I tried Nomad Lounge with our Martini Social Group last night. I think the outdoor seating is great! I love the fireplaces in between sectionals. Inside they have some very modern furniture. Reminds me of a bigger classier White Buddha. The live band was pretty good. I'm excited to see more bands in there. I did not have the food however I had an age before beauty cocktail which was delicious. Chessa waited on us. She was upbeat, friendly, and just a really nice person. Thanks so much Chessa, I know big groups can be stressful at times. In time I know this place will be great. I definitely plan to frequent this lounge. It's about time Tri-Cities stepped up and opened a classy place. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Martini-Social-Group/367237796815703

I have tried to give this place many chances, and it doesn't consistently hit the mark. There have been times (2) where it has hit all the marks, and others (4) where it has missed every one. Beef tallow fries and lounge decor are pretty much the only the thing I can say is consistently good. The low lights have been long wait times for food, food not cooked as ordered, and ordering filet mignon and being served a cheap cut of roast. So if you want to just have cocktails and fries in a lounge atmosphere, this place is for you. If you are wanting to have a good meal and service, this may not be your top choice in the tri-cities.

We (3 of us) went to Nomad Kitchen and Lounge for lunch. We love the modern furnishings, recorded music and spacious dining-drinking area. We enjoyed the craft beer selections and lunch entrees. All three dishes (Pan Seared Crab Burger), (Pacific Northwest Fish Tacos), (Charcuterie Wrap) were delicious and exhibited excellent plate presentations. We will be back. Favorite dish: Pacific Northwest Fish Tacos

Where to begin....modern decor-very cool; craft beer-also very cool; friendly staff, fabulous food! Only a few words but believe me the best in the area! Oh and non GMO, local food sources. Seasonal menus. Awesome! I had the crab Mac and cheese, my husband had the Kobe burger and fries.

I waited for 15 minutes before the waitress brought my menu, I had to ask for a napkin after my salad had been served, and I asked for a my drink twice. I ordered pork belly and my friend ordered salmon. My friend's salmon was overcooked because it was plated too early and waited for my pork belly to finish. The "double" drinks are hardly singles. Will I be back? Yes, because I am hopeful that things will improve. I believe in the local food the restaurant promotes and the Tri-Cities needs the type of funk Nomad offers. I truly hope service improves because the pork belly was amazing!!

Came here for some photo shots. And orders a ice cream. Lady here is really nice and she helped us with our needs. Also, I like the vanilla ice cream, not sweet but right on the point.

Fine Dinning in a great location here in Red lion hotel in Kennewick,WA. Big portions and awesome lunch specials. Come see us and be impressed and leave full. Update.. Very sad chef Patricia is no longer cooking there and unfortunate that Nomad closed their dinning room.

Great lounge spot for after work or the weekend. Great drinks and menu. Have not tried the full service restaurant yet but have had some good appetizers and trying the taco Tuesday tacos today. I like that they have live music regularly and a nice outdoor seating area, this will be great for summer. Much improved since its initial opening.

Overcooked, baked ribeye covered in gravy for $25, seriously? This place has a cool atmosphere and the server in the bar was great but don't waste your money on the food. The quality was definitely not there.

    Great food and drinks!

A Mixed Bag with Room for Improvement (2.5/5)…read more We visited Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar for lunch and left with mixed feelings. While a couple of items stood out for decent flavor, the overall experience, especially the service and value, didn't quite meet expectations for a mid-range bistro. What We Ordered: 1. Fried Calamari - Lightly crispy and seasoned well enough, but the portion was small for the ~$20 price tag. The artichokes and pickled onions on the side were a nice touch and helped round out the dish. 2. Avocado Toast - Served as four half-slices of toast with a thin spread of avocado--decent, but underwhelming. The scrambled eggs were passable but felt commercial. The arugula salad on the side was overdressed and heavy on cheese, likely gorgonzola. 3. Steak Salad - The steak cubes were overcooked and arrived cold, which was the biggest disappointment. Though the salad greens were fresh and plentiful, the dish was heavy on cashews, and the cheese flavor was intense. 4. Breakfast Burrito with Fries - I didn't try this personally, but our friend said it was not memorable. The fries looked average--crispy but nothing special. ‍ Service: Service was polite but lacked attentiveness. After being seated, we waited about 10-15 minutes to receive a drink order. Only two glasses were brought out for three people, and when our appetizer arrived, no utensils were provided. We had to request basics that should have been automatically offered. We did appreciate the server accommodating our request to change tables for better sun however. Ambience: The interior had a retro-upscale family restaurant vibe--maybe reminiscent of a 1990s aesthetic. Some might find the design nostalgic, though it felt a little dated to us. The lighting fixtures were interesting and varied in design, which added a little flair. Pricing falls into the $30-40 range per person with an appetizer, so expectations were naturally higher. Final Thoughts: Twigs Bistro has potential, but inconsistencies in food quality, small portions for the price, and inattentive service made the visit less than ideal. While we enjoyed some elements like the calamari and fresh greens, it's not a place we'd prioritize returning to--especially given the number of great dining options in the area.

After ordering, our drinks were brought out, but the food still wasn't at the table at 6:45. We asked for crayons so the children could color, but they were not forthcoming. I got up after 20 minutes to get the crayons myself. I ran into the waitress and reminded her that we needed crayons. She went and got them. We talked about leaving and paying for our drinks. The waitress came and told us there was a "glitch in the system and our ticket didn't print." That was an explanation without meaning. Our food began to arrive in pieces. It took another 15 minutes for everyone at the table (4 adults and 2 children) to get their food. Someone in management came out and comped my daughter's appetizer. Upon paying the bill, there was an automatic 18% tip added to the bill. We are good tippers and would have left at least that much (not because the service was good and not because we loved the food.) It wasn't the money I objected to, it was taking my right to determine what we would leave as a TIP (to insure promptness). It really ate at me. I called the restaurant where a women answered and told me the manager was too busy to speak to me, but she would have him call me back if I told her my problem. She became snippy and rude as I explained my issue. Later, she called back and in the same short and irritated way told me that the manager wouldn't talk to me, but they would return the tip to my credit card. I told her that was not the goal I had in mind. I wanted to let the owner/manager know that I don't like the policy of adding a tip without consent. She told me the policy was printed on the menu (I guess I was looking for food and missed the legal ease.) I suggested that the policy should be on a sign as you enter the restaurant so that people don't feel violated when you assign them an amount to leave the staff. She said, "So, do you want the refund?" I said, "yes", which kind of surprised me, but her attitude sent me over the edge. I provided my credit card information and will NEVER return to this restaurant!
