I've been here a few times and the service is always lacking. The first time we visited we sat outside and were basically forgotten about so I had to go inside to fetch someone. The last time I was here we sat inside and somehow our server changed without our knowledge and it took forever to order desert. The food fell short. The pizza is good, but the other seasonal dishes are lacking. The chicken dish I ordered had zero flavor... this was served with cold carrot salad and cold mango dressing which seemed odd to me. The whole dish should be hot. We also order a side dish of Romaine dipping spears, but it was bazaar and overpriced. It was basically a head of Romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing. There were two anchovies on the side with a few pickled onions and a lot of shredded parmigiana cheese and two bread sticks. It was so odd... Came in for a birthday dinner and it was delicious. They wrapped a bottle of wine in cellophane and sunflowers for a sweet touch. The food was delicious. I had the steak and husband had the lamb. Their bruschetta bread with manchego was worth every carb. Dessert was a lemon cello delight and a decadent chocolate brownie. Left 5 lbs heavier and a Happy Birthday girl. This place never disappoints! Have been going here for the last 10 years and to do this date, service, food and good wine hasn't disappointed. Wine o clock is our stop over for lunch when returning from Walla Walla. They have an open kitchen concept so you can watch the chefs make pizza and chat with them depending where you are sitting. My son has severe nut allergies and the chefs ensured to clean their utensils and pizza oven to avoid cross contamination. Most pizzas do not have nuts but there was Pesto pizza and some have cashews in them. We ordered two pizza, vivia italia and pesto. The crust was so good and toppings were fresh. Chef threw extra veggies on the pesto (farm to table concept) and it was yummy. You can watch them make your pizza as the pizza oven is also located inside. They have a great list of Brunell wines you can taste. It was hot so I got the crispy flights which was a rośe, Chardonnay and Sauvignon blanc. All the wines were refreshing and paired well with the pizza. Restaurant is very clean and service is exceptional. If in the area check this place out. read more

I finally made it back to this Prosser restaurant and am happy to say that it completely exceeded my expectations. Sat outside for an evening dinner. The ambiance was beautiful with a variety of foliage, and a few sunflower patches to compliment the setting. Misters helped cool the summer air. The handcrafted pizza was perfect to split, as was the chocolate cheesecake. A recommended bottle of semillon added to the tasteful experience. The server, Melissa, was friendly, pleasant, and helpful as were the other servers. Definitely recommend trying this place if you're in town tasting wine as it represents the Central/Eastern Washington experience at its finest. read more

Went in on a Saturday around 2pm with no reservations, got seated fairly quickly and got lucky with seats ! Weekends seem pretty busy so prepare to reserve ahead. Waiter Melissa was extremely friendly and helpful with wine selection on the menu which is very new for me. Environment is a cozy home-like setting with a beautiful garden outside. Moscato was tasty and definitely sweet! Pizza was savory, however steak bites were very chewy, definitely wouldn't recommend those. We each had a small salad and we split an entree. My friend had a glass of wine and I had a lukewarm cup of coffee. It took an unusually long time to get the check and it was over $100. I've eaten at wine o'clock several times over the years, mostly for lunch. Last weekend, we enjoyed their tasting menu dinner that they do every few months. It was delicious... and a fantastic deal. We all loved the buratta with tomatoes and nectarines... so fresh and flavorful. Then we had a pizette (small personal pizza) with cheese, pear and meat. The crust was light and fluffy and the toppings were savory. I had the steelhead and he had the steak. We both enjoyed how the protein was cooked and the fresh vegetables that came with it - a fresh salsa for him and a blueberry-corn combo with the fish. There is seating inside and outside but I highly recommend outside because you get the views of the gardens, the trees and the mountains. It's soooo relaxing. Very nice winery/restaurant in Prosser. We stopped here for lunch and sat in the lovely outdoor seating area, with shade and flowers and trees. We got the focaccia, Rhône wine flight, chef's pizza (figs, honey, prosciutto and sweet cream), pesto pizza, and lavender lemonade. The chefs pizza and wine flight were excellent. The foccacia was also very good. Two of us didn't love the pesto pizza, but one did. The lavender lemonade didn't really have a lavender flavor to it but was good. Service was friendly and attentive. Outstanding! Nestled in with Bunnell Family Cellar, Wine O'Clock is definitely the place to be for dinner in Prosser. The Goat Cheese Dip was divine but we'll all now have to wait until Fall and Winter before they serve it again. The Brisket Burger was delicious and very tasty indeed and went quite well with the Bunnell Syrah. The Risotto was cooked just right and each bite was as it should be. Wine o'Clock was recommended to us, and it definitely hit the spot. The kids weren't very hungry so they shared the cured meats tray. It had several cured meats, olives, and roasted peppers (the one child was disappointed that the menu said it had artichokes but no artichokes were on the tray). I got the charred romaine Caesar salad and Shrimp and grits. Husband got the brisket burger. Everything was tasty. It was a little weird having warm romaine for my salad, but I could tell the dressing was homemade, and it was delicious. I wouldn't have minded my shrimp and grits being a little spicier, but we all tasted it and enjoyed it! The husband devoured the Brisket Burger so fast, I'm lucky I got a picture. We showed up on a whim, on Father's Day, with our dog, and no reservation. The patio was closed, so we thanked them, preparing to look elsewhere because of the pup. We were warmly encouraged to stay. They quickly set a place for us on the patio despite it not being open. They brought water for our dog, and for us, and apologized that the service might be a little bit slow because they didn't have a dedicated outdoor server. We assured them that we were not in a rush, and we settled in, relaxing, sipping our water, and enjoying the quiet and the beautiful surroundings. They were wrong about the service, it was not slow, it was terrific. Our food arrived promptly and we were checked on by at least three different staff members during our meal. We felt spoiled with our private patio and delicious food. Hubby ordered the burger and declared it the best one he'd had in ages. My shrimp salad sandwich was light, fresh, and full of flavor. This was the last day of a four-day getaway and our favorite meal of the weekend. A truly fun and delicious lunch made extra special by the awesome service and accommodating staff. This was my first time here. My family member had been here with their sister and highly recommended it. Boy was I in for a pleasant surprise. This place is like a house with a large kitchen that you can see them cooking the food! A TV was mounted on the wall playing Julia Childs cooking show episodes. Numerous cookbooks are around. They had numerous tasteful gourds for fall decorations on tables that were such a nice touch for this time of year with leaves changing. We ordered a pizza that was amazing and we also had the mint ice cream with Baileys. They must have used actual spearmint leaves in the ice cream, it was scrumptious! This place is definitely not for young kids so please read reviews and take a look at the menu before you visit. We did have the White and Red wine flights. Wow, the Sauvignon is mind-blowingly smooth, velvety and I recommend it if you are into red wines. read more

