We were looking for a nice breakfast place & we happen to see this. We were pleasantly surprised by the inside. It was clean & tasteful. The coffee came fast & hot. We ordered the pancake breakfast included were 2 fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, eggs over easy done perfectly & corn beef hash made crunchy outside & soft inside. The service was very good. Randomly selected this place and was shockingly pleased. It's a very simple basic place. Nothing fancy. I don't know about you, but 90 degrees + 11:20 am + covered patio is greater than freezing cold air conditioned booths. FANTABULOUS. Ordered the chorizo scramble which came with two piping hot tortillas, half an avocado, and hash browns. It was delish!! Boyfriend ordered club sandwich and he was oh so impressed because it was a real club, you know, the kind with three slices of white bread. The waitress was really sweet and even though we were the only peeps out on the patio, she was very attentive and great about refilling our beverages. When I arrived for a late dinner (7:30 PM), I was seated immediately, and given the special & full menus. My drink was served within 3 minutes, and my order was taken just a few minutes later. I wanted something that was not on the menu, so they special made it for me, a hot roast beef sandwich, the pricing was about what I expected to pay. although they do not have s senior menu, they do offer a 10% Senior discount. My boyfriend found this place a few Wednesdays back, and claimed the lunch special (some chicken sandwich) was amazing. He went two weeks in a row and on week three he took me along. This place is weird. The inside is incredibly tacky, and so were the waitresses- wearing tight black mini skirts shorter than their aprons! It was like walking into a strip club or something. Very inappropriate. So I sat down, looked at the menu, ordered a caesar salad (which, by the way, is spelt 3 different ways throughout the menu) thinking it was a safe bet, and waited for my food. I guess I ordered wrong, because I got a little lettuce with my dressing. The lettuce was seriously swimming in the what tasted like italian dressing. I had three bites and was sick of it. I ate my boyfriends fries for lunch. He said his sandwich had gotten worse each week, and apologized for taking me to such a place. We will not be going back. read more

Stopped by for dinner, no other customers were in the restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and quick. The problem was having to listen an off duty waitress (Ryan) ramble on in a very loud voice all about herself, her other boss at another restaurant. If you're going to advertise a coupon you should honor it when people come and eat. We just had lunch with a group of co-workers and the owner didn't want to accept the coupon we had brought in. They have decent food but they are miserable to dine at. I don't eat eggs, so there is no way for me to eat a breakfast that will satisfy hunger for anything less than $20. They refuse to do substitutions even if the substitution you are asking for is cheaper than what you are getting rid of. It costs me $13 to get 1 English muffin and 2 slices of bacon which isn't going to hold any adult over for more than an hour. If you want pancakes and bacon and hashbrowns but no eggs you basically have to order two meals but ask them to not give you what you're actually paying for. Idk why I've come here more than once. Never again because of their shitty no substitution policy that isn't posted on their menu so you don't know until you've already sat down and tried to order read more

Stumbled across this resturant and LOVED IT!! Staff is friendly and efficient. We had a very large party and ordered a wide variety off of the menu from breakfast to seafood to burgers. This a a throwback to the past, when small town diners were THE place to meet and eat! Don't be put off by the unassuming, bland storefront. We searched online for a comfortable place to meet up with family who lived in the area, and decided to try this cafe, based on previous reviews online. We were not disapointed! The have a extensive menu, and all of it is prepared to order. Our group all ordered a different dish - veggie burger, cheeseburger, chicken salad and quesadillas, and shared a couple of sides. All were very tasty, and served with good presentation. The potato salad is excellent, and the fries were not greasy - almost like homemade fries. It was a birthday celebration, and the house policy is to give the birthday person a free piece of chocolate cake. It was very, very good! We also tried the vanilla ice crean and Fudge Fudge brownie, and loved it, too. The environment is, as I said, comfortable. Although we were there for lunch, our server said breakfast and lunch were their busiest meals. Oh yes, our server. She was great. Couldn't have been nicer and very attentive. Our water glasses were re-filled several times and she was easy to talk with. All in all, this was a really pleasant experience, and we would go back again, and will look forward to doing so. read more

What a wonderful surprise this place was. We were traveling along the 101 and got hungry. We found this place on The main drag. Some outdoor seating and inside many booths and tables. Menu was expansive with breakfast items sandwiches and salads. Our server took our drink order right off and then told is on the nights special which was rib eye steak mashed potatoes fresh veggie and soup or salad for $12.95. Salad was fresh. Blue cheese and rad eerie vinaigrette were good. Steaks came out as ordered rare. Broccoli and carrots were fresh and not over cooked. We had stopped here for some early dinner on our vacation. Once we walked in the waitress had escorted is to the back where obviously our service dog would not have room to lie down. So we asked to sit some where less crouched. Next we took our seats & ordered our drinks. We had two soft drinks, two coffees, & a lemonade. My daughter had asked for creamer & had not recived any until her food came out. Speaking of food my granddaughter had ordered a burrito & asked if she knew the sauce was on the side or not because she can't have spicy food. The waitress had said she didn't know & once it came out her food was covered in salsa. During the time we understood that she didn't give is a definite answer but that didn't give her an excuse to to find out. In turn my granddaughter didn't want to waste food & tried eating half of it which have her a stomach ache. So we asked if instead she could just get a quesadilla nothing but cheese & our waitress came back with another meal instead yes there was a quesadilla but she didn't want an entire plate of food. Finally once we were finished we had to go up & paid for EVERYTHING. It was decided she didn't deserve a tip due to her rude behavior & the absence of her responsibilities as waitress. a cute little family style restaurant in ukiah. a lot of variety on the menu, everything from american style to mexican and italian, and some middle eastern food too now. i tried the tabbouleh, which is a salad made of parsley, tomatoes, cucumbers, some other things i cant remember,and a zesty lemony dressing. and on the topic of salads,all the dinner salads here are really big. i had some of my friend's taco salad and it was delicious. the meat was just spicy enough and the salsa was sooo good--the waitress told me they make it in-house. we dont go through ukiah a lot but this place is definitely worth stopping by again if we're ever in the area. read more
