We stopped by to order, then unpacked the car at the hotel across the street and came back for pick up. We waited at least 1/2 hour for our order after we came back, so at least 45 minutes total. The order as given to us was not quite right (fries instead of the salad ordered) and food on the "getting cold" side. They were under staffed and not prepared for the volume of to go orders. Guess what? To go orders are here to stay in this COVID era. They apologized and said they were busy for Sunday, but one would imagine the first Sunday in August may be a big travel day. Simply unfortunate that I cannot leave a less than one star review for this place. First off the host didn't know his head from a hole in the ground, acted like he was just simply out of it. The place was not busy for a Friday night at 7:30 and there was 3-4 waitresses in and around the bar area and we sat, waiting to either to be offered another drink or the check and got neither until we asked our waitress. We sat with empty drinks for at least 10 minutes. She then went and helped 2 other tables, one of which was showing her something on their cell phone. After I got outta my chair and stood at my table an off work waitress offered us assistance!!! We didn't have food, just one drink. I hate posting negative reviews, especially during the COVID-19 time but geez this was by far less than bad service. read more

When I saw Wingers only had 3 stars, I was a little hesitant. But after being in the car for 8+ hours, we were ready to chow down. It didn't matter where. Let me just say, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the food amazing, the service was absolutely spectacular. Jamie, our server, was on top of everything, even making sure my fiancé's water glass never went empty (and he might be part camel). We shared Cajun onion straws, wings and a the Drunken Pig Burger. It was convenient, as we were staying at a hotel across the street. Service was superb! Honestly, my high rating is more so for the service than the food. The wings were okay. We ordered dry rub, some of the wings didn't have much of the seasoning/rub on them. Garlic fries were okay, would've been better had they been fresh. Only had beer so can't speak for the cocktails. My wife and I both woke up with food poisoning. The food was absolutely disgusting and the services was almost just as bad. The server took almost 45 minutes to get us our food when it wasn't even busy. The hostess was rude as well. DONT GO HERE. Highly recommend to go to a different restaurant. read more

We stopped in Elko after a long day of travel from California and needed a warm meal to end the night. We had a lovely waitress, Sidney, who couldn't have been more friendly. She was prompt, knowledgeable, and extremely conversational and fun. Sidney helped my husband find a great ale to drink and the perfect spice rub for his chicken and she reassured me when I had questions about their gluten free menu since I have Celiac. She even personally treated us to a delicious dessert. We were shocked and humbled by her generosity. She truly deserves a promotion for her hard work! She represented Wingers in the best way possible and left me wanting to recommend the place to everyone. Our food was hot and delicious and came out in a timely manner. No complaints! read more

Will never go back - would leave 0 stars if we could. Terrible service. My husband ordered a drink from the bar. They brought him a drink and tried to pass it off as if it was what he ordered even though it was completely the wrong drink. Service sucks food is decent but to have to wait over an hour for food and watch other tables get there food before we did was very disappointed! I came with my American friends and maybe just maybe because I'm a Mexican Veteran of the United States of America after fighting the the War in Iraq I'm just at a lost of words even after talking to the manager on duty.... he never came back to check on us after we spoke to him the first time. If you get the food to go, you're probably going to be okay with this place. We stopped in here thinking it was a sports bar and we wanted to watch playoff hockey. Every (not an exaggeration) TV in the bar area (and a few others in the dining area) was on the same NBA basketball game, and the volume for said game blasting. That was definitely a disappointment. This basketball game wasn't a hugely important one nor a regionally interesting game, mind you, Cleveland v. Toronto, and it was just really weird and annoying that that was the only thing on in the bar. I have never seen an establishment that called themselves a sports bar be so asinine to think that all of their patrons want to see the same game on all of the screens. As far as the food goes -- the wings and the burger that we got were very good and is where the 2 stars come from. However, the glass of water we got tasted horrible and the most likely culprit of us being sick afterwards. No lemon could cover that up. We thought it might be an Elko thing bc we have run into that before, where the water just isn't that good, but that wasn't the case at the diner where we had breakfast. Had a quick dinner at bar the other day. Our bartender was a blonde named Nicole. The worst service I have ever had any any bar. She could never be found, was making and drinking magaritas behind the bar and talking with other staff as we waited for her and finally got her attention. It was like she was a customer and not wait staff. She even was yelling something about a "BL$W JOB" (shot) to a customer that was leaving and there were 2 kids about 12yrs of age having dinner with their parents. WTH!! Nice class! The food was good, but the worst service I have seen. If this was my place, she needs training about proper service and conduct. I wont be back ever. So sad, because the food was ok. Had a W burger with no bun, which was perfect for me. Meat was a little dry, but steak fries were seasoned well and cooked perfectly: some crispy, some soggy (I mostly like the soggy ones). Lucio was my server and he was fabulous. Attentive and brought my high maintenance extras with a smile. One thing I couldn't understand was that Lucio was busy and busting his a$$ but the bussers were just meandering. At one point, I had my plates stacked up with my napkin on top and pushed to the edge of the table when Rafael (a busser, seemingly) came over and asked if everything was ok. I had to give the place a 5 to help balance out some of the very negative reviews. Is this place a franchise on the same field as something like Buffalo Wildwings? Sure, but not everywhere is going to be a personalized local dive bar. It was refreshing to be able to hit up a clean, newly(ish) built and designed restaurant. I got the sticky fingers with buffalo style sauce. The portion wasn't huge, but the fries and coconut rice I got with the tenders were pretty good. Also, the "craft" brews they have on tap are fairly decent and come in a 24oz mug unless you ask for a 16oz. I got two of the tall porters. It wasn't the best porter I've ever had, but it was cold, crisp, and smooth. As for the service, I was seated right away and the waitress was just as attentive as she needed to be. My food was out in under 10 minutes. It was explained to me that the management of the place has changed recently, perhaps this explains the good experience I had compared to the negatives other have had in the past. If you're passing through Elko, definitely try one of the local restaurants (Basque, Mexican, BBQ, etc). But, if you're going to be in Elko for a while and are looking to change it up, give this place a try. read more

