The food was really good. The ambiance was actually chill and relaxing. Prolly due to the timing of our visit. A Wednesday at 13:30. However, I assume they were busier than anticipated as groups were waiting in the foyer to be seated for quite a bit. All hand were on deck to ensure positive service was offered but I did notice a couple of groups tire of waiting and they left. Double edged blade.... Good food and service draws good crowds. Planning our next visit. If they would just add a Centipede game, my wife would eat there daily.

Stop #77 on our Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Brewery Tour Personable Servers - tasty brews & delicious food... The shrimp & grits was fantastic - layers of flavor with a puckery punch to the tastebuds. I'll be trying to replicate this one at home. Need I say more?

Birthday dinner flight?
Jason R.

Went in for my birthday and was pleasantly surprised. Cool modern tavern and brewery feel with big windows looking into the actual brewery, and a stellar arcade! Tried a flight of beer that was pretty good, most of the samples were tasty. Our server was very nice, helpful and promptly took care of whatever we needed. We had the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, the slider trio and the Salmon Bacon and Avocado sandwich. The Chicken sandwich was really good! The bread was nice and soft, lightly toasted and the chicken was crispy and covered in sauce. The fries were great!! The Slider trio was probably our least favorite. The burgers were kind of bland and very dry. I wasn't too impressed. The Salmon was cooked and seasoned well. Overall I was happy with the meal and the restaurant. I'd definitely go back!

Jerk dry rub wings.

Great experience. Sat on the patio and was had the brisket dip sandwich and the jerk wings dry seasoning. The food was dynamic. The old fashions were fantastic and for $9. Can't beat that. The area is a fun time.

This is a fun spot. The games are great and nostalgic. I love the pinball machines. I started at the bar and enjoyed a couple small pours of their sours. I Want the Fruit is pretty tasty. It's definitely fruity and berry forward with a nice tartness. Mi Amigo is great and truly tastes like a margarita but without the tequila. After moving to a table, I enjoyed the Bonfire Dance Party. It's a good POG IPA with nice fruity flavors and a touch of pine. I also had the Hop Architect. This is a very approachable West Coast IPA. It has all the flavors you expect; however, not much bitterness. I had the mushroom and arugula flatbread for dinner and it was delightful. Stop by, play some games and have a pint!

I think 3/5 stars is fair for this place. The wife and I went with a bunch of family to this spot recently and was promptly seated (made reservations in advanced). The restaurant was pretty big and had a decent list of items on the menu. I got myself a 10 oz pour of their hop forward IPA (don't remember the name), and that was actually pretty good. We ended up getting a wedge salad with honey mustard dressing on the side a salmon, BLTA with sweet potato fries and a Caprese flatbrea. The flatbread was OK. The BLT was actually pretty good but the fries were not really that good and considering it was a three dollar upgrade it was definitely not worth it. The salad was actually decent, but they forgot to put the dressing on the side and so it was a little overdressed. The price was kinda high for what it was and is the reason for the three stars. There's three items plus a 10 ounce pour ended up being over $60. It was nice to try it out, but I don't think I'll be coming back.

My husband and I came in after visiting Activate around the corner. Our server was super friendly and prompt, and very patient while we hemmed and hawed over the menu. We ended up going with the cheese curds and 2 lbs of wings, 1/2 buffalo 1/2 sweet Thai chili. The wings were excellent- loved both sauces, as well as the house made blue cheese and ranch dressing (I seriously considered asking if I could take a bottle home it was so good). The drinks were less exciting. We had the Polar Bear in Denial, which was good but not great. The rest of the cocktails followed a similar pattern- we tried a mule, the old fashioned, the rum punch and the spice over ice. The old fashioned was probably the best out of the drinks we tried. It had a cinnamon taste in the beginning that was different and good. The spice over ice has a strong jalapeño flavor that overtook all the other flavors, not my favorite. Saving the best for last, there's an arcade! On Thursdays they run 50 cent pinball, which we took full advantage of and loved. Happy hour from 3-6 on weekdays runs some decent deals as well. I adore the old school mural of Nintendo figures, as well as the neon. Overall I loved the food and arcade, which more than made up for the mid level drinks. We will be back for sure

Music Bingo and Beer

Who doesn't love bingo? This is a large place so great for big parties. The food was tasty and the service was awesome! The chicken Caesar wrap was good but came on a spinach wrap which isn't my favorite so I'd say 8/10. Their cheese curds are amazing!!

Good food and beer but they don't let you hear the world series, played bad music even after the nuggets game.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT go here. The food is absolutely disgusting- everything came out burnt and within minutes of ordering.

We shared all the main meals between each other and it was delicious! But the server is what made us want to come back every week from now on, JD was the absolute best! Our waitress was amazing - friendly, made great recommendations, and talked us through the menu, answer all of our questions thoroughly. We ordered the streak tartare app, clearly a staff favorite and they put a unique twist on the standard dish with mushrooms and a divine Dijon mustard sauce. The bread was baked to perfection - crunchy but soft all at the same time. My friend got the salmon, cooked to medium and I got the Jamaican jerk chicken which was not very spicy and contained a lot of flavor. The mango chutney and green mojo combo was complex and paired well with the chicken. My friend devoured she salmon so one can only assume it was delicious! I would highly recommend if you are looking for a date night or dinner with a friend and you're in the Broomfield area, Hickory and Ash is the spot!

I heard this was a fan favorite and while it was delicious, I wasn't too impressed. It was cooked well but the batter was a bit thick on the outside. I do appreciate the sauces being on the side rather than drizzled all over. I also opted for steamed broccoli instead of fries that it normally comes with. The 2 dip and tenders is a perfect appetizer for a family of 4 and was fantastic for our 1 year old! She loves anything dippable and with a side of chicken tenders - can't go wrong! The Honey Butter croissants are complimentary but you have to request them! They will bring out 1 for each person at the table. Not sure if this is a secret or not, but this should've be!

We waited maybe about ten minutes before receiving the text that our table was ready. The place was loud with all the conversations at the various tables and then the music on top of it made it hard to hear the person next to you. The server was pretty disappointing and M.I.A. most of the time. Didn't offer to refill our water, only refilled my father's coffee once, and we had to ask for items. The table next to us, with the same server, asked for silverware, but the server never came back so they had to ask someone else. The server spent a lot of time up at the bar hanging out with the other employees and wasn't particularly friendly with the patrons. In addition when the runner brought out the food, his wording sounded like he was delivering the wrong food which created a miscommunication and he got miffed, lost his patience and left requiring the server to come back and sort it out. It ended up that everything was fine but didn't really appreciate the attitude when trying to understand what he was saying. I order a latte and they burned the milk making it bitter and barely drinkable. I order the Protein Trio Omelette with a pancake instead of the toast. Which is an extra fee. The omelette was good and not over cooked like many restaurants do. The proportions were huge, so much so that I had a whole meal for leftovers. The omelette came with a nice pile of hashbrowns. The pancake was okay but I felt like the maple syrup was false advertising. The menu says its real Vermont maple syrup but it taste like regular diner syrup. Overall it wasn't bad and I would go back, although it's a bit pricey and the staff isn't all that friendly.
