Maps Vintner's Village Cabernet Ct, Prosser, WA 99350 Shopping Mall Jess Latham 22 points   in the last week Went to Wine o Clock for a late lunch and we received one. After waiting for tables we ordered and one hour and 15 minutes later our food came to the table. My $16 burger sat on the counter ten feet from my table for at least ten minutes. And not under a warming lamp either. My wife had a chicken salad about the size of an average dinner salad. It didn't look amazing which it should for $22. In fairness they did not charge me for the burger. One pizza ordered by our party sat at the door of wood fire oven for thirty minutes while the rest of our meal cooked. I'll bet you can guess how great the pizza was. We new this is an expensive place but hoped that would be balanced by great food and service. read more

Went for dinner last night with friends. We've been here many times & not once been disappointed. The chef & staff always go the extra mile to serve up the most delicious food using in season fruit & produce. Always a great selection of wines to please everyone. Susan does amazing job with her decor & fresh flowers always! I think the best restaurant between Seattle & Spokane. Make a reservation for sure and you won't be disappointed. read more

I greatly enjoyed our lunch for four today. Susan was so gracious and accommodating as we did not have reservations. The staff was attentive, food inspired and ambiance inviting. The white wine flight delicious. Thanks to all who made us welcome and content!! read more

I love this place! The food is amazing. The wines are the best. I know you'll be surprised to hear this but one of the nicest things about Wine O'clock is the paper products in the bathroom. I know that you might think this is a place you can scrimp but toilet tissue and hand towels feel so thick and soft... Patrons really do appreciate soft towels. Thank you! read more

I had been waiting for a chance to visit the Prosser area specifically to try this place out, and it definitely exceeded the hype! Great selection of wines and wine flights, delicious food. Pros: cozy atmosphere, bustling kitchen within sight but still quiet and calm in the dining area. Great food--hot, flavorful, perfectly cooked. Cons: this would have been 5 stars, but because of two small things, I can't give it 5 stars in good faith. First, we had a reservation, but were not seated until 30 minutes after our reservation time. Understandable, we had a later reservation and the previous table was taking a long time, but our only option was to wait outside, and it was pretty cold--don't know what would happen in the winter. Second, we ordered 2 desserts and could see the cheesecake waiting on the bar by the kitchen while the other was being prepared. One of the chefs walked up to it, and pinched off some of the topping in plain sight of the entire restaurant! We think he had a gloved hand (but he was also closing things down and no idea what he was touching previously), but why not use a spoon or do it out of sight of customers? It wasn't a dealbreaker (we discussed cancelling our cheesecake order and explaining why, but we really wanted the cheesecake...), but it was weird, unprofessional, and made us super uncomfortable. It would have been easy to just use a utensil, or bring it down to the counter behind the bar where no one could see. The cheesecake was still super delicious, but it felt less good because it arrived with a clear pinch-mark from his fingers and we couldn't get it out of our minds. If I'm going to watch someone touch the food I am going to be served, I want to know that their hands are relatively clean. Just do it out of sight next time!! read more

Sweet, romantic spot for a leisurely dinner after a day of wine tasting. A bit expensive, but very good quality food. Both the steak and fish were delicious. read more

This is absolutely our favorite place to stop while wine tasting in the area. We have never been disappointed. It's always very good. Innovative menu with a nice selection. Their pizza and salads are always a favorite. Nice wine selection and the service is always great. Great atmosphere. By far the best place in the area. read more

We almost didn't go because of the silly name, but that would have been too bad. A couple of people told us this is the best food in the area, and I bet they are right. We went in with no reservation on a very busy night. They told us they could seat us, but our food would take a while because they had 7 tables in front of us. Having no other real options, we said ok. We had a goat cheese fondue (YUM) and some wine flights to tide us over. Their wine is fantastic! We also ordered two pizzas - the pear bacon one (several people told us to get this and it was tasty), and a spicy salumi one. Both were delicious. The service was good (one person accidentally dropped a grape in a wine glass but the wine was replaced without any issue). We'd go back for sure. read more

We love coming everytime we are staying at the RV park nextdoor. It is best to make a reservation to ensure you get in. Nice building and property next to several wine tasting rooms. They also have wine tastings at the restuarant. The staff are friendly and the food is superb! We enjoy the gourmet pizzas. My only observation through the years is it can be very frustrating when you enter without a reservation and you see many open tables and you are told that they are busy and it will be an hour plus wait. This is why I say to make a reservation! Can't say enough good stuff. This place isn't cheap but not expensive. I find it priced right. At least I keeep coming back each year. read more

Salad- $10 consisted of lettuce and grape tomatoes with 5 green beans on top. Booooring Fresh Corn Chowder with crab- $8 Tiny bowl, one very measly bit of crab- Really disappointing chocolate bread pudding with bourbon sauce- $10 Comes in a teensy weensy two inch by two inch square bowl. Seriously!? It's day old bread, folks reinvented into a dessert, quit with the paltry portions. $62 plus tip for a boring, parsimonious lunch that left me more than ready to go home and eat a big dinner. Wine O' clock you lost a customer because you couldn't part with a couple good chunks of crab, a few interesting ingredients in a horridly boring salad, and a fair serving of bread pudding. read more

