We were excited to try this new place out (first timers to Wingers). Got in, looked around, but couldn't see any type of employee anywhere. No bartender, no servers, no host, nothing. We weren't sure if you're suppose to sit yourself or wait to be seated (since there was no one there) but we waited..and waited..and waited.. I would say at least 7 minutes, if not more, but after seeing that no one was coming my husband went to the kitchen door to see if he could get someone, pushed it open and saw all the workers there, just hanging out. They told him they would be right out so he went back to the front where we waited a little more then finally the host came to sit us. We sat at the patio. I asked for an extra kids menu since he only gave us 2 but I had 3 children. He came back and tossed it on the table and walked away... WHO DOES THAT?! The kids menus are folded in to pocket squares with crayons inside vs your flat paper. The host then came and sat another party next to us. Both them and us waited..and waited..and waited for a waiter who never came. After another 7 or so minutes of waiting with no sign of anyone coming to either table, not even to say hello or have someone bring waters or get our drinks, we decided to get up and left. I hope you won't have the same experience as me. That being said: my experience was terrible. It started out a little rocky with our waitress taking a while to take our orders. My salad came out shortly after, and in it was what I can only identify as a cockroach like insect. We notified the manager right away. After he took back the salad and examined it, he came out and insisted that it was a fly and not a cockroach because it had wings. (My thought: I don't care what kind of bug it is, I care that it's in my food. How does the difference between a fly and a cockroach make a difference?) He said it as if almost he was expecting me to be fine with it? It was pretty bizarre... then our waitress was Terrible at communicating anything in regards to what was going on with our food: is she going back for our other plate? Is she getting our drink? Did you forget our sides?.... it was truly painful. The manager was kind enough to give my meal for free along with gift cards for my friends, but we practically had to pry it out of him. Zero service. My husband and I went in to celebrate a special occasion, and greeted our servers with smiles. She stood staring at us and our IDs for a good 5 minutes, told us she had a "bad feeling" and got her Manager. The manager sounded annoyed that she'd been bothered as she declared that we were the people on the cards. We are 33 and 27. Almost 30 minutes later, the server returned without our beers. We have been coming here for about the last two years because of the sticky fingers. The service is hit and miss which I can understand. Rarely has it been horrible. It was a few months ago, and the manager gladly comp'd one of the meals. Today, it was just as bad, we got the all you can eat meal, and there was never any refills. Having to return to lunch, I asked the manager if we could make the price fairer. She said 'I can do 20%'. Well.. I told her that we got six fingers total which was about their 7.99 appetizer and not two 10.99 meals. She just said 'That's all I can do'. Well...I think that is about all we can take with the bad service. Risking bad service and then to have the manager 'hold her ground'? I hate to even give this one star.It was All around terrible. We moved to California 4 years ago and wingers was the place my son wanted to go for his 15th birthday. All the burgers were very well done when we ordered medium. Absolutely dry no flavor unless you like charcoal flavor. The Fries were Cold And soggy. They must've been cooked the day before. The staff didn't even know what food they were bringing to the table, just held the plates up and said "who ordered this?". My husband ordered a jalapeño garden burger from their menu. They brought him a random burger and said they didn't have what he ordered. We asked for napkins 5 times before we got them and repeatedly asked for things to be cleared which was never done. We started stacking on vacant tables. When we talked to the manager she would only comp the burger my husband ordered and didn't get. Everyone was rude. No customer service what so ever. I felt like warning everyone coming in to turn around. My husband is the biggest tipper I have ever met. So of course when our 150.00 bill came I told him not to tip he was still going to drop a $50. However they added $21 to the bill for gratuity which we were not told about. He left them nothing extra. They did not even do anything for my sons birthday which i always remember them bringing asphalt pie. Sometimes I feel like the wings can be a little soggy, but other than that its a good choice. The service here is mediocre, very slow, and very little foot traffic here overall. I can't express enough not to go here for any to-go order close to closing time. The women who took the order was nice enough but still seemed totally annoyed. Like she had somewhere she was supposed to be and you just ruined her night. Wow, it has been a while since I've been to Wingers, but it was a BAD experience. We got the all-you-can-eat wings, myself and my 2 brothers. They (slowly) brought out a plate with like 5 wings on it. After our server finally came back around, we asked for another round of wings. He brought back a plate with 6 total, and said, "split it two apiece." I laughed out loud. We each finished our two wings, then waited a good 5 minutes or so before he even came back around to allow us to order more. After the next helping, even though I could have eaten more, I decided just to not order wings because I didn't want to wait for more. Really bad experience, and I will not be returning. Terrible service, super slow. They have also changed their flavor. I couldn't put my finger on what exactly was different about the original wing and sauce, but it just wasn't the same. The restaurant has been remodeled ultra modern and sports bar like. The waitstaff was great but we had to wait a few times for our waitress. The food was a huge disappointment... I had eaten there before the remodel and it was amazing. So tables have turned great decor and atmosphere but terrible food. We had the all you can eat wings... they were cold and looked like they were used fir target practice with sauce and mostly missed the target. I'm going to give this particular wingers a 5 star. Not only were the wings better than I have had at any other wingers in a long time, but our server was awesome! Mandy did a great job handling a big group of us. We had some guys in our party that were super loud and rowdy. She really went the extra mile when she brought out two pieces of asphalt pie for the table to share be cause we had around ten people and we were celebrating a friend's birthday. Wingers used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I would always go to the one in Ft Union before they closed it. This is a typical chain restaurant. First thing you notice as you walk in the door here is the strong scent of bathroom air freshener -- and urinal cakes. We waited 15 minutes before anybody approached to take our drink order. The wait staff seemed confused, we had two different servers and the manager at our table. The waitress didn't write down our order and had to confirm what we wanted. The fries arrived cold and greasy, after all the other food. The wings were way too saucy and the carrots & celery were missing from our plates. The server did take the fries back and remove them from our check. The Caesar salad tasted decent. The manager came by again, after we paid, and asked how things were. We told her and she offered a free dessert, which we declined. An air vent was was also right above our table, blowing hot air on us our entire visit, making my eyes dry and my throat itchy. We won't be returning. read more

Wow, I went in around 4PM and this was the worst Wingers experience I've ever had. I ordered boneless wings and fries to go. The fries were fine, but not one of the wings was edible. It's a very typical family oriented chain that has a full bar so you can take shots still even with the kids in tow. The food is very average fried fair. Chicken fingers, wings of course, wraps, nothing really pops as unique with the exception of the Wingers original wings. Those are pretty good actually. The prices are normal, between 7 and 11 dollars, so cheap. I only end up here during the weekday because it's across the street from where I work. Honestly, as far as after work hours would I ever end up here? Definitely not. It's sort of a boring environment and seems more suited to low middle class families looking for a "night out." I say pass, but if there's nowhere else around the food isn't horrible. read more

I'll give Wingers a 3/5. I was thinking of 2/3 but this was my first time. The place is decent although set up a little different, think of a cafeteria type bar. They seemed to have a few new severs although they were very nice to me and accommodating . I was reminded that I needed to order something to eat if I was going to drink. This has to be the strangest law that I've ever encountered, oh well I live in LA. I ordered the chicken wings which they said were "World Famous" although I've never heard of them ;) The wings weren't very meaty, and seemed to be small and somewhat dry. I've had better wings for sure. I ordered two Margaritas which were all pretty good, a little too much triple sec but good. I would've ordered another but they ran out of tequila? The new assistant manager Andrea and my server Kelli were very nice. Would I come back again? Yes, I would. A good place for a couple drinks and decent food. read more
