This review is waaaay overdue, as my schedule is so hectic. However, it's been more than a month, and I am still dreaming about their pork belly ramen. One of the best things I've ever eaten...literally! The owners/chefs truly prepare their food with love and passion, and you can taste it in every bite. His Ajitama egg is PERFECTION! The pork belly was incredible, noodles, again...perfect. I'm running out of adjectives here, but you get the idea. Support this wonderful small business. We tried the new Endive Eatery Friterie at its new location in Richland. The weather was nice and we were able to eat outside. The food and service were outstanding. We had the Poke Tuna bowl and a new treat called Nugs. They are upscale chicken nuggets. You choose the breading, I choose pineapple and plum with house made blue cheese for dipping. I have a new favorite! I love the unique flavors to choose from. Definitely will be back! If you like citrus, try the citrus martini. It has fresh squeezed juice, no added sugar. Stopped in again to take someone out for their birthday. Thought I could hardly do better that the Endive. Since I wanted to try something new, I ordered the P&L Chicken while my companion had the excellent Tonkotsu Ramen. The chicken was a thigh, plenty of meat, with the skin at just that point when it gives up its juices and schmaltz, but before it crisps. I don't know if the cauliflower was pickled in a brine, but the cabbage tasted like it was lacto-fermented in salt. It was crisp and light and delicious. This has to be the most overpriced microwaved food. I had high hopes for this given the reviews. I now question who has reviewed this at 4+ stars. It took close to an hour for us to get our food and there was only 1 other table of 2 dining at the time. They could not substitute items because they are pre-made and just microwaved, so the fact that we still had to wait an hour was baffling. Once the food finally came out it was lukewarm at best. Starbucks has better sandwiches than the one pictured (ft: the microwaved bacon in the back). We all took one bite of our food and drive down the road somewhere else for something edible. What an adorable and cozy little place! I love the indoor jungle vibe, and everything we ate was delicious! The creamy prawns with toasties dish was so good that we literally wanted to lick up the sauce! We also got the salad with asparagus, strawberries, and goat cheese and it was also very good. Update December 2024- went there for a pop up appetizer/small plate dinner event. Service was extra slow, the kitchen was not prepared and had missing ingredients immediately upon opening for the event. What we ordered was dropped off without explaining what it was and most items were pretty so-so. We did not even receive all of the plates that we ordered before a waitress asked for our table. So we paid and left, not going back anytime soon, that's for sure. read more

The only good thing this place can accomplish is making pre-made food look presentable. I asked for no sour cream in my burrito and the server comes back and tells me they can't do that because it's already premade. In my mind I'm like; "ok it's going to be microwaved or just heated up." I didn't want to make it into a big deal and decided to deal with it. It also took over 45 minutes to bring the food out and there was only two other tables being served. That's a ludicrous amount of time for food that's already pre-made. I've lived in Tri for 5 years, eaten at every last restaurant this place has to offer and endive is by far the tip top of my list now. Wow! We had an early Sunday breakfast and were awed by not just the presentation of the food but the quality and service we were given. This gem is tucked away in an inconspicuous location and it deserves some attention. There is a diner vibe with lots of fresh greenery and what looked to be local art displays. Wow were we disappointed. We went here for breakfast because this place had 4.4 rating on Yelp. Those reviews must have been from friends and relatives. We ordered and waited one hour for our food. There was only one young lady who did everything. It's not like it was crowded. There were two people ahead of us. We got the food and the disappointment continued. My wife ordered quiche and it was barely heated. I ordered a Benedict with poached eggs and smoked salmon. The eggs were not poached. Both yolks were hard. The salmon was very cold. The potatoes tasted like they were made yesterday. I writing this review because otherwise people would be misled by the rating of 4.4. read more