Suzie at Two Mountain Winery told us we had to eat here if we were going to Prosser -boy, are we glad we took her advice! The restaurant is located in the center of Vintners Village, so a perfect stop for lunch or dinner. The interior is warm and inviting, and (as expected) they have tons of wines to select from to pair with your meal. We both chose a tasting flight, three wines of three ounce pours. I had a turkey sandwich on ciabatta, with a tasty green salad. Really good, I finished every bite. My wife had one of their flatbreads, and she cleaned her plate as well. I loved it here, what an amazing surprise. My DH and I are on a road trip, and decided to stop in for lunch. We arrived right at opening (noon). The grounds are gorgeous, full of flowers, herbs, etc. The patio would have been a joy had it been 15 degrees cooler. Inside, however, was not a disappointment! The dining room is large and open, and so is the kitchen. There is a wood fired oven and cookbooks everywhere, plus a large but unobtrusive TV playing old episodes of Julia Child. And of course, lots of bouquets with flowers from the garden and stained glass windows. What a charming place! We started off with the chevre and peaches. It came with grilled bread, lavender honey, and various spices to add, like a fancy pepper blend and lavender salt. Every item was delicious on its own, but combined, utter bliss! And to make matters BETTER, the chef came over a few minutes after we finished with another round of cheese and peaches as an apology for waiting so long for our pizza! (It was no time at all. But how classy!) For some reason, he gave us gluten free crackers with it (cardboard, really), but I was glad to not be tempted so I didn't fill up before the main course. Speaking of, the mains we ordered were the BLT and Chef's pizza. The BLT came with house smoked and candied bacon, local tomato, lettuce, and aioli on a ciabatta roll. Mmmm amazing. The combination of flavors was delightful but the tomato really stole the show. I could have just eaten that! The Chef's pizza had cheese, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and arugula. The half was still rather large. But, soooooo good! The crust was crisp but chewy, charred in places but not burnt, and full of fresh flavor. I cannot get over the mushrooms, they were meaty and tasty, and stood up nicely to the competing flavors. They also brought over little dishes of pizza toppings, like sea salt, red pepper flakes, and the most delicious olive oil with anchovies (omg, could have dipped the grilled bread in that, too!) A few other lovely touches: we were offered a complimentary sample of their 2017 Chardonnay as soon as we sat down. It was so good, I just ordered a glass of that instead of doing a flight (also because the flights are heavy on the red wines, and I prefer whites). Our water glasses had lemon and cucumber in them, and not once did our glasses dip below half full before they were refilled. Finally, we were given a little pitcher of hot water with lemon and a cloth napkin to wipe our hands after our meal. So many thoughtful touches! In the end, I am surprised and delighted. I will definitely return next time I am in the area. read more

The ambiance is very inviting with hostess and owner Susan Bunnell always there to welcome you in. After a day of wine tasting, they offer water with a slice of lemon and cucumber. There is also the smallest little details that mean allot to me. Fresh flowers are on every table and bathrooms are very clean and nicely decorated with double ply bath tissues. Now onto the food. One of the novelties of the restaurant is they grow their own herbs and vegetables in planter boxes outside along with fragrant lavendar and during the summer use them in their dishes. Everything on their menu tasted farm fresh. From the salads with an amazing mix of different vegetables to the hand crafted pizzas. We made reservations, late, with Susan, during a very busy weekend, but she treated it like we were the only clients. We needed to increase our guest count, and she actually had already anticipated that our original table would be too crowded. Its not often that people like Susan take this into account. The meal was a five course wine tasting list. So many options for additions, all suggested to be delicious. But dang....the meal was exceptional. We started with small amuse bouche beet tarts. Delicious light bite. This was followed by A succulent turnip/parsnip soup. Creamy and topped with a sophisticated oil. I chose the filet, medium rare. Done perfectly, perfectly seasoned. Melted in my mouth--for real. The food was delicious and well prepared. Let's be honest--we will all pay a fine price for delicious food, but sill rarely return of the service is aloof or amateur.
