inside too and the service was great read more

Don't get a chip and drink from here. The drink machine doesn't dispense enough syrup. Chips are less than an ounce. Not worth $3.59. There is a Circle K nearby. Also, sandwiches are more bread than filling. So, I only come here for only deals. read more

All Subways are not created equal and this one stands out as one of the best. The veggies and bread are always fresh and Allison and Augustine are always so friendly and helpful. I love going to this location. I've been countless times and have never had a negative experience. Allison has been the owner for an about a year now and has had an extremely positive impact on the business. You won't be sorry. Enjoy your lunch :) read more

Great service! Love the new Pepsi fountain! Super clean and quick. It's really nice to sit on the patio they have.

I came in for a quick lunch break, despite the long line, the wait was worthwhile. The service was fast. The lettuce and tomato was fresh. The staff was friendly and welcoming! :) read more

Amazing location fast and fresh... Shootout to the guy with the glasses.Whos only attention is to make a perfect sandwiches!

Website shows open till 9:30 but closed at 8:00 ( Sunday) ordered online and paid. Their comment," you ordered but didn't pick it up so we threw it away" no refund. UPDATE: Owner Mark called before I could get in the door at home. Very congenial and respectful. Took my address to make it right. Honestly my daughter had ordered online not knowing they would be ready in 15 minutes. She arrived hours later to pick them up. Our bad, not Subways. read more

I love Subway. I was a supervisor at one of the nicer ones for longer than I care to admit. But basicly the food is the same for the most part at all Subway stores. Some stores more generous than others and except for the freshness of the bread it's basicly all the same really good sammies. I ran one I consider to be one of the cleaner ones. Consistently. Apparently so did the health department. I took pride in how clean mine was. Yay me! Then one afternoon on Saturday Dec 12, 2020 I walked into this one . I swear the 'God's Of Cleanliness and Picture Perfect Presentation' sent down their angels as the trumets played and angels sung. This place was right out of an advertisement. Even the tomatoes looked ad campaign perfect. Who finds food that beautiful in the real world? Not me, that's for sure. You literally could have eaten off the floor and germs wouldn't be an issue in the least . Too clean. I felt I should have taken off my shoes before entering. The food was great but thats to be expected. The little Spanish lady who spoke broken English was great too. But like I gushed already, the CLEANLINESS and PRESENTATION were outstanding! Corporate should take notice and use this store as the example of how ALL stores should be. Just sayin'. read more

Everytime I come here my sandwich's are pretty skimpy. Cheap owner I guess. Today I came on for sliders but the rude young man who looked like. The Lead guy was rude and would not even put oil and vinegar on my sliders or lettuce instead of spinach wow. I've eaten in many subways and never had this problem now I have a sandwich I don't even want and a rude attitude to go with it. Screw this place I'll never spend one more penny here. This place is sparking clean. I usually go to the subways in Irvine and this place definitely seemed more premium by how clean and well maintained. Jonathan and Yasmin were both great and made our experience much better. Thank you read more

I love everything about this store: it's location, the parking opportunities, the gleaming cleanliness of the store and the cheerful staff. Subway has been making changes to their menus by introducing a preset menu option wherein the sandwiches haven't disappointed. The #4 is a meat forward Italian sub, I don't change or modify a thing and I've found my current new fixation meal. The patio seating option is also a a huge benefit to this location. I was at the Dana Point Car and Motorcycle show, all along Del Prado Avenue, when I realized the convenience and vantage point the subway seating could provide. Highly suggest a stop in to this Subway! read more

This is a great subway! Clean and fresh, and yummy cookies! Helpful staff too, my daughter enjoyed!

Delicious sandwiches and fast friendly service. The staff was good. And the store was very clean.

Great customer service and nice workers. I had a coupon and they honored it nicely was really satisfied

I went in to order my sandwich. I asked for a 6 inch cold cut combo, the lady put a thin layer of Bologna, when I told her that it had other ingredients too, she snapped at me and said very upset voice, no this is it. Great Subway. Probably the freshest ingredients I've seen at a Subway in a really long time. Very clean

This Subway is on the PCH in beautiful Dana Point. It's on the side of the road up a slight hill, with a large parking lot. The staff is not very attentive. I came in and asked for a turkey and ham on wheat, no cheese, no mayo, but add everything else. I was thinking, this is a good cheap snack like meal while I am driving between LA and San Diego, not too filling to make me sleepy, and it only cost $3.89 (for a six inch) Then I went to the bathroom to clean up before eating. When I returned, the girl asked if I wanted the "make it a meal" deal, which is adding a bag of chips and medium drink. I said yes, as she already had the sandwich made and in the bag. I get my chip and drink, paid$8.38 (thinking why is this so much?) But I was in a hurry to hit the road, so I left and started out. I look inside the bag, and it is a foot long sandwich, on wheat, with mustard, and nothing else. NO lettuce, onions, olives, dressing sauce, peppers, salt or pepper. What would Jared do? Next time, I will need to get more clearly to the point, in Dana Point. read more

