Server was very slow to get order, get our food, then we waited almost half an hour after finished to get the check and boxes for our food. I walked to IDK from VW/KIA, about .6 of a mile. It was definitely worth the walk! I ordered a Philly Omelette. It was huge and came with toast and hash browns! I couldn't eat it all! Food is decent quality, prices are a little high. My over easy eggs were undercooked. They proceeded to tell me that the whites of my eggs are supposed to be runny but only the yoke is supposed to be runny. This Could cause people to become sick from food born illness such as salmonella. They then brought me back my food with less portions that were previously there and 1 less egg. I've only ever been here for breakfast and I've only had the chicken fried steak.... but that's all I needed to know. It's so yummy and it's WAY too much food. I've learned to ask for no toast because between the home fries, chicken fried steak, eggs, AND giant pancake, who has room for toast? A nice option in Tri-Cities for breakfast/brunch. Not excellent but good for the area. Our group got a couple different Benedict's (classic and Thai shrimp) the Cajun omelette, and French toast. Found this place on YELP. Good reviews and menu looked good. We went when it was dark out. The place is on auto row and if not for GPS we would of missed it. Parking lot pretty full with cars/trucks and not well lit. It is IDK bar and restaurant ... we almost changed our mind since we don't typically go to bar/restuarants due to noise etc. but we walked in restuarant very separate from bar and very quiet. It was very clean and waitress gave us friendly greeting. We ordered Spinach Salad and the pecan steak salad. Salads were huge! They were very good and satisfying. Great service. In short the food was good, not great, but the service was very good and it was a very good place for the kids. We had our own table on the second level and almost no one else was in the restaurant. Portions are large, burgers were pretty good, fries that came with the orders were OK. I had the sense that everything sounded better on the menu than it was, but having said that, everything was pretty good. The restaurant is on a main drag, lots of automotive businesses. It looks like an old school diner from the outside, and it is. But the interior is nice, diner like, but maybe a little nicer. I would come here again. read more

Cute restaurant with several booths and tables for seating. It has a local vibe since it had photos from Kennewick in the 50's. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Lots of great menu options and some unique items you can't get anywhere else in town. Burger patties here are really tasty. I had the Elvis burger but not sure banana belongs on a burger and it was a bit dry. My cup of cream of mushroom soup was a bit bland and tasted like canned campbells cream of mushroom just heated up. My husband liked the My Light Fire Burger but it wasn't anything "special". The fries were yummy but a style lots of places have. We shared a cinnamon roll and it seems like bakery style reheated pastry not made in house. Stopped by this place while waiting to catch a flight. Doesnt look like much on the outside, but the it is actually pretty nice. Plenty of seating and a bar. The menu has plenty to offer from breakfast to lunch to dinner. I had the country fried steak and eggs as recommended by the staff. I dont have anything bad to say about it, just it was nothing memorable. The gravy was good but just average. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. Where to start? My wife ordered a coffee and the cup had dirty food particles in it. We told the waitress and she didn't seem like it was a big deal, no apology only "I'll get you another one". We ordered chocolate milk, it was a pack of hot chocolate mix in white milk. If you don't offer chocolate milk normally or are out just let people know. Pancakes had a weird density, felt as if previously frozen and warmed up. Steak was ordered medium rare, came out medium well. No follow up by waitress, just dropped off the check. When I went to pay she asked how breakfast was, I stated "A lot of down points" she just nervously chuckled and told me my total. I will not be surprised if this building will be for rent again soon. This is a very disappointing place, I got a burger that was filled with grease, enough to make it run down my cheek and onto my shirt and hair. The fries taste store bought and the chicken tastes frozen. I took the lettuce off of my burger and it was coated in grease. The bill came out shockingly $54, for the quality of something that tasted like it should have been $30. The restaurant itself needs renovation, it's a very cramped area.
