This locksmith charged me $700 upfront. Instead of replacing the known broken ignition housing, he did a temporary adjustment and promised it was fixed. Fast forward 3 months later, and the ignition is completely jammed again. When I reached out to have him fix his failed work, he refused to waive the labor or take responsibility. Instead, he tried to charge me an additional $750 to finish the job he should have done the first time. That would be $1,450 total for a repair that standard auto shops charge $400-$500 for.
