There's always something wrong. As much as I want to like this Wingstop location and I always give them a 2nd chance, there is always 1 or 2 small details off with my order. I think today was finally the last straw. Today's issue: to-go order was not ready on time (over 10mins late), they gave my the wrong sauce (honey mustard instead of ranch), and fries were extremely soggy instead of *well done* as ordered. Best wings here at Millbrae Wing Stop they were cooked perfectly, not dried out like Westlake Wing Stop. They were very tender, I had a 10 piece lemon pepper bone in and my husband had the 10 piece combo habanero that were delicious as well. Finally! A Wingstop near my work. Decided to do a takeout today for lunch. So, I'm not sure how long they take to make the wings because we ordered online hours in advance. We went to pick it up a few min before our pick up time, and it was ready to be packed! I ordered the cajun wings and they're just as good as the other wingstop near my house, except the lack of seasoning powder, sorta sad, but the wings still taste just as good. I know other cities adds tons of the powder, mmm. I also ordered a side of fries and they gave hella! Packed to the top. Perfectly seasoned and well cooked fries. MMM. The ranch goes great with cajun wings and fries. The soda machine is pretty cool. Great customer service. Attentive staff that asked us if we needed anything while we ate there. Staff not compliant with basic hygiene during pandemic. Person who was packing my order first touched my credit card, register etc then didn't wash hand, didn't sanitize and went on to pack my order. Also he was not wearing a mask. Basically i went home with my order and microwaved it (virus ain't heat resistance). Basically foot tasted like crap afterwards- not sure how it tasted before. Never been to Wingstop before and will not come back. Also will write email to complain and will consider calling the city of Millbrae. Ive always been a fan of Wingstop. As chains go I think if order the right thing, it totally hits that spot. The Louisiana rub and Lemon Pepper are my dependables in this arena. This is my favorite Wingstop location! The interior is clean, there is a small lot for parking, and the employees are pretty friendly. If you order online, they are pretty good at meeting their quoted pickup time. What makes this location the best is that their wings are cooked and flavored to perfection, and their meat is plentiful and juicy compared to other Wingstop locations. The carefree, under-21 set that frequents Wing Stop at 11:30pm on a Saturday night makes me feel like an old, washed up 80's baby. Zero complaints about service or restaurant's cleanliness. Our meal was delivered within the nine-minutes quoted by our cashier (kind of cool to know when to expect your grub!) The staff were quick to attend to my 'cup for water' & 'to-go bag' requests. We shared: -- 6 rolls for $2.49: oops, way too many for 2 people, hence the to-go bag. Delivered piping hot to our table. Soft & fluffy. Coated in fake theater-popcorn butter that made it salty. -- 10 piece boneless wings for $6.99: we chose two flavors--medium wing sauce (very good!) & lemon pepper which tasted more like salt with a side of salt & a sprinkle of salt, for good measure. Oh, with a touch of lemon. Can we say 'salt lick?!' Blech! I liked that this flavor was not coated in a sauce, but the salt content needs to be dialed back A LAWT. This was my first time to ever grace a Wingstop. Ive always wanted to try their chicken since its close to where I live. The cashier was very nice and patient with me since I wasn't familiar at all with their menu regarding flavors and sauces. She helped me decide what three chicken wing flavors to try and take home. I ordered teriyaki, garlic parmesan and original hot. The restaurant was clean and not too noisy considering a game was on a all their tvs. The chicken wings I had were cooked well. The best tasting was the garlic parmesan flavor. The teriyaki was ok and the original hot flavor chicken was as expected. It kind of reminded me of the hot spicy microwavable chicken wings from Costco though. However, Im glad I tried Wingstop.