Definitely one of my favorites! I've never been disappointed with their wine, food, or service. Attention to detail! You'd never guess that the owner is always among those serving, cooking and tending to guests. read more

Awesome place. Came in with only a hour until we needed to be at a wedding and they say us down at another person reservation because we said we would be out before the reservation people came. They served us very quickly. We had the pizza which was really good! read more

I'll start with the positive - I really liked my food once I got it. We originally had reservations for 7 of us at 8:15, but they said they could accomodate us at 6:30 instead. Great! We get there at 6:30, and our waitress takes our drink and appetizer order - which she promptly forgets and has to come back to take it again. No biggie. Once she brought out the wine and apps, she came back eventually to take our orders. That was the last we saw of her - not even an glance our way - for an hour. Meanwhile she was socializing with another table out on the patio - laughing and having a great time. I had to go in and ask if we could get our water glasses filled. At that point, it was like they remembered we were there and about 20-30 minutes later they brought our food out. Some of us had great food, some of us got the wrong order, but ate it anyway, and some of the food had clearly been out for a LONG time. To be honest, we weren't too mad about waiting. It was a beautiful night and we were out on the patio. What bothered us was the treatment! We were literally treated as if we didn't exist. I know they had a big party inside, but all she had to do to make us satisfied was come out and either A. apologize for the wait, or B. bring us an "on the house" appetizer while we waited an hour and a half. We also drained our wine, and they could have made way more money if she came out to ask if we wanted more. So, to sum it up, the service was a total bust. I also went in to let them know that we were not going to pay the required 18% for parties 6 or greater. The hostess agreed to this, but was very rude. She said that was fine, but to remember that they were the generous ones that "squeezed" us in. Um, no. Don't squeeze us in if you can't handle the workload. We would have been fine with 8:15. That's about when we ate anyway. They need a little lesson on customer service. read more

We joined friends from Granger who have raved about this establishment, I must say they were right , everything from the starters to dessert was excellent and is as good or better than many Seattle up scale places at a lower price point read more

Enjoyed visiting Suzane's beautiful restaurant twice on this trip to wine country. As usual, great wines, service and freshness of ingredients and flavors. There was a new item on the menu of clams in broth. Somehow they let me talk them into adding fusilli pasta into the mix. It was delicious. I suggest they add it to the item. The menu can be enlarged a bit to accommodate a wider array of tastes. Just my humble opinion. good job, nevertheless. read more

The only place in Prosser that tasted good! Thank you Wine O'Clock. We had the chef's trio of scallops, tomatoes, and bay scallops ceviche. Excellent! Paired well with the wine pairings recommended on the menu. Had the savovry and sweet pizza (pear and bacon) for an entre and it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Wine pairings for pizza was great too. Had the lavendar and ginger creme brule with french press coffee for desert. Excellent! Highly recommend. read more

My favorite place to eat when in the area! Their mushroom burger is delicious, and so is the sweet and savory pizza. Very fresh salads, and yummy wine! They've always been super accommodating when we've stopped in, even though it's small and very popular. Definitely a must if you're in the area! read more

I went out to Washington visiting Dude on a business trip, and he found this place on Yelp. Dude had the bacon burger and now dreams about finding a burger this good back home in California. I had the veggie pesto sando and it made my tummy happy. The lunch menu is short, but the quality is top notch. My only regret is that we didn't have more meals here! *sniff* But on a another note, there are some other wineries near by which is also really cool. read more

I absolutely adore this place! I've never encountered a bad experience here. The food has always been great. It's so nice to have some specials every time we go. The wines are great and I love to order the flights to try several at a time. The servers are always friendly and take good care of us. It's the best thing around these parts. We travel about 30 miles to dine here often! read more

Stopped here the other day for the first time. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the mood for some delicious food and excellent wine. The place has a charming atmosphere and excellent service. I ordered the pear & bacon pizza and a white wine flight. This was one of the best pizzas that I have ever had!!!! Every bite was to die for! All the wines I tried were excellent, my favorite being the muscat. What a fabulous lunch!!!!! read more

Chef's pizza was very good. Cooked in a brick oven right behind us. Yummy

With the exception of the watermelon soup, this place was fantastic!! Very cool decor, good service, and delicious food options

So, I hate to be one of those people who reviews a place based solely on the service and the ambience, but I'm going to anyways in the interest of transparency. This seems to be the only place in the area that serves decent food, according to all of the tasting room staff we asked for suggestions. Unfortunately, that means the restaurant can be extremely rigid, inflexible, and not customer-oriented. We stopped in hoping to enjoy something to go or on the large outdoor patio in front of the place, only to be told that they aren't serving folks out there (despite the fact that there was another gentleman outside being served). We then asked if we could order, get our food inside, and then sit outside, without any expectation of receiving service out there. We could even bus our own table. We were then told that they only open the patio on nice days (the day we were there was 78 degrees without a cloud in the sky, and the forecast the entire week leading up to our visit showed that it would be a beautiful day). Additionally, the place was only about 1/4 full, so the argument that they were slammed and needed to keep everyone inside and close is null. So we left. Kind of a bi*chy move on our part, I realize, but I also wasn't super excited about spending $20 for a pizza and $10 for a miniature salad. Again, I guess you can do that when you're in the middle of a food desert. We ended up picking up a nice turkey pesto sandwich at Safeway for $5 and headed to a winery to sit outside in the sunshine with a few glasses of wine. Lesson learned: Next time we're in the area, we'll just rent a place with a kitchen. read more

This is the best place to eat in the tri cities area. Expensive but so worth rhe price. Will go again tasty food & wine!!

