Recently I have the biggest craving for fries, and I didn't want any ordinary fries. I wanted those freshly cut, fried, tossed, and served to you. OF course, In-and-Out burger came to mind, but on a Friday and at Noon, parking and the wait would be RIDICULOUS. And McDonalds wouldn't cut it for me (and I've been McD-free for almost 4 years!). Wing Stop was so close to home, why not? I ordered a regular side of fries for $1.99 ($2.17 with tax) and waited 5 minutes. It was definitely worth its value for the portion size. AND I love the idea that they semi-wrapped the fries with that liner so it doesn't fall over the bag. The only thing I didn't like was that it was SUPER peppery. I'm sure it was just one of those multitasking moments from the workers. But it's ok, I'll give you another chance next time. :) read more

The long wait for me has finally come! The first and only time I had wingstop was across the bay after a Golden state warriors game. Just from that experience alone made me hope that a closer one would pop up somewhere, and lo and behold, one in Millbrae opens! I just had to go there. Came here for lunch with some of my co-workers. The place is clean and looks much like the other Wingstops, although a bit bigger than the one I previously went to. My co-workers and I ordered online to make things easier and have a time for pick up. Everything was paid for online and made it a breeze to get our food. Just had to show the credit card we paid with and about 5 min later all our food came out! I admit the place was fairly empty but the service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the 10 boneless chicken and tried both the cajun and lemon pepper sauces. Both are AMAZING! The cajun sauce is full of flavor and you can taste every spice in it. not really as spicy as I'd hoped it would be, but tasty nonetheless. The lemon pepper is much lighter than the cajun if you're looking for that. Although light, you can definitely taste the lemon and made it very enjoyable to eat. However, one thing I'd like to add is that the lemon pepper seemed inappropriate for the heavily breaded boneless chicken. The sauce is there, but the thickness of the breading seemed to mask some of it. Last thing, the soda machine is AWESOME! You can mix multiple syrups into a soda (Ever wondered what a grape coke would taste like?) Kept me at the machine for a few minutes just trying out different flavors. I love the sugar and salt coated French fries with ranch dressing! I specifically like the the limp ones. Ssssssoooo good! The wings are ok especially when there's a big meaty one. All the wings here come out super saucy so if your a big fan of saucy things then you'll like these. The BBQ is my favorite after dappling in the other flavors but they have like 12 flavors to choose from including lemon pepper, teriyaki, garlic Parmesan, and the list goes on. The fries were great! The teriyaki and Hawaiian wings were delicious! The place is not very busy as other wingstop I've been to. I got my order pretty quick and everything was so tasty, even the beverage selections were impressive: four different types of tea!! The staff was very friendly too. I usually add the veggie sticks to my meal and cost $.99 but they raised the price to $2.49 over the last month and I think that's a pretty steep increase. Had an opportunity to visit this location tonight with my son. (he lives around the corner) In comparison to the other WS I have been to, this felt like a 5-Star restaurant. The workers were nice and friendly. The restaurant was CLEAN and tidy and it was double the size of the ones I have been to in the East Bay. My son decided that we should eat in because the NBA was showing on the tv's. I had a chance to speak with the supervisor on duty. He was gracious when I complimented him. An added bonus was they have that super-duper Coke (soda) machine..so many choices and so little time. read more

I have never been to a wing stop before but was curious as my co workers always said such great things about the one in San Carlos. Well....People stay away! I wanted to really like you wing stop, working in millbrae I'm tired of the same old stuff to eat so i was excited when u opened. I had the 8pc boneless wing combo in teryaki with blue cheese dipping sauce. there was no teryaki taste whats so ever and they were so salty that here two days later my tongue still aches and I'm still drinking a ton of water, I even had a co worker try them and he looked at me and said they were gross and he eats everything and anything. i ate two of them and threw it away I'm glad i did as you will read why next. My other co worker had the lemon pepper wings and he liked the flavor as did another worker, I didn't try them. BUT within one hour he was scrambling to find a restroom cause he was violently ill. He was ill with diarrhea and vomiting the rest of the day, all night and called in sick for work the next day as he was still ill. It's now two days later and he still hasn't fully recovered. The only bright spot of the whole ordeal is they have the coolest drink machine I've ever seen, they have every type and flavor of drink available including all of the fanta ones. So, as i said i really wanted to like you but it is in excusable to dish out food poisoning on your first week and you food is way too salty You guys better shape up fast before you kill somebody. read more

