Gave Will a Call. He answered immediately. Let me ask some questions by just listening. Gave me a quote nowhere else could beat!! Loved his shop. Great guy!! EXTREMELY RUDE! I gave them a phone call to get an estimate on how much it would cost to get a new key programmed, the guy on the phone started to make fun of me?! saying stuff like "clearly you need english lessons" and " you don't know what your calling about". The most rude and belittling person i have ever spoken to. Go to AABS key service if you need help they were kind and respectful unlike this place. read more

I gave my cousin a spare key to my car to hold, just in case I get locked out. After 2 years, I learned that she somehow misplaced it. I contacted Honda, I was quoted $260 for the key and another $150 to program. I assumed they were my only choice because it was a Honda key and it was one of those fancy press-to-start FOB keys.. :( I vented my frustration to a friend, who talked to another and I ended up contacting Will. My first phone call to Will I had tons of questions. From the phone call I felt he was uninterested but I thought to myself I really needed this key made at an affordable price so deal with it. Will advised me he does not carry the key parts, but recommended I buy online at Amazon (or even see Honda for the key.) After I purchase the part he could cut and program the key. A week later, my key arrived from Amazon and I gave Will another call. Will didn't really have an appointment system, I just told him I'll be there around 5:15pm. He didn't take a name or my number so I showed up. His shop is a little difficult to find. It looks like it's in a residential turned to industrial area. Will has a sign out so I just took the stairs up and rang the bell. He was very kind and friendly despite my initial thoughts about him on the phone. Will had my key cut and programmed in 20 minutes, which is super convenient for me as I came after a long day at work :) Overall I spent $160 with the parts and labor included, not a bad deal at all guys! read more

I went there cause his location was convenient for me and he was the only one I didn't have to make an appointment with and he was also recommended by Monks. I walked in there not knowing how much it was gonna be. I showed him my ignition lock and told him what I wanted done. He said he could do it and I told him I would come back, before I walked away I asked him how much it was gonna be. I was surprised on the price he game me. Will's Lock & Key - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Location is obscure but great service and great prices! I recently bought a motorcycle and I only got one key with it. I was paranoid about losing my one key so I set out to get spares made. Well dealerships always charge a ridiculous amount for this kind of stuff so I hit up some local locksmiths. Nobody I went to had the right kind of blanks, including Will but he told me to order online and bring in the blanks. I was able to get 2 blanks online for about $3, and he cut them for me for $5. Took me longer than I wanted to get my spares but got em for the right price! (It was for an 09 HD Sportster btw) read more

just called simply asking for a key estimate (was referred to them by another locksmith company) and the person who answered the phone had the audacity to tell me that i was frustrated and to come down to his shop tomorrow to explain further. for the record, I was NOT frustrated or angry, just trying my best to explain to him what was told to me by the other locksmith. so very rude of you to ASSume that i was frustrated when i was calling to potentially give you business. great customer service (both on the phone and in person) is KEY. best you work on it will's. read more

Will is friendly and helpful. I brought him an uncut and un-programmed transponder key. NO ONE on the island would cut it for me. But Will, will! :) He only charged me $25. What a deal. So after losing my key to our 2014 Toyota Rav4, I thought I could go to any locksmith to get a spare. We called a couple of places that were close to where I lived but found out we have the newer type of keys that are micro-chipped and because of this, the average locksmith is unable to make a copy. I went ahead and contacted my Toyota dealership in Kalihi and first, they said I had to make an appointment and the earliest available would have been two months from the day I inquired. Second, I asked how much it would cost and they quoted me over $400! I asked the consultant if he knew of other reputable places outside of Toyota that could help me but he said he didn't know... (of course they are trained to say that lol). I immediately scroll through Yelp and start researching and come across "Will's Lock & Key". My boyfriend calls him and Will tells us to come straight down and he can help us out, no appointment necessary. Will is located in the industrial area of Kalihi just off of Nimitz Hwy so it's not the most convenient location if you are a townie like me but it is totally worth the drive! (He is also located across the street from Alicia's Market - famous for their delicioius poke and crispy porkso that's always another reason to drive to this area!!!). Once we arrived and navigated our way up some stairs to his little shop on the second floor, he was very friendly and welcoming. We told him we couldn't believe the quoted price we got from Toyota and he was kind enough to explain to us the difference with a regular metal key and the newer micro-chipped keys. We ended up paying $125 for a new key and having it reprogrammed but he let us know that if we purchase our own key online (ebay or Amazon), he can just charge us for the reprogramming. I will definitely go back to Will for all of my key issues and recommending others to go as well :) read more

I will always go back for all of my future key/lock needs! I needed to have my Lexus car key reprogrammed, and called Lexus dealership, where they told me it was going to cost me $600! They themselves referred me to Will, and that tells you, that he is very respected by a car dealership such as Lexus. They said he can for sure do the job and it will cost less! Boy were they right! My cost was very reasonable, but the most important factor is, his kind professionalism! After 10 minutes my problem was solved, and after being around such a sweet person, it just made my day! If you need a new chipped key, this is the place to go!!! My bf and I came here to get a spare key made for his Tacoma. We brought in our own blank key ($10 on eBay). It cost $80 to cut and program, compared to other places that were quoting $125-$200. Even more at Toyota. We called ahead of time to check Will's availability. Once we got there it took about 20 mins for the whole process. Super quick and painless. Will is very skilled and professional. He runs a honest business and is not trying to rip you off.
