So, I broke my mailbox key in my mailbox (apt/condo) trying to open a sticky lock and I was told USPS could fix this but it was a 3-4 week turnaround. Way too long for me. Found this company on Google and they sent someone out within an hour of calling. Nick, came over and replaced my mailbox lock in under 10 minutes. Reasonable pricing. And due to the amazing quick service I even left extra. All in all, recommend if you have a sh**ty mailbox lock. read more

I needed a 24 hour locksmith for a strange lockout of all things we had someone stuck in a bathroom in our condo at 12am. After trying on our own I knew we needed a locksmith as the door was jammed in a locked position while not physically being locked. I called and the operator sent out a call to a technician named kyle. He was able to come (got a little lost but admitted he was new to the island and had been working long day). What I liked is he gave me a quote of $200 and it's what I paid even though the job wasnt straight forward and he had to put a lot of effort to basically dismember our door knob without damaging our door. Matt from Honolulu Locksmith was the best - got to me in 20 minutes, got me in my truck and even changed my key battery for me

I changed two locks with this company. The installation went fine. There was trouble with the invoice. The installer said 3% would be charged if credit card is used. When I received the invoice, I calculated the charges and I was charged considerably more. The installer said his hands were tied so I asked to speak to the manager. The manager said the credit card fee was 5.1%. When I told him I was quoted 3%, he said the installer was mistaken. Good customer service practices that I have encountered would have stood by the quote of 3%. This company absolutely refused to edit my bill. I will never use this company again. We were unfortunately locked out of our own house. How? We had a battery powered/wifi TouchPad, so we put our finger on it to scan and it should unlock the door. On this night, we head back upstairs, me thinking my Husband locked the door behind us on the way out didn't actually lock it, scanned my fingerprint, it locks the door and the whole things shuts off. On the app, it was saying the wifi was not connected. At this point, we're just out of luck. It being 1030pm, we were debating if we were gonna wake our neighbors and see if we can bunk in for the night and call a locksmith the next day because no one may answer their phone. LoL! We opted to try calling different locksmiths and this company was the only one that answered. THANK GOD! Nick was the young man that made his way to us. He asked for pictures of the lock and he determined that he would have to bust the lock open because it wasn't just a lock that he can pick. Anyway, he arrives around 1130pm. We felt really bad to had bothered him so late at night but bless his heart cuz he saved us! He took about 10-15 minutes to open up the door and that's after busting two drill bits. Good to know that the lock we purchased was hard to bust open, however, he didn't recommend that brand. He did recommend another brand to get and we went to purchase it the next day. Eric went above and beyond to save me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. I can not thank him enough. After making a new key for my car that wasn't starting up, he helped diagnose other issues my car was having and recommended the best way to move forward with repairs. When my car was having issues a couple days after, he came by to help with fix and diagnose what turned out to be a separate issue at no extra charge. Kyle saved us a ton of money in fixing our Honda. The wheel was locked and there was something wrong with the ignition. A local mechanic shop was going to charge over $800 more to fix our car. Not only did he fix our car, by handling the issue correctly and making us new keys we now have a working drivers side door, that has been broken for almost two years! Apparently this ignition lock is a common problem with Honda's, so if it happens to you please do yourself a favor and contact these Honolulu Locksmith and ask for Kyle! read more

I wasn't able to open the door from the inside which is scary when you are claustrophobic like I am.The parts aren't manufactured any more making it very difficult to find a replacement but I was lucky and found a used one on EBay. I hate going out on Saturdays, rather stay home and chill but there was an important errand I had to run so I got ready, got my dog and rushed out the door. As soon as I closed the door I knew. I left my keys on the counter this was certainly going to ruin my whole weekend specifically for wasting my time and money. I called Honolulu Locksmith, gave them my contact info and in a few minutes a Lock Technician called me back and gave me a 25 minute time til arrival. He arrived in 20, already making my bad day a little better. He explained the pricing and the route he was going to take. He took one look at the door handle, took out his tools and within 1 minute he had unlocked it. He then told me the cost and since it was a simple/fast job he would charge me the minimum fee, no weekend fee, special hours or after hours fee, and trust me it was very reasonable and affordable.
