The owners, Greg and Shae, are passionate about their business and it shows! The tasting room is beautifully decorated. There's a story board about how they came to Washington and started Frichette. But we had our dog, so we opted to sit outside. Greg set us up in Adirondack chairs underneath the Apricot tree, so we were shaded, as it was a hot day. We were so grateful. People were commenting we looked like a magazine cover! Lol! We were greeted with a glass of rosè and opted for the wine tastings. It's $20 for 4 tastings, not including the welcome glass of Rosè. Their wines were exactly what I was looking for. Fantastic, full bodied flavor. And Shae would chat us up whenever she dropped a tasting, not just to talk about the wine, but really just chat. It felt like we already knew her! If you're ever in Benton City, definitely add Frichette to your list of wineries to visit. I know we'll be back!!!

I absolutely adore this winery: the wine, the space, the people, the food, and the community…read more The Wine: The wines are consistently amazing and are made to be aged, without the usual high price tag that comes with that. I like bold, flavorful wine, and they have that in spades. I thought I hated Merlot, for being generally weak, but Terra Blanca's Merlot is fantastic. I thought I only liked red wine, but their Albarino is now my go-to summer white wine. I thought Rose was too sugary of a wine, but their Rose has incredible flavor without heft. I'm an enduring fan of their Block 8 Syrah, but the Cab Sauv is a close second. The Space: It's gorgeous. The building is beautiful, the grounds are well-maintained, the vineyard (which you can tour at some of their events) feels old-world-meets-tech, the cellars are amazing, and everything feels welcoming. Like, I don't just want to go here, I want to spend time here. The People: The employees are wonderful: welcoming, knowledgeable, happy, humble, and it never feels like they're just trying to sell you something. They're honest and upbeat, even at times when I *know* they must be feeling rushed or stressed. It makes the whole place feel like hanging out with friends and neighbors (but in a classy way). This is *not* the kind of winery where they pour, recite a litany about the varietal, and walk away. This is the kind of winery where you can walk in and say "I know nothing about wine" and they'll be excited to take you wherever your curiosity about wine takes you. The Food: I've eaten at the Thursday happy hours, at buffet banquets, and at a tasting/pairing event. Each time the food has been delicious, unique, and well-paired. And it's all from scratch, locally grown & grazed, etc. even their charcuterie boards are lovely (and a lot...you will not leave hungry). I recommend trying the flatbread pizzas off their wood-fired grill. Oh, and the menu changes quarterly, so I've yet to get bored with anything. The Community: In addition to this place feeling like a community, and growing one with their wine clubs and virtual tasting group, they're involved in the Tri-Cities community. I love when local small businesses support each other and non-profits in the area! They have regular events and banquet fundraisers for orgs like Children's Developmental Center and TROT. Oh, the prices? I'd call them good. High enough to convey the quality, but low enough to be approachable even for people who are just starting to try wine. And they do a lot of sales and discounts throughout the year. The tasting room prices are spot-on, which keeps Terra Blanca feeling inclusive. TL;DR: Tasty wine at affordable prices, great customer service, welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, fun events

They have an onsite kitchen and is a very popular spot for wine and lunches. They are dog friendly on the patio only. You get to taste about 8 wines for $30 Or fee is waived with a purchase of any two bottles. Tasting did not disappoint from their whites to red. They have a variety for all taste buds. I loved all their Cabs. They have a mix of 100% Cab to some with Merlot and Cab Franc. All were delish and as I was tasting I kept thinking of food items these would pair well with. Of course we purchased half a case variety of red wines. Venue is super clean, great vibe and super friendly staff. Darcy and Alex were both amazing. We will definitely be going back here when in the area.

This is one of my favorite wineries in the whole Yakima valley! I highly recommend a visit here…read more In the land of Bordeaux varieties, it is very refreshing to find a place specializing in Italian wines. They are delicious wines and I look forward to pairing them with everything from frozen pizza to risotto at home. The service is great and the servers are very knowledgeable about their wines and how best to pair them. Even though there were other people there, I felt like I never lacked personal attention to what I was interested in. As soon as we parked our car, it felt like we were transported to Tuscany. The indoor ambiance felt warm and inviting, but the outdoor view is breath taking. It's definitely a place to spend the afternoon with friends and bottles of wine especially if they have events. The charcuterie plates have cheeses that I've never seen at wineries before. The fact that they are open every day of the week has been nice to recommend to people who are visiting since so many are not open Monday-Wednesday. A+ to Chandler Reach!