The head manager Dave is gutless and worthless as a manager. He said that he would resolve my issue because I was willing to leave after proving the special was good in Elko, NV not just UTah. I had to get up to started looking for him before they knew I was serious. This place needs new management badly. Update: Dave called me and we discussed issues. Driving from Colorado to California is one boring ride! Elko was our pit stop for the night and there was basically nothing in this town as far as dining goes. We tried Buffalo Bites and the BBQ chopped salad. Both were dishes anyone with a little cooking knowledge could have cooked. Poor service in terms of speed of service. Menus smelled like stale beer or stinky bar towels. It took 2 hours to get our lunch and get out! The food was great and the beers were tasty. Wingers is a great restaurant with a friendly atmosphere! The bar is huge and has a lot of alcohol options... Don't forget the plethora of TVs for sports... I kept it low key and went for the basket of (12) wings, which was delish. My friend Devin devoured the wings like a hungry caveman! He mentioned the house sauce was succulent and rich- I think some would just say it's a great house sauce, but Devin is flamboyant about his opinions!! Tee hee hee! Zack went with The Drunken Pig, which looked amazing! Zach finished strong as he took his time licking his fingers like a wild beast! We ordered wings and fries to go, when we picked it up the waitress read the order to us so we're thinking it's good to go. We come home only to find that half our order is missing! We went back to pick up the rest which did not taste that good. So half of our food is cold and soggy and the other half doesn't taste good. Check your orders before going home. read more

Wingers is probably my favorite place. I love wings and they just have the crispest around! But that's not what this is about. A few days ago(Sunday I believe) I went with my BF to get dinner. We ordered some chips and I started to feel sick while eating them and by the time our food came out I was very sick. Our waitress handled the situation like a champ! She ran my card and had the food boxed up so quickly! She was asking if I was ok and would be alright. Very nice! I forgot her name but she has light colored hair and glasses. Great waitress!! The only reason Wingers get one star is because they didn't charge for our drinks. My sisters had to go to the bar and order ourselves. We sat there for 20 minutes the before we decided to go order. We let the bartender know how long we were waiting so she said she would let the waitresses know. As she opened the door the the kitchen there was about 3 girls back there talking or standing there staring at the cooks, who knows. So the bartender says someone will be over and took our drink orders and said she would take them to our table, which was nice and I appreciated that. They send over an older lady after one of the girls said she could take our drink order, I told her no we already ordered. We sat down ordered our food finally, then it took another 30-45 minutes to get to our table by then I was annoyed. I then took a bite of my wings and they were cold! My sisters was the same but she ate it anyway. My other sister got the wrong order and also ate it cause we were hungry by this time. Not me!! I sent mine back and told them to take it off the ticket and I ended up eating my off another plate. And to make matters worse, the gentleman and two guests who was sat right before us got their drinks and food before we even got our drink order taken care of. Been in town for a week, decided to walk down for convince and grab dinner. First I will say, I have no idea, well minimal, regarding the quality of food. From my prior experience it is typical bar food. We were craving fries so it was in line to meet our expectations. Upon walking in, no guests coming or going were wearing masks besides us. The hostess was, but had to call over a waitress to take our order. The waitress had her mask below her nose. Okay, whatever, we order. She says it will be 25-30 minutes for the burger, fries and wings we ordered. We walk over to the bar area to wait and order a beer, there are customers sitting at the bar and tables everywhere. There are two bartenders and a couple servers running about. Of them, none! None! Have there mask above the nose and one has it around her chin. If this is what is happening in view, I don't even want to know what the cooks and servers are doing in the kitchen. At this point I tell my partner I can't do it and ask her to cancel our order. I walked out. So if you are on the same end of the spectrum as I am regarding Covid, you probably don't want to go here. read more

Not too impressed here folks. I came here with my family to get some beers and appetizers. The apps were a little pricey and small, and the beer was just pricey. My family agreed, the service sucked, and monster truck rallies on TV? Oh and a horrible hunting show was on. I would have rather watched NHL hockey, or anything else really. She greeted me with in a minute,with a smile and a great personality I ordered the roadhouse burger with tomato lettuce pickles and add bacon Well not a good start, came out with onion and mayo the two things did not ask for.
