Cajun Fried Corn
Courtny D.

LOL I love wingstop (their ranch is ELITE) but they messed our Uber Eats delivery order biiiig time: Although they got our order of: Chicken Sandwich, lemon pepper wings, louisiana voodoo fries, and cajun fried corn right, the other wing flavors we ordered which were of the korean bbq wings, hot honey rub wings, the meltdown wings, and crunch time wings were actually ALL instead lemon pepper?? Hahah I mean we love lemon pepper so we didn't mind that much but still My partner and I still loved our meal but yeah, lol. Anyways tasty cajun corn tip: dip the corn in their delicious ranch. TRUST US. SO GOOD.

Spicy Korean Chicken Sandwich
Pancho V.

Wingstop wants to compete in the chicken sandwich wars, and came out with a chicken sandwich that is a lot like the others in the chicken sandwich wars, but with a big difference, the sandwich is available in 11 different flavors or Plain. Flavored by sauces or dry rubs that range from low-heat Lemon Pepper to high-heat Atomic. All the sandwiches are made with toasted buns and topped with pickle chips. I think it's the best Chicken Sandwich in the FF Chicken Sandwich game. Unfortunately, it was only around a week or two until - Thanks to all the love from our fans, the new Chicken Sandwich is sold out nationwide but don't worry, we're working hard to bring it back soon. I can make so many comments on this but they have so many other issues. Spicy Korean ($5.49) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/wingstop-pasadena-3?select=pACdUauhf83pm89mrOPqqg Ginger, garlic, sriracha, and crushed red pepper create the perfect balance of sweet and spicy https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/wingstop-pasadena-3?select=NuMg6HR7Q74rEtIHstUqNg not much spiciness but great sweet/heat flavor. 5-Stars Louisiana Rub ($5.49) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/wingstop-pasadena-3?select=OciWkQksxXOTohI-hVYDCw A crispy, spiced dry rub, with a distinctly Cajun drawl. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/wingstop-pasadena-3?select=y0ExfwtSvjYsHWOXFcu2dA nice dry-rub with a little heat and great flavor, really nice size piece of Chicken nicely fried. 5-Stars Fries https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/wingstop-pasadena-3?select=lIuZ8jBPehiVB5nut5jFDg nicely fried and seasoned. 5 Star food, 3 Star review what gives? It was one of those 105+ degree days, maybe it was just too HOT? but the lady taking the order really gave the attitude like she didn't want to be there I won't go into further detail on that. They have one of those "Freestyle Coke" Machines that give you 100+ flavor choices, well it seemed like half of the choices were NOT available, another think that was NOT available on the 105+ Degree Day was ICE, the Machine had NO ICE!! I understand things can happen, but it's how you react to situations, how about send someone to the store and buy some ice for your paying customers. Food took just under an HOUR and all I have to bide time is a warm soda! It was entertaining to listen to EVERY customer who came to pick up orders complain how the order was not ready on time and NO ICE, I think some of them were "Uber-Eats" or similar delivery drivers.

Do they accept ebt?

I just called the Wingstop in Pico Rivera on Rosemead Blvd and I was told they didn't accept EBT. Oh well guess Speedway will be getting my business from now on!

Do they serve halal meat?

Unfortunately we do not.

I highly recommend it as well as the fry. It's not overly seasoned yet has the right amount of subtlety in the potatus. 11/10, I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the area!