Worst Subway I have ever been to. Rude employees and terrible customer service. The guy helping me by the name Manuel was an atrocity in the customer service department. I asked for a sandwich a specific way and he made it his way throwing in tons of pickles. I hate pickles! When advised that my order was incorrect he shrugged and said "oh well"! I spent 10.91 on a steak and cheese sandwich that went right in the trash because this employee couldn't or didn't care to do his job right. Hey Manuel if you hate your job so much then quit. No need to continue making your life and others lives miserable. I have already called Subway corporate to express my frustration and i will continue to call until they get rid of that clown and make things right. read more

What is it with all the primadonnas giving this establishment 1 star for ridiculous reasons? You're utilization of the first amendment here on Yelp only broadcasts your doltishness to the world! "I went to the bathroom while she made my sandwich and it was wrong when I got home." DUDE, TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LIFE! Watch her make the sandwich if you want it done right. "The music was too loud." UH, ASK THEM TO TURN IT DOWN MAYBE? "The line was too long." EVER THOUGHT OF TAKING AN EARLY OR LATE LUNCH IF YOU DON'T LIKE CROWDS? "The Pastrami sandwich wasn't stuffed with meat and oozing cheese like the commercial." PAY FOR DOUBLE MEAT, YOU CHEAP BASTARD, OR GO TO THE STORE AND MAKE YOUR OWN DAMN TV SANDWICH MODEL. The location is remodeled and clean, the bathroom is checked regularly and open to customers. The staff doesn't cop attitude, and the ingredients all appear to be fresh. Went here to get the Pastrami Melt after seeing the delicious presentation during Sunday football. The meat and cheese are bursting out of the bun, the pickles peeking out from under the mound of pastrami. I told them I wanted it just like the picture. They kept asking "you want onions? You want lettuce? No i want it like the picture Got the sandwich home, unwrapped it and it looked like an empty bun. No Pastrami bursting out, no melting cheese oozing down the bread. Had to open it to make sure they didn't give me the empty side of the bun. Never never again. Never have the words "you get what you pay for" rang so true. read more

Walked in to purchase 8 sandwiches and requested to have it put on a platter and was told I had to order 24 hours in advance to have them placed on the platter. Avoid this Subway, if possible. Music is loud and you cannot hear what they are asking, and in the off chance that you can hear them you have to shout over the other people who are also shouting out their orders!! Bread is stale, lettuce is yellow. The ambiance is nice, but that's all they got going for them. There is another local Subway on Del Obispo & Stonehill. Brand new, just opened. Friendly staff, low volume on the music. Fresh bread and crisp, green lettuce. read more

Just ordered at this subway and they charge for everything, the girl helping me has an attitude because I am asking for extra on my sandwich...like if it's coming out of her wallet...make it the way I want it...I am the customer so just make it my way. I wasn't asking for much! read more

I went in yesterday (7/21/18) around 1:45 to get a small veggie delight. I was not greeted, 3 young men behind the sandwich counter, not trained on service or being friendly(blame is on the owner). Note to the owner: Young staff have to be trained, since they don't have any experience. The owner(I assume) was on her break. When it came to the cash register the young man who took my money flipped my sandwich with his hands(no gloves) to see if there was avocado(this is absolutely a no...no...), felt very uncomfortable, grossed, not going here again. read more

First time at this Subway and the food was not fresh. I went at about 10:30am so it is normal (although not ideal) for the bread to be from the day before (which was obvious by the taste). However I inquired about the cookies. There were only a handful of cookies in the display which led me to believe they were from the day before. I asked if they were baked fresh today and was told "yes". I didn't really believe them, but got the cookies anyway and they were in fact old. Piece of advice to owner: people like fresh food. You use the word "fresh" in your advertising, yet the bread and cookies were not fresh. I understand the bread takes a while to be ready, but cookies come out of a box in your freezer and are baked and ready to go in probably 10-12 minutes. Piece of advice # 2: Don't lie to your customers. My other complaint about Subway is how they have reduced the amount of meat on a sandwich. This happened a while ago and this is not specific to this particular Subway, but all of them. I used to work at a Subway in college and still remember how much meat we used on each sandwich, and it's definitely gone down. Sandwiches are really bready now. read more
