I had a wonderful experience with this locksmith. My daughter lost her car key at the beach, and he came out and made her a duplicate key. He was very helpful, professional, and got the job done for us when we really needed it. I also want to mention something because I saw another review suggesting that he appeared to be intoxicated. I believe he has cerebral palsy, which can affect a person's movement, speech, and coordination. I think it's important not to make assumptions about someone based on the way they move or speak. He provided us with excellent service, and I would absolutely recommend him. I really appreciate his help and hope others will judge him by the quality of his work and how he treats his customers. read more

Great service! Michael was super nice, patient and helpful. I would definitely recommend this service!

Mike is an upstanding professional!!!!! Absolutely AWESOME, Wholesome, Down-to-Earth, Same-Day Service too!!! One of our spare key fobs went buss so I sent requests quotes out via Yelp. 3 of 4 Company's responded- One company informed me that it was $59 to come out or I can go to Kaimuki, for no travel fee. Same company quoted $299 for 1 Key and $180 for a 2nd Key??? Another Company offered 2 Keys for $280 (Not bad at all). BUT, Mike offered DA BEST!!!! He doesn't charge a travel fee and there's NO hidden or surprise costs. He came to Mililani from Kailua. When he arrived, he went straight to work. It only took him about 15 minutes for 2 Keys to get programmed, cut, and tested ON THE SPOT. Absolute FLAWLESS work!!! He's actually a really COOL person to chat with!!! His price for 2 keys was very reasonable, as well!!! I would DEFINITELY use his service again and, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!! MAHALO NUI LOA again, for your AMAZING Service!!!!!!! read more

He then tried to call me 450$ for a key that i provided. I was stunned it wass like 6pm during the day, Then when i tried to say no im not paying that he got aggressive threatened to call the police when i said i wasnt paying. i was firm and he scoffed and drove off. I contacted through Yelp for a quote. Michael responded very quickly. He has reasonable prices and is very communicative. He was able to meet within 24 hours of contact and drive to my vehicle. He reprogrammed my existing fob and did a lot of troubleshooting to try to program a new fob as well. Although we ran into issues with connecting the new fobs to my vehicle, he took plenty of time to try to get through the problems. He is friendly, patient, kind and answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend him. read more

My car key broke open recently and I lost the electronic parts inside. I purchased a new key blank and had it cut as a duplicate by a locksmith. But it still needed to be programmed in order to start my car. I came across a listing for carkeyshawaii.com and text-messaged them my situation. They said they were in the area nearby and could be at my home soon. They arrived in less than an hour. Michael, the technician got to work right away, and got my 2010 Honda started in five minutes. It only cost me $65, when other places charge 200 or more, depending on your vehicle. Now, my situation was ideal, not everyone will have the right conditions, but yes, I do recommend this business if you need to have your key fob programmed. They will accept personal checks or cash, no credit cards. I am happy with the result. Thank you Michael and Sue, good work! read more