I planned a day for my wife with some stops along the way from the Airport in Tri-Cities to Yakima. So I chose this place at semi-random. Best Choice Ever... well second, the first was to get married to my wife. Anyway, for the quality of food it should have been a lot more exspensive. That was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Sad news is we were not local so we couldn't go back. If I ever do make it back in that direction I am going to go back for sure. I've already told my friends who live in WA about this place. I wish you were here (Wine O'Clock to be in the Bay Area CA). read more

Excellent service & dog friendly patio seating. Food was amazingly fresh and delicious too!

If you are looking for an elegant dinner on a budget this is the place. The wine is superb and the salad is to die for. I had the crudo salad and I will definitely return for it. We also enjoyed the minestrone soup which was homemade and simple delicious. The sweet and savory pizza with bacon and pear is worth the drive to the little remote town of prosser. read more

Really really really good food. Service is on point and the wines are nice. Have some moderate to expensive wines but you shouldn't have too hard a time finding the right one. Pizzas are simply amazing and the summer melon soup is mind blowing. read more

One of the best kept secrets for food in Prosser. Good service, great food and wine. Highly recommend this to locals and tourists alike.

This place had great food and great service. I recently ate here with a friend for lunch while touring the local wineries. A friend and I split a salad and a pizza (Pesto Pizza) both of which were large portions and tasted amazing! We left very full and it only cost us about $28.00! read more

Had a great lunch at Wine O'Clock! The goat cheese appetizer was delicious and came with a fresh and tasty spread of fruits and nuts. The pear bacon pizza was very tasty and had perfectly balanced flavor. The wine flights are a great way to sample several different wines at a meal too! On top of the delicious food and wine, the service was impeccable and the staff were very attentive. I would definitely return. read more

Terrible service. Went there today (06/24/17) at 12:30 for lunch. We had to ask for water and menus after 30 minutes at our table. They told us they were out of menus, so we had to snag one from a waitress as she walked by. Only after ordering they told us it would be 45+ min for food. The waiter (male) told us next time make reservations, we treat them differently. read more

This is a great place for a casual wine pairing lunch as the restaurant and Bunnell Family Cellars have the same owners. My two favorite dishes here were the Savoury and Sweet Pizzetta (pears, bacon, green onions and white cheddar) and Pulled Pork with Asian Spice & Noodles. I came to Wine O'Clock for the first time on July 28th with family. We sat outside and the ambience was lovely with perfect weather. For the first half of our lunch, the service was good. At some point, our waitress went on break without a warning to us, seating herself nearby with a friend to eat lunch. We had already ordered, and three of the four meals came out together fairly promptly. My meal, a pizza, did not arrive at the same time. I am comfortable waiting a few minutes for my meal, but part of the appeal of dining out (at least in my opinion) is to enjoy food at the same time as your companions. Finally, after my family was half-finished and it had been more than ten minutes without any service, I had to get up, go inside the restaurant, and track someone down. At that point the woman I located spoke to the chef and delivered my food. The pizza (pear and bacon) was delicious. So was the grilled romaine salad. I believe my family enjoyed their food as well. The food in Seattle would be good, but in Central Washington the rating increases to excellent. However, the restaurant did not deduct the price of my pizza from our bill (which I felt was warranted in this situation). The waitress did bring out a complimentary dessert which was nice but not the appropriate remedy. Though the effort mitigated my annoyance at being unable to enjoy my meal at the same time as my family, I do feel the proper course of action would have been removing the cost of my meal from the bill, especially where the restaurant is higher-priced in terms of the area. I truly do not mind paying higher dining prices where the restaurant provides above-average food and service. Wine O'Clock is in Prosser, and as others have noted it is one of the only restaurants of its kind in the area. Would I go back? Perhaps. Do I feel the restaurant could make some improvements to their service and attention to detail? Most definitely. read more

Great food and wine. My favorite was the pear and bacon pizza, in a surprising twist my wife preferred the artisan meat WITH EGG. Can't go wrong either way. Wine flights compliment the meals, great choices. Service is a bit slow, but with 100+ degree heat, who's in a hurry? Be polite and respectful and so will they. read more

This is a must to stop in for pizza or whatever is on the menu. On this visit I had a lamb burger with brie and yummy local cherries smothered all over it. I wasn't eating bread since I had already drank my carbs, which was handy because I ate every tender morsel with a fork and knife. read more

I have been here several times over the years and we always make a point to dine here when in Prosser. The food is good and has always been top notch but this last time we went it was pretty average. The staff and service was wonderful but I was a bit disappointed with my dinner; especially when I know how it has been in the past. read more