This is one of the better Wingstop locations as far as service goes. I work at the americas tire right next door from them so once a month I'll come here to grab some wings for lunch. Everyone who I've met are extremely friendly and make you feel comfortable. A lot of other locations have some pretty bad service but this location is an exception. First time trying Wingstop. During covid-19.. a little hesitant to eat take out food. Wanted to try since co-workers had talked about the boneless wing special. Online you can order a 10 piece or 15 piece only. Not sure if that's the same in store or not. You can pay in store or online. You can only pick 2 flavors. Tried the lemon pepper and the Hawaiian. Also ordered some bbq wings and some boneless Korean flavored ones. The bbq was tasty. The Korean is very spicy for someone who doesn't eat spicy but it was tasty as well. The Hawaiian was sweet and tangy. The lemon pepper was a very strong lemon flavor. We liked the ones with sauce flavors more than the lemon pepper. The chicken was moist which is good. $16 for 15 piece boneless, 1 order of extra boneless I think of 5 pieces, and a order of just regular wings. A little on the pricey side but it's tasty for a snack. Only other thing that was bothersome at this location is during covid-19, the person at the register was not wearing any gloves at all. That was worrisome for me since every grocery store and fast food take out I have been to, everyone has been wearing gloves for safety practices. I always hate reviewing chain restaurants. Why? Well it's usually pretty consistent across the board from restaurant to restaurant. If you been to one Wingstop, you pretty much been to them all. There is always the rare occurance of having a bad experience or something being off, but like I said, rare. So what does that mean for Wingstops? Decent wings bone in or boneless wings with OK sauce/rub selection. My go to is usually half bone in original hot and boneless louisana dry rub. For some reason I just prefer the dry rubs on the boneless. Prices are OK. I know wings are cheap, but for the quality sometimes i feel like its pricey at least when getting a meal. 10 piece with fries and drink starts getting around $13-14 read more

I have had Wingstop in the past but this location delivered great service, fresh food, and a comfortable dining area. The cashier was very efficient in helping us select a valuable meal and when our food arrived the real adventure began. Hot, delicious wings were ready within a matter of 10 minutes and the flavors of lemon pepper and cajun spice were ours! I really enjoyed the lemon pepper, they were perfect and unlike any that I've had at other locations. The fries paired with buttermilk ranch was mind blowing. We also had a side of carrots and celery. Everything was great. My hubby dared to try a pineapple glazed flavor that didn't taste good based on preference. Love the Wingstop bone-in wings. Lots of flavor selections to choose from. The carrot as a side is a great healthy alternative to balance out the less healthy wings. It just means living a few hours longer when you get he carrots instead of fries. This place is clean and well maintained. Staff has always been friendly and professional. Does a great job of telling you how long your wait will be if you walk in and order. Plenty of flavor options, opted for my favorite, the Louisiana Rub where you get a crispy exterior thanks to the seasonings plus spices and a juicy interior = SCORE and NO pool of oil (vs other Wing Stops)! Tried Cajun but a bit too hot for my taste; had BBQ, lemon pepper & mild in the past which are good/solid picks. There are glider (slider) type sandwiches, traditional wings, along with sides to pick from the menu as well. The cashier was very nice when I came in and as promised within a 10 minute span, order ready. As I waited, there was the cool Coca-Cola next generation, touch screen soda machine where you can mix and match sodas and flavors = WHOA! Want to play mad scientist anyone? BIG Negative... limp fries! Yes they were free but it is the principle! So saggy like a wet noodle that ketchup would not cling to the fry, just bend it! After working out close by at 24 you know you need some protein, wing stop is there for you. Only a hop, skip, and a step away. open till 12AM you know you can't fight those urges. This is my favorite Wingstop! I come here for more than just wings- I come here to listen to their bomb ass EDM playlist and use their clean ass restrooms!! Seriously though, I am a frequent visitor of San Mateo and SSF Wingstops and this locations is my favorite. They actually make the wings when you call in(instead of making you wait hella long), play great music, play different sports when they're on, and clean the restaurant(restroom included). Mm, Wingstop. Wingstop is a lovely addition to Millbrae, with an added benefit of being open until midnight. This is perfect for my late night fried chicken cravings. Wingstop's various flavored wings, while not revolutionary in taste, are all pretty good. The real revolution, though, lies in their amazing soda machine, that features a touch screen where you can pick your soda and even add other flavors. Example: I chose diet coke and had options of diet coke, diet coke with vanilla, diet cherry coke, diet coke with lime, etc. So I had diet coke and blended it a little bit with diet coke with vanilla. 'Tis an art. Yes, fatties across the Peninsula rejoice. (It is also next to McDonald's and you can enter through their parking lot in the back to avoid taking El Camino if needed) Their customer service is great too. They're attentive and quite friendly. I easily ordered my wings online for pickup (it's the future, dawg) and the employee made up for the wait by offering me a free drink. Open tables provide the option of a quick eat-in, though being from Millbrae I prefer to remain incognito, hence my ninja-like online ordering SWOOP. It is a clean restaurant that for some reason has an "Airforce Adventure" theme, who knows why. I guess that's the idea of "Wing" stop, but I do not find that that clever. Try harder. Well kept place. Friendly staff. Never too crowded or too busy. Two big screen TV's. Wings made to order. Wings take about 10-15 minutes to be ready, so if you're in a hurry and going to order take out, place a phone order ahead of time. This is my go to place to chill with friends when craving wings and a beer. I usually get my fries on the crispy side. Their fries are sweet and salty. Great balance for my taste buds. It was about 15-25 minutes before they close and they were all still very nice, and wasn't like... forcing people to leave?
