    Priest & Profit Pinot Noir.

Passing through Washington headed to California, we stopped a few hours ago to purchase a bottle of wine for our Oregon hostess where we are laying over for the night. Finally arriving in Bend, Oregon, we are exhausted but presented our hostess with this bottle of Priest & Profit Pinot Noir. She pops the cork and immediately says "this wine is corked." There is sediment all over the bottle and the wine is bitter. So embarrassed!!

Had a flight and throughly enjoyed it. Friendly and informative people. Great wine flight. Cute gift store in the place. Gave us great recommendations for other places to try wine.

Great selection of wine and related gift items. The food is really tasty, and the owner Anita works her tail off taking care of everyone. Today the Fiesta chicken soup was exceptional! By-the-glass selection changes often, so return visitors get to keep trying new wines. Also, there's a bonus view to the north into Franklin county. Great spot in Kennewick to relax with a glass of wine & tapas.

We stopped in for a glass of wine and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the selection and the great flavors of the food!

I ordered a glass of white wine, which was cold and good. My friend ordered a wine slushy which was reportedly also good and not too sweet. We ordered a hot honey and brisket pizza and an order of chicken empanadas. Both were excellent. The empanadas were a slight bit overdone but not to the point of being gross at all. The pizza was the star and I would order it again without second thought and will likely do so next time and also try a different pizza. The pizza was seriously good folks. For one person, plenty of food and with the empanadas it was plenty snack for two. Basically nothing bad to report here. 21 and over only. The deck outside looks really nice if the weather is cooperative. Cheers

We'll definitely be back. Probably more than we should.

Located on the first floor of the Lodge at Columbia Point - right off the lobby and facing the…read moreparking lot - with an understated and "ahhh..."-some relaxing vibe this is a good place to start, finish or be your evening. In the three nights we were guests at the Lodge we visited Vine every night. That was a result of the friendly welcome the bartender, Paige, gave us on the evening of our arrival plus the fantastic cocktails she mixed that we took out to sip in front of the fire in the Lodge's "living room" while we waited on our reservations for dinner at Drumheller's upstairs. On the second night we stopped in Vine to get glasses of wine to enjoy in our room after a long day of exploring the area and dinner out. And on the third evening it felt like 'coming home' to enjoy Vine for a couple of delicious cocktails along with good eats from a small bar-plates menu to share as dinner with Dustin providing great service to take orders and deliver the food as prepared by Drumheller's upstairs. (As "PS", the Drumheller's full dinner menu can also be used in the Vine bar.) When we were tallying up "favorite things" from the trip, both my husband and I had Vine on the top-5 list. (The others? Tasting at Kiona winery when founder John Williams popped in and we had a chance to say "thank you, sir" to this now octogenarian who put Red Hills AVA on the map, the hospitality of all the Lodge staff, walking the paved river trail accessed right outside the lodge back patio, and our 'welcome to town' lunch at Dovetail Joint.) Paige's hospitality and mixology skills made us fans of Vine but also the overall "exhale" ambiance. Nicely bright in early evening from big glass doors at front, dimly lit at night but not dark, standard height tables that work for everyone (including me as I have MS and cannot boost myself onto high stools) with plenty of 'elbow room' around them as well as seats at the bar for people who choose to sit there - like the nice guy we met on our first night who said he comes to Vine when in town on business to enjoy wine from the interesting by glass selection. It looks like they have table seating on a small outdoor patio in front - right off the parking lot - in warm weather months. This is not the frantic, sardine-can-tight, booming sound, high-density high stool tables of other venues of which there are many in the area. This is the harder to find gem of "all are welcome here" setting to take a breath and have conversations with your companions - as some were - or be comfortable as a solo guest working on something as you sip and dine - as we noted others were on all nights. In addition to serving Vine customers, Paige is pouring wine and mixing cocktails for the guests dining at Drumheller's upstairs as servers send down orders and them down to Vine to pick them up to take them back...so she is making it look pretty effortless to handle the dining room too that "Vine alone" guests don't necessarily know are also being served via this bar. PRODUCT: Great craft cocktails for standards or from a specialty menu. An array of spirits that include some from NW distilleries that are likely new to you and about which Paige knows a lot. I note in some Drumheller reviews folks mentioned disappointment that their fav (inevitably described by them as 'top shelf') liquor wasn't available to use in their fav cocktail. The same happened to me for a gin drink and I let Paige be my guide for the local distiller options and the outcome was luscious. If you're looking for wine, the selection here by glass and bottle is excellent and Paige can answer your questions about them and make recommendations. Ditto for the beer offerings. OPEN TO ALL: If you're not a guest at the hotel, you can still visit and enjoy Vine. But we sure did appreciate it was such a 'short commute' from Vine to our room upstairs as guests of the Lodge. PARKING: Ample amount in private lot. ACCESSIBILITY: Standard height table seating, ample clear floor space, three accessible (and gender neutral) loos right off lobby. HH: Some discount on libations and small plates menu from 4:00 (opening) - 5:30 and again from 9:00 - 10:00. TIP: If the gochujang glazed cauliflower is on the small plates / bar menu when you visit, order that dish. And also try Paige's new and luscious "Cold Brew" cocktail. You're welcome! ;-)

