Great wines , amazing and uniquely crafted pizzas , friendly staff, and a great view!

Our mid day reservation was a perfect pick me up my husband and I needed during this uniquely hard time in our lives. We were immediately seated with an excellent view that exposed parted of the hills I've always wondered about, but never saw! It was a hot day but the outdoor deck ceiling kept us very shaded. Aarika was delightful and attentive, gave us wonderful recommendations! Her idea to split up the pizza flavors allowed for us to try the cherry bacon, blueberry goat, AND the red desire. They were incredible! Paired well with our wine flights which are a must. Cannot wait to be back as soon as we get a free moment. read more

We stumbled on this lovely winery through Harvest Hosts. What a gem. The owners and staff are so kind and helpful. The first evening we just had some wine as we were fighting colds. The second evening we tried their figgy bleu pizza. Yum!! It has figs, bacon, buffalo mozzarella, bleu cheese, and arugula and the cooked it to perfection in their huge pizza oven!! read more

This place was on my Benton City try list. Very nice experience here. Staff was nice, attentive, got to talk to the owner wine maker herself. Wines were terrific. Cuvee was nice and fruity white. My favorite was Red Heaven Syrah. Grapes sourced from Red Mountain which makes some of the best red wines I've ever had. Tasting room was beautiful. Clasy, bright, open room. Wines in $30-$50 bottle range. Pizza was great too. I'm coming back to try the "Macdaddy" pizza. Would come back. read more

I am so impressed with this intimate winery. The wine, especially the Vintage Merolt was super good. The food, OMG the Babs pizza, was amazing, seriously I don't think we have had a better pizza, so many amazingly delicious flavors wrapped up in one. The setting is beautiful, the decor, tables just amazing. The outdoor sitting area was super cool and they let us stay and hang our with our wine even after they closed. The view from the hill is awsome. You can't ask for much more. Loved it here! read more

One thing that you don't do as a business is accept a party of 15, sit them in a corner indoors and come tell them that they are being loud. Every single one of us ordered more than enough to make this business happy and support as much as we could. Having the owner come and say "we had a customer leave because you guys are too loud" is more than rude and not at all a way to handle a very generous party for a birthday. This is the second time I have been to this place and the owner has been very rude to me for no reason. I will not be returning. I understand that a party of 15 can be loud. But don't put us inside in a corner where we are amplified and then come and make it our problem. If your planing to come to celebrate anything, I highly recommend you don't because they will be rude to you. read more

The wood fire pizza is fantastic! We enjoyed the wine flight. Service was attentive, I didn't get the full details on each pour that I would've liked but he was very friendly. We sat inside because it was cold but we will be back for the beautiful outdoor space. read more

Rude and disrespectful employees and the manager is a prick and disingenuous. Food takes forever to be served and was overcooked. The ambiance was quiet and the bar area was busy. I would avoid dining in the restaurant location due to the inconsistency in food quality and service. read more

The wine was good but the pizza's/flatbread were fantastic! They aren't your typical pizzas and I have never tasted one so good! They even have gluten free crust! The owner was amazing! She seems to do it all, serve, cook and cashier! If it takes a bit of a wait, it's worth it! Very nice place and great views! Good place to relax and enjoy! read more

With wonderful views, and a gorgeous tasting room Anelare is one of my favorite wineries!! We became members after a few visited not only because of the more fabulous wines but also the fabulous staff! They remembered us after a few times and now most of them now know us by name. We Always love attending their release parties filled often with live music and a food truck. read more

This winery has a beautiful view! We loved their Cuvée and Nonna wines the best but they were all good. We have Harvest Host so we stayed on the property - The sunsets were magnificent! This was our second to last stop on our Valentine's day wine tasting trip. We were not impressed with our service at Anelare. The one good thing about Anelare is its location. The tasting room is located on the side of a hill which overlooks a vast expanse of valleys and hills. Our server at Anelare didn't really seem to care if we were there or not. She poured our wines, but didn't really tell us much about them or ask our opinion of them. She seemed to be far more interested in talking to other customers. The wines were decent, but certainly not good enough to merit a price tag in the $40-50 range. Maybe $25-30, but not any higher. With so many other great wineries in the area, I would not recommend trying Anelare. read more

Wonderful wine and a beautiful tasting room! The winery has one of the best views in town, as it looks out over Red Mountain. I highly recommend ordering a flat bread, getting a glass or two of the Syrah and sitting out on the deck. Doesn't get much better than this. read more

Good location. Beautiful tasting room. We went there for a private party. The food was amazing and the service was top notch.

We love this winery. It has the most amazing views from the patio and the wine is fantastic. We have been wine club members for awhile and it's our favorite place to come relax with a glass of wine and flat bread. They also have fun events with food and music with the best customer service. I highly recommend stopping at Anelare. read more

We spent a couple of days traveling around to the smaller wineries around Horse Heaven Hills and Red Mountain viticulture area. Anelare was by far the most disappointing experience. Their wines are adequate but overpriced. However, the most disappointing part of our visit was the interaction with the owner who was not only rude but condescending to our party. She was too busy trying to convince a couple book her facility for their wedding rather than assist her employee in completing our order. We quickly moved on to Terra Blanc winery where we were warmly welcomed despite the fact that they were extremely busy. I would suggest skipping Anelare and stopping elsewhere - there are much better wines in the area and definitely much friendlier and knowledgeable people to provide details about their wines! read more

My lady and I stopped at Anelare on a whim to sample Washington wine on our way to our new home on the other side of the Cascades. We had our young daughter with us. They treated her well by acknowledging her and getting her hot chocolate. Also, there were a couple of coloring books available for the under-aged. For the adults, both the wine and the rustic chic wine tasting room were nothing but pleasing. The ladies running the wine tasting bar were very fun and genuine. We enjoyed a full tasting as well as quality conversation. In a world where consumers are dollar signs and experiences are fake and contrived, we felt a breath of fresh air at Anelare. These folks produce good wine and have architected an authentic experience at their wine bar. We hope to be back soon... read more

Exceptional wine and service only topped by the breathtaking views! Uncle Earl entertains with stories of the history of the winery while new General Manager Kim greets and then educates each visitor about the unique features of the wines being tasted. There was plenty of room both inside and outside for our group to sit, sip and enjoy the views. read more

I have to say I was surprised. I grew up around Sonoma and worked in the industry for a few decades. While in town for a wedding we did some wine tasting and my friends took me to all the "big" name wineries on Red Mountain. After a long afternoon we were about to get on the highway and my friend mentioned hearing about a new tasting room on the hill. We almost couldn't find the place.The owners were closing up shop but let us in for a glass. The facility and their hospitality were amazing- they sat and talked to us for about an hour after everyone else left. Have to say the view was amazing. Wine was good, not California good- but definitely some attention to detail there. You could tell the owners had a passion for wine in an unpretentious manner, which is what I like to see in a winery/tasting room. Anyway, I would suggest to people to visit this place not just for the wine, but for the people. read more
