Denver Omelette with jalapeños...

Large portions, very tasty. Highly recommend this place. I will eat there again. Wish they were open Sunday's.

You could knock on the plate with these sausages that I was served.

It used to be a favorite spot for breakfast on the weekends. However today I was extremely disappointed with the food. I understand the waitress doesn't cook the food however, I would hope that they take a look at the plate before they serve it. I ordered sausage and eggs with crispy hash browns and whole wheat toast eggs over medium. It arrived with almost burnt sausage crunchy potatoes that were not crispy just undercooked and eggs that still had that white snotty looking stuff on the top.

great and efficient service, generously portioned burritos. loved that the tortilla of the burrito was toasted and the tater tots were still crispy, so it wasn't soggy or greasy like many other breakfast burritos

Let me first start with the feel and look of this place. When you walk in it feels very like home. You walk in and everyone feels so welcoming. Bright smiles and just an amazing atmosphere. The owner Jason & his wife were the ones serving us & they are just amazing. So what you're really here for is the food. OMGEH let me just express to you that I pretty much go to any diner or breakfast spot and I always order biscuits & gravy. The ones here are far by the best I have EVER had. I can't say this to my dad, but I think they are even better than my dad's biscuits & gravy. So if you are looking for great food come here. Everything was amazing. Even the country fried steak. Thank you for your hospitality & amazing food!

Finally stopped for breakfast, and what a great choice. Small place, simple diner atmosphere. Family owned and operated. The biscuits and gravy were great! The owner/chef stopped by the table (it was well after the rush - he had a little time to visit). Posted new menu items, to reflect current prices. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely delicious breakfast burrito highly recommend the bitching burrito.

Highly recommend this restaurant. The bitching breakfast burrito was insanely good. I will be back again.

Interior

This is a normal level place set in a typical ukiah location. So, simply, nothing special. The food is ok, kind of like Denny's. The service is a bit weird as some of the waitresses give zero fu*ks about fair and honest service. Some just cater to their favorite diners (friends, lovers, family) while giving others very poor and limited service. Not all of them though, which is their saving grace. When I go, I go out of default.

We had breakfast on a Saturday morning. The place was busy. It took a long time before the waitress even noticed us. Once seated we had to wait a long time to get menus, then the same to order. By the time our food came over an hour had passed. The food was unremarkable. My omelette was mediocre at best. My wife's french toast was only OK. It took forever to get refills on water and to get our check. Frankly, there are better places in town.

Chicken fried steak and gravy with scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy.

Small, local place for breakfast or lunch. Big servings and extremely fast service. I mean, 10 minutes and our meals were served. We had Denver omelette and chicken fried steak, with hash browns and homemade biscuits. They close at 1:00, so get there early.

Best chicken-fried steak I've ever had.

Someone told me to sit where I wanted so I headed outside. A waitress asked me what I wanted to drink and I told her that "I don't know what you have." After a brief wait the menus arrived. Having gluten allergies and not being able to eat raw vegetables, I had some challenges. The waitress was very helpful in recommending the BLT sandwich... I haven't had a BLT in a long time and it was OUTSTANDING! I really needed to eat some vegetables...I asked if I could order the grilled veggies but not on a sandwich (there was a grilled veggie sandwich). No problem! A side of grilled veggies! I also ordered an iced tea. This food was the most delicious I've had in a LONG time! The sandwich was perfectly toasted (lettuce and tomatoes were my treat for the day), the grilled vegetables were delicious and NOT dripping in butter or sauce...just plan!!!, and the iced tea was dark and perfectly unsweetened! Absolutely delicious!!!

When inquired about waiting, staff suggested waiting for an available table inside or dining outside. We opted to dine outside, where two tables were pushed together, one of which was noticeably uneven, resulting in us separating the tables. Despite the outdoor temperature being 80°F, the heaters above us were on, prompting us to request they be turned off, which led to complaints from other patrons. As a 33-week pregnant individual, I became overwhelmed, started crying, and stepped away. Shortly after, a staff member approached, asking if we were ready to order, despite being aware of the circumstances. We chose to leave without dining. Due to this experience, I will not be returning, which is unfortunate, as I genuinely enjoy their food.

The service was amazing from start to finish. I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and veggies, which also came with a salad, and everything was cooked perfectly. I was quite surprised at the hike in prices since our last visit, but recognize that everyone is using this opportunity to raise prices. My husband ordered the baby back ribs and I ordered the 4 piece fried chicken dinner. My fried chicken was so overcooked and dried out, I could barely eat it. And the vegetables felt like they had been waved at a heat source and put on the plate raw! My husband's ribs were quite tough on the outside to the point of having to leave the outside two ribs and just eating the inside ribs. Paying $60 for two dinners (no drinks except water) is bearable if the food is edible. This was not. The waitress took our orders, brought the food, never checked in on us throughout the meal and never asked us how our food was (I would have told her if she had asked). Sorry, Stars, another unhappy customer. I agree with Nate R. I do want to support local small businesses, but they have to be worthy of support.

Twas a solo, business trip on a Friday night, so I was able to experience this place on full, local display. Sat at the sushi bar and I was able to watch the chef make my Oco personally. The only reason I left a star out is because as I sat at one of those bar spots, I was exposed to the back side of the deep fryer so not only was it warm but it was a touch scummy. It needed to be cleaned thoroughly. (To me that something you expect in Japanese culture is the expected cleanliness.) The service was not bad, perhaps not top notch, maybe due to the fact it was a full house with tables turning over. Overall well done and I will return.