We showed up a little late for our reservation, but you'd never know it by the way the staff greeted us. Everything was already set up and ready to go--no rush, no attitude, just genuine hospitality. That's actually one of the reasons we keep coming back: every visit feels effortless. The team knows their wines, they listen to what you like, and they guide you without ever making you feel out of place. The tasting room itself is beautiful--clean lines, warm wood, a modern Northwest feel. It's the kind of space where you can actually relax and enjoy yourself instead of feeling like you're in a tourist factory. You've got art on the walls, polished floors, and even those wooden kayaks that make you stop and stare for a second. It sets the tone before the first pour even hits the glass. And the wines... always on point. Whether you're into a silky dessert ice wine that tastes like it should be illegal, or you love those strong, bold reds that Kiona is known for, there's something here for every kind of palate. If you want a place that consistently delivers great wine, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere where you can actually unwind... Kiona is one of the best spots in the Tri-Cities area. Since we had our dog with us, we opted to sit outside. Luckily, it's a covered patio, so although it was a hot day, it could have been worse if we had direct sun, and the view of the vineyard on Red Mountain is phenomenal! We were greeted with a glass of rosè, and opted for tastings. There are 3 tastings for $20 (not counting the welcome glass), with generous pours. The fee is waived with bottle purchase of $30. I opted for mostly cab or cab blends. Honestly, I didn't care for the wine. I was actually disappointed as so many people have raved about Kiona. The best thing I tasted was the rosè. Maybe I chose the wrong wines to taste, but I'm not sure I'd buy Kiona wines. On the flip side, the staff were absolutely great! And the tasting room is gorgeous, and if the views are your thing, and you enjoy their wine, definitely pay Kiona a visit.

We had a reservation, and not only was our table ready, but they happily let us switch to the couches instead. Honestly, that made the whole night. After a long week of work and kids, sinking into a comfortable couch with my wife and a glass of wine felt perfect. The staff here is incredibly knowledgeable -- the kind of people who can explain the vineyards, the blends, and the story behind the wine without ever overwhelming you. For a nerd like me, that's a huge win. You can tell they know their craft and they genuinely enjoy sharing it. The wines themselves were excellent. Fidelitas leans heavily into those bold, Bordeaux-style reds, and every pour had depth and personality. If you're a red wine person, this place is basically a playground. Now the snacks... WOW. If you go, order the maple pecan dates. Just trust me. They're decadent, warm, chewy, sweet, nutty -- honestly better than pecan pie. One of those bites where you stop talking mid-sentence because your brain needs a second to process how good it is. The other small bites were great too, but the dates are the star. Overall, our experience at Fidelitas was relaxed, modern, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. Great wine, great staff, comfortable atmosphere -- and those dates alone are worth the drive. Highly recommend.

I have a 4 & 6 year old and they were entertained the whole time! It was a breath of fresh air for all of us. Our adventure started with eye smiles being greeted by the friendliest staff! They had customized sign for myself and the family. our fire pit and carriage ride were ready! We were able to leave our s'more fixings and hot cocoa at our reserved fire pit. They provided complimentary hot cocoa. There was wine, organic soaps, Christmas wreaths and Christmas trees all available at a very low cost. The carriage ride was spectacular! We brought a blanket along because it can get very cold, but nothing unbearable. We were able to see the wide open views. We could see Miles and miles of vineyards and wildlife. Our tour guide Suzy had so much knowledge and she was just so friendly. She gave stories about the surrounding lands and knowledge on winemaking. What a gem she is to the whole operation! Our carriage ride lasted about 25min and it was worth the $40 for the four of us. After our carriage ride we were able to settle down right next to the coziest fire pit. We had chairs and tables provided for our belongs. Wood would brought to us constantly and we were checked on frequently. Bathrooms were available and were able to sit there over an hour.