The good: The people working at the counter were very friendly and welcoming. We took a while to order, and they were patient and courteous. They gave our kids free little light up chick toys that they absolutely loved and kept them entertained while we waited for our food! The bad: - The reason it took us so long to order was because they were seemingly out of half of their menu items. Everything we wanted to order was out of stock, so we settled on boneless chicken with fries and chicken gyoza - Something very important to note is that they primarily serve dark meat for the boneless chicken. Dark meat can have a pink/red color even when fully cooked. We had several pieces that looked so red that we didn't feel comfortable eating them because it just looked unappetizing how red it was and I didn't feel fully certain it was cooked because I don't carry around a food thermometer lol. But no one in our party got sick, so I assume it was cooked? I honestly don't know. -When we arrived, they were playing very loud, very explicit hip hop. I love hip hop myself and it would have been fine if our kids weren't with us, but with kids it was just kinda weird to be listening to very explicit lyrics at 10 AM lol. It wasn't just normal hip hop, it was like the extra explicit cut of some SoundCloud rapper. Eventually they changed it to very loud country music. Just weird vibes either way

I only ever order takeout from this location and there's definitely things that could be improved. The location is on busy Colorado so parking is a nightmare. The workers here have absolutely no sense of urgency. Often I've been the only customer picking up and the speed of service could only be described as "meandering" to find and hand me my order. As previously mentioned, there's no issue with the food. It's juicy and flavorful. But there's inconsistencies like sometimes I get the side radish and utensils but other times not at all. The attitude of the workers you interact with are that of someone who has absolutely no pride in their work and are simply tolerating customers. It would go a long way to improve this location if workers were trained to do everything as efficiently and quickly as possible. The cost is also astronomically high for chicken. A whole chicken is $31 before any taxes or fees. It's not competitive with other Korean fried chicken places and you have to imagine part of the cost is due to the location. I would be sad if this branch closed, since it is closest to where I live, but it wouldn't be a shock that it did close. There's a lot of low hanging easy changes that could be made. Better training from management, more local deals, and focusing on customer service.

On the screen it says "food takes 25-30min" I waited 50 min... There were at least 4 people waiting for their orders. Whenever one of us tried to talk to the server and as they were approaching, I could tell she was going to somewhere else like to the kitchen and intentionally tried not to give the eye contact with customers. The customer is next to you how can you not look at them...lol After almost an hour I got my food only to find that pickled radish was spoiled. Luckily I added an extra so it saved me. When I took out the container it was already full of gas and about to explode. When I opened it, smelled horrible like raw food left in the garbage disposal for weeks. (You can see how cloudy the juice is from the picture) Over all, I understand that this location has the worst review among other bb.q chicken in SGV, I'd choose other place next time. Food was good so 3 stars for that.

Fair prices, large portion sizes, and fresh tasty food. Seating: both indoor and outdoor Parking: small parking lot outside, free Takeout: available, many people were picking up phone orders Here's what we ordered: Pollo Saltado: Tender boneless chicken breast fit perfectly with the stir fry. The rice was accented perfectly with the flavorful broth. Chicken combo: The chicken skin had a nice crunch, while the meat was juicy and tender. I chose rice and fried plantains for sides. The plantains were golden brown, with a rich flavor.

This is definitely a must place to go if you're looking for excellent food with kind service.

We ordered the honey garlic chicken, seafood pancake, tteokbokki, and corn cheese. For 4 people this was a good amount of food. First off the honey garlic chicken was AMAZING. the chicken was super juicy and crispy and the honey made the fried skin taste like a biscuit. It was actually insane, I would come back here just for the chicken, 10/10. The seafood pancake was also amazing. It was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It had lots of shrimp and squid, and dipped in the sauce it was delicious, 10/10. I'd say both the corn cheese and tteokbokki were not super worth it. The tteokbokki was relatively small, given the price. And it was quite spicy, a little too spicy for me. The corn cheese tasted like butane gas, or how a birthday candle smells, so it was just alright. Both were a 5/10. I would definitely come back again to try more food!

It honestly broke my heart. The man who I assume was the owner always seemed to be running the place himself. He was a true one-man show, and somehow still managed to make the best wings I've ever had. I'm not exaggerating when I say I'd buy those wings out of someone's backyard if he was still making them. They were that good. Bambino's was one of Pasadena's hidden gems. I genuinely think more people would have fallen in love with it if it had been in a busier, more visible location. The food deserved so much more recognition. I'm really hoping this isn't the end of Bambino's.
