Here's what I wish I knew: There's a high price attached to convenience. In my case, my car had already been towed to my house, I was safe, there was no rush. But I ended up paying what is an emergency rate. I would have been much better off getting a key made from a dealership. The initial charge is to show up. He replaced my key that was stolen with a plain, metal key with no chip or special quality. Cost $240. I left the initial review, and he called me numerous times it change it. I felt bad because it was his business, however I wish I had known these things when I started or I would never have paid that much. I am only writing this to prevent others from the same deal. He is nice, pleasant and good at his job, so if you are stuck in an emergency he is where to go. However if you are not second emergency, go to the dealer. read more

Back to normal! Had a beat up FOB and no alarm for years . Dealership wanted almost $500 for a new FOB. So happy I found Island Locksmith Service. Dvir did a great job in no time for my Mazda 2, and so affordable. Thanks Dvir. read more

Dvir from Island Locksmith Service was awesome at helping me get my second key fob created. I found him with a simple online search and he met me shortly after discussing the price estimate. He was able to meet me close to my location which was great. Within about 10-15 minutes of him starting the key-fob duplication process, he was done. My new key for my car was able to lock, unlock, and pop the trunk open within minutes of him creating the key from scratch within his van - which was parked right next to my 2011 Toyota Camry. I'm certain he can create key fobs for a fraction of what Toyota Servco and any other dealerships would charge... like Ford, Mazda, Cutter Dodge, BMW, Lexus, Honda, Nissan, etc. I would definitely recommend Island Locksmith Service while using Dvir as my locksmith any day of the year. read more

I got locked out at 3pm, called Island locksmith Service about 3:10 and by 3:30pm I was already back in my house! Now that's what I call fast and reliable service. I HIGHLY recommend using this company if you get locked out! :D read more

Lost rental vehicle keys on the beach. After calling five locksmiths who said they couldn't perform the service (evidently carrying remote transponders is expensive), Dvir said he could do it. Dvir was the consummate professional - clarifying replacement costs and effort, time to arrival, and approximate time for completion. During the replacement, Dvir was the epitome of courtesy with my family. I can not recommend him highly enough. His efficient response resolved our predicament quickly and we were able to enjoy the remainder of our vacation. read more

Absolutely incredible service and the best locksmith I've ever worked with. We called because our dog was locked in our car and he sped over immediately. He was out the door and on his way before he even got off the phone. Not only that, but he was incredibly professional and treated our emergency like it was his emergency. Once he arrived on scene, he had the door open in under a minute. He was even able to program a second key fob for me to make sure I didn't get locked out again. All in all, terrific service, great experience, and would 100% recommend Island Locksmith over any other company. read more

Island Locksmith Service was the first one to pop up on google so I called the number and they immediately answered. The person on the phone was really nice and understanding. I asked when he was available and he told me the same day. I was so relieved to hear that. We scheduled an appointment and he arrived on time, calling me 45 minutes before he arrived. Amazing service!!! He came to us almost instantly and was able to make another key on the spot.

I went to their website and called for an appointment to have programmable keys made for my car. Personnel was on time and I had already purchased uncoded keys from my usual parts place. The total time was 20 minutes, which surprised me and both keys work perfectly. The technician was very personable and explained in non technical terms the process of coding both keys. I AM MORE THAN SATISFIED with their services and will contact them again read more

Extremely fast service. Cut a key for my van without anything to go off of. Literally only 15 minutes start to finish. Couldn't be more impressed or satisfied with my service! I'll absolutely recommend to anyone needing a key cut. read more

Worse service ever!!!!!!!!! Felt like I was scammed for my $200! The receipt specifically said that he will program my key, which he didn't. He said my key was defective, if it's defective I think if he had some kindness in his heart he would've lowered the price! But NOPE! He said "I come all the way from Waikiki at 9 o'clock at night to help you blah blah blah!" I don't care if you're coming all the way from Waikiki, I don't care that you "helped" me....it's your job, you didn't do your job! You took my money for an INCOMPLETE job! Did these yelpers get paid to leave a good review?! This guy is seriously a joke! It's holiday season, and he took the money I could've used to buy my son Christmas presents. I guess he won't be getting much this year because a heartless locksmith decided to scam me for my money! The least he could've done was put a discount for not completing his job. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

This guy is the real deal! No fuss and was quick! All keys works well. Price was on point..... Will call again... Happy Client :)

Even though Dvir couldn't come on the day he promised because of another job he was working on I will still give him a five. He was very polite, easy to talk, clearly explained and showed me the issue at hand, and worked very quickly and efficiently all while having to take a phone call from a desperate lady. I thought he charged me a fair price especially considering he also had to replace the entire knob. This man obviously knows what he is doing. Aloha Dvir! read more
