This place has served us grey shrimp in bland nasty sour aguachile salsa 3 of the 5 times we have been there in the last few months. The cucumbers and onions were not even marinated in the salsa. Tasted like they had poured half the bottle of generic lime juice. And threw the shrimp, onions and cucumbers in there last minute. They tried to correct it but failed because this dish has to literally sit and marinate for hours. The wait is super long, service is so freaking slow, we have sat there 10-20 min before someone came to even ask for drink orders. Saturday night takeout. Two of us ordered the family-size taco plate to share, which was described as being enough for two or more; the other person had the wedge salad. I thought - that's enough food, we should all be stuffed - but actually we weren't and we were disappointed by cost vs quantity. The wedge salad was tasty and was small-salad-sized. Crispy salty fatty bacon was a flavorful addition The iceberg lettuce was wilted (I wasn't sure if the food had been ready and packed in the bag for a while before our planned pickup time so maybe it got cooked by the tacos.) Beef family sized taco plate came with six petite tortillas, a lot of limes, a small (cup?) size tub of beans and a similar sized tub of rice. Also a small container of onions/cilantro, and radishes. There was a lot of beef, not enough rice and beans, and definitely six small tortillas were not enough for all the meat. Salsas were tasty and accompanied by a small bag of chips. For $43.99 we expected the tacos to be a LOT of food - it was a generous amount of meat but there was nothing to eat it with after the tortillas were gone, and as family commented, beans and rice felt like they were just right for one person, not two; chips were enough for two but not three, etc. Both flour and corn tortillas were - as other reviewers have commented - excellent. Ordered for pickup at a specific time, food was ready at the crowded restaurant when I got there, but I suspect that food had been prepped immediately on our call and then had sat there for 15-20 minutes until our pickup time. Food was reasonable, but the price to quantity ratio was off - everything was devoured, including the cactus leaf and all the drips of salsa - and we were still hungry, and the meal was expensive for what we got. Today I went and sat down at a table for over 5 minutes and had to go up to someone to see if we would be able to get waters. Our waitress didnt come to our table for over 15min to take our order. They were attentive and helping to everyone else (we were the only Hispanic people dining in at the moment). Not good service! I never saw the "waitress" again. I didn't feel like cooking dinner (prepping for Thanksgiving all day so I was done with cooking) and we both agreed that Mexican food sounded good. This place is just down the road from us so we decided to try it. It'll be our "go to" sit-down Mexican restaurant in the area. The food was better than the other places we've tried in the Tri-Cities. The portions were very large though so expect to take home leftovers. We tried the Tableside Guacamole. It was probably the best guac that I've ever had. I had some wonderful guac down in Mexico but it can be a bit too authentic at times down there (chapulines anyone?). My dinner was the steak fajitas. The vegetables were tender crisp, the meat was seasoned nicely and everything was sizzling hot when served. The portion was huge though. There was enough food to feed me for three days. I had the skinny margarita which was nice. No sweet and sour mix to make it taste grossly sweet. It was tart but refreshing. We'll definitely be back for meals and it seems like it would be a nice place to take guests when eating and socializing are in order. read more

Ok the carne asada was good not the best I've had but good the on site made tortillas are exceptional have not had tortillas this food since I was in Las Cruces, NM major thumbs up on tortillas. The salsa passable not much of a kick or spice and I love my salsa just not here. The margaritas ok not the best but good. The food was good, that isn't the issue. The menu is good but it's pricey. It was our first time eating there and they really took advantage of that. First of all, the silverware they brought us looked filthy and smudged with grease. We placed our order and the waitress returned with a basket of chips and some salsa. She asked us if we would like guacamole to go with our chips, we said yes. She brought up a table and made the guacamole fresh in front of us and we were really impressed. Come to find out when we got our bill, the guacamole was $8.50 and they never once told us would be an additional charge. They offered guacamole to us, we accepted. I was impressed by the classy styling of the dining room. I was even more impressed by the food and service. I loved the traveling salsa bar. I enjoyed one at the Mexican restaurant in the Vegas MGM Grand, but the quality and flavors dispensed here were far superior!! Likewise the fresh tortilla bar was a big hit. I'm a corny cheese enchilada guy and they were delicious. Fish tacos and chili rellenos enjoyed by my table mates were also tasty! We ordered top shelf margaritas and they got the job done. We had a family dinner there. The food was NOT right, even after they took it back to "refix " it... it still wasn't right and then charged for both plates. . The service sucked. They very seldom came back. Had to wait to get drinks and food. Then they charged EVERY check and extra $12 for their service and then a debit card fee. We had 6 separate checks. That's a big penny for crappy food and crappy service. There was a total of 10 people. We won't return. And we won't recommend. read more
