Delightful tasting room and restaurant has a open concept space allowing for fun times and terrific tasting. And for the cocktailer, they have some delish cocktails! A definite stop when tasting!

I don't usually review hotels but this is such a cute and unique hotel that I thought it would be nice to review it! The hotel is very pretty and has a quite sophisticated feel. Every room has a balcony and the view is really nice. It's a very small hotel and important to mention they have no elevator. Our stay included a bottle of wine and breakfast, which is served in the bedroom and it was simple but really good! The only thing I didn't like was the bathtub/ shower. It looks nice but it is not functional at all. The curtains keep getting on the way and the shower water is all over the place with water going on all directions. Really hard to take a good shower. We booked a massage during our stay and it was very nice! But since they are very small, there was no option for couples massage.

The place is very welcoming to me. Once you open those wooden doors, you are greeted by a warm vibe. We went to try their wine flight. I'm a red kind of gal so I chose the Red Flight but they also let me try vertical tasting of my Cab between 18 and 19! I truly enjoyed my red flight. The food was also good. The service was superb. Definitely, a must try in the area.

We visited for my 49th.. late July and warm but the chilled whites and rose suites us on the shaded patio seating. Dogs not allowed inside but they are ok the porch..

Brunch event details - we got turned away

Unfortunately I have to rate this place as a one star for poor management and customer service. My mother was a member here for years and wanted to take me to brunch. Online it says no reservations and after checking out the Mother's Day brunch event there's nothing to sign up and when she called they said just show up. We got here and there was a sign out front saying reservations only, and when we said it's on the website the hostess was rude and said no it does. I've included a screenshot from their website showing that's not the case Then my mom asked to just be able to take her wine shipment home and they said no. The dining area wasn't empty and I did snoop at the wait list and they could have sat us. I'm just appalled that they would treat her like that on a holiday, lie about their website saying they require reservations, and then tried to keep the wine she ALREADY paid for. I highly recommend anyone considering a membership here to not do it. We were able to get the wine but the manager said she'd help my mother then walked away and never came back. There have to be better options - good luck and happy Mother's Day everyone.

The venue is beautiful. They have a large patio out front. The wines are okay but there's some great competitors surrounding them!

Wine and sunset from our room!

Delicious food, good wine, great service! We stopped for lunch on our way home from Boise and ended up staying the night. The room was spacious and they have thought of everything! Glassware and wine key in room, TV with streaming services, gas fireplace, Kuerig with real mugs (not paper), robes, very comfortable bed, soft towels (& many of them), small shampoo/conditioner/bar soap, body wash, and lotion, ice & microwave available for use in the hall. A FULL complimentary glass of wine at check in, red or white bottle of wine waiting in your room (also complimentary), breakfast delivered to your room in the morning (included with stay), and we watched the beautiful sunset from our balcony. No elevator (not a problem for us - but keep in mind if you can't do stairs). Winery closes at 7pm.

We had a wonderful experience! Julee served us and was fun, friendly and informative. We enjoy great wines for a reasonable price and Desert Winds was great. Beautiful tasting room! We wish they could:would allow doggies inside, but understand when wineries can't. Give them a try and we bet you'll buy some bottles too! They have gifts, and some cheese we bought to try.

Great place to stop in Prosser. This gem is right off the highway, they have a very nice wine tasting area, restaurant and cute little shop with olive oil, chocolates, spices etc.. The hostess and servers were very welcoming. I had a lunch which was one of the best on my whole trip to Eastern Washington. I had the BBQ babyback ribs which were so good. Tasted like slow smoked for hours and then just finished up with the right amount of sauce served smoking hot. So meaty and tender, 8 nice big ribs. They came with a nice apple slaw and great fritters. I also had the chef select salad with grilled romaine which went with the ribs so well. They let us do a wine tasting flight while we were eating and their dry reds are really excellent. I had so much food with the half rack of ribs that I had plenty to take with, but I had to try their berry creme brulee which was absolutely amazing.. it had big chunks of cherries in it.

Incredible Tempranillo, and literally the best Club sandwich I've ever had in my life - and I've had lots! Worth the drive!

The people that work there are more than friendly and very knowledgable about the wine (Bonnie and Jessica). The tasting room is very nicely decorated and quite large. They are dog friendly. We tasted several wines and were quite impressed with some of them. Especially for the price range. Enough so that we joined their wine club. Again reasonable prices for a wine club. Also a different way to order. They require two payments during the year. The money just sits there and you can order what you want, when you want. We like that aspect. We will be back to so some tasting there again. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours. July 2, 2025

I spoke with Gina and she was very accommodating. We had never been there before but got the wonderful surprise of, immediately upon arrival, being escorted to our "reserved" table for two right in front of where the band was going to play. We ordered a wine tasting and were able to conduct it right at our outdoor table (which was a walk for the person who brought out each wine individually and in a timely fashion). We then each ordered a glass of wine to drink during the entertainment, chose some cheese and crackers from their indoor retail refrigerator and had an experience better than we'd ever hoped for. We also purchased 4 bottles of wine (all from the tasting) which were ready for us to pick up on our way out. Wow! Thank you so much to Gina and the staff at WIT! The band was also great. Ashleigh Flynn & The Riveters. Couldn't have asked for a better time.

The mattress probably should have been replaced already, but it wasn't too uncomfortable. The water in the shower was kind of "slimy," and smelled a bit like sulfur. That really would be my only complaint. There was ample room for the dogs to use the restroom and get some exercise. The hotel is located next to some fast food options you can walk to. The complimentary breakfast was really good. They have potatoes, eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, all the other items you would expect. Plus an omelette bar. You write down what you want and it is made to order. We both felt like it was a good breakfast as far as hotel breakfast are concerned. Overall, we would recommend this place. The staff was super friendly.

My friend and I took a girls' weekend trip to check out Prosser and attend some wine-centric…read moreevents, and booked the BW because it's within easy walking distance of the wine district. It was a long drive from the big city, but the hotel was easy to find and we were greeted with a friendly smile and got all checked in. While the lobby of the hotel is fairly well decorated and updated, the rooms and hallways looked like something out of a bad 80s (or 90s?) movie? The orange and brown carpeting had almost psychedelic effects (especially after a few glasses of wine). And the room, while large and boasting essential like a microwave, fridge, and coffeemaker, was extremely dated. Everything was clean and comfortable, though, and it seems they've kept things in surprisingly good shape maintenance-wise. The thing that made the BW stand out most was the friendly staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the very kind ladies who staffed the breakfast area it was all top notch, and it's what would make me return here if I go on another wine trip. Speaking of breakfast, this place has one of the best free breakfasts I've every seen - including not only the usual waffle stand, oatmeal, and baked goods, but a full-service omelette bar and huge selection of dairy-free milk alternatives too. Well done, BW, well done!