There are high top tables and cozy gathering spots. I appreciated the effort put into making the space inviting with colorful chairs, good lighting, and festive conversation areas. We had a long list of wines from which to select. My husband was better at asking good questions than I after our long day of travel, but we both ended up choosing flights of nice wines to sample. Of the 6 we tried, I think our favorite was the Albariño white. All were good, and we also really enjoyed the reserve Malbec. We noshed on the pesto Brie and the fig jam flatbread to accompany our wine. The flatbread came with goat cheese which we can go either way for us. This goat cheese seemed mild and our server recommended a drizzle of balsamic to balance it out. Great suggestion! The icing on top of our visit was our server - whose name unfortunately can't recall. When we asked for recommendations for other local wineries to visit, she offered to make us a list and wrote the down for us. Above and beyond kindness! We'd come here often if we were locals and I highly recommend this establishment to those visiting the area. Cheers!

She's a member here and I understand why. The service, the wine, the atmosphere- all were so great. They have created a very nice space with cozy nooks and chic decor. We sat on the blue velvet couches tucked away along the window. As we perused the menu, we decided between a mix of flights. They were doing a few blind flight tastings that I didn't partake in, but my co-worker and client did. They brought out three wines and you got a little card that would reveal which was which. What a creative idea! All the wines we enjoyed were absolutely delicious! I can be a little particular about what I like, but these were great and absolutely matched my palette. Although we didn't order any, they also had a lot of yummy food options and the baked brie and goat cheese both smelled delicious. Service was so sweet and so attentive. The staff was very friendly! This was an excellent tasting room experience and I hope to get to go back soon!

We had a reservation, and they had our table ready the moment we walked in -- comfortable, well-placed, and perfect for conversation. The staff here deserves a shoutout. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful when it came to picking drinks and explaining the menu without rushing us. They gave us that perfect balance of attention and space. First up: the chicken tortilla soup. This thing was flavorful, comforting, and packed with that slow-cooked, homemade taste. Honestly, it was delicious as-is, but a couple slices of avocado would seriously take it to the next level. Still -- a great start. Now the paella... WOW. A good size portion, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly -- not mushy, not dry -- and honestly better than what I've had at a lot of dedicated Spanish restaurants. The mix of seafood and chicken was generous, the seasoning was bright and warm, and every bite hit exactly how paella should. It was the star of the night. We paired everything with sangrias, and they were fantastic -- refreshing, not overly sweet, and just the right complement to the meal. The berry sangria especially worked ridiculously well with the paella. Overall, Tagaris gave us a solid, memorable dinner. In reality, it's a raw cabbage taco with a hint of fish essence--or perhaps a cabbage taco with a fish surprise, if you're lucky. After she gave up and ate just one, she brought the rest home. I actually measured the piece of fish inside: a staggering 1.5 inches by 1 inch. That was it. One single, tiny nugget per taco, buried at the very bottom of the shell. Because of this, you have to choke down several mouthfuls of completely raw cabbage before you finally reach your single bite of fish. To make matters worse, that one bite of fish was terrible. They apparently brine it in a way that leaves it aggressively, unpalatably salty. While the menu claims the taco comes with "slaw," it is just heaps of dry, raw cabbage. There was so much of it that you couldn't even see the three corn tortillas until you went digging through the vegetation. The sheer lack of seafood in a "signature" fish dish is appalling. Save your money--unless you really, really love overpriced plates of shredded cabbage.
