We had family coming from out of town so I booked an igloo because I'd heard great things about this place. We drove across town only to find that it was "closed due to bad weather." It's 69 degrees out in December at 8pm. There was no call or notification telling me the reservation had been canceled. I checked their website and while it says "temporarily closed," it also says it reopens on Dec 26th. This was our second time trying to come. The first time I booked an igloo for my husband and myself for a week ago. I was called and they told me they were canceled due to "bad weather." I think it was drizzling earlier that afternoon. A bummer but I appreciated the notice. I understand that things are difficult right now especially with surges and people being understaffed. But if you're going to close, at least admit the true reason and do the courtesy of notifying those who have tried on multiple occasions to give you their business. Just makes you feel like you're being lied to.

Very trendy garden patio in the heart of Buckhead. This is a new establishment that opened up early 2021. I imagine this place will catch on quick: great location, attentive servers, trendy patio, garden lights, fire pit, and excellent drink menu!

Willow is the newest bar in Buckhead and I know it's going to become popular very soon. It's on the main floor of the new Sylvan hotel located off E Paces Ferry. There's a covered area as well as a garden space with lots of seating. The cocktails selection is great but food offerings are weak. Their food menu is predominantly vegetarian small bites with the fried chicken picnic basket as the only meat entree. We ordered the picnic basket for our party of 4 though it says it serves 6-8. It was a perfect size for 4 ppl, I would not recommend sharing for more than that. I was surprised at how tasty the fried chicken was. It was super crispy and well seasoned. I only had one drink but I can't wait to go back and try some of their G&T.

Beautiful garden view bar in the Sylvan hotel! They serve primarily snacks, try the beets and feta. Cocktail menu has a lot of gin and tonic options. Would go back for the ambience and service!

I had heard about this place on Instagram but I didn't have an opportunity to go until I found that it had availability via Open Table during a very busy weekend in Atlanta (my bf's family could barely get a hotel anywhere in the city). We were seated immediately, it had a very open floor plan to the outside. Only issue was there was a very loud fan near our table but I'm sure it was helping the place not be so hot and humid. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating. The shareable plates were so nice, very fresh and simple but flavorful. The drinks are really nice. I got the sangria and the cypress g&t which was so floral. We also got the Picnic Basket. The chicken was so good! And the fact that The Betty and St. Julep are all in the same building as Willow Bar makes for a great night without leaving the building!

This year the drinks were blah, the food was mediocre, the vibe was non-existent, and the service was the bare minimal. I have been to other pop-ups this year and would recommend any of them over this include Rreal Taco down the street or Hamp & Harry's or even just picking up the Grinch Happy Meal at McDonald's. Pros: Parking onsite, Reservations (sort of), friendly host (best part of the experience) and server (but absent), nice decorations. Cons: Expensive, boring drinks, overcooked and poorly plated food, not a lively nor festive vibe, poor communication and customer service. Even though this is the only pop-up pre-charging for their event and it was significantly more than a year ago, we liked having a booked time and it was a great experience previously so we booked in early November, but within an hour of booking, we had to adjust the time via OpenTable to a couple hours later. Faster forward to two days before our booking. Confirmations comes in and we notice it is the old time. Called, left messages, send messages through multiple means. Zero response. Called the next day and finally reached the manager who said that the time we wanted wasn't available even though it was the day before so took a later option at 730. Arrive on time but they don't have a table. While waiting they seat us in another area and offer extras since they are late...but they bring chips and salsa 30 mins after 730 when we were supposed to be seat 10-15 mins after we arrive. No waters or anything. Bring complementary margaritas at 810 but only 4 and there are 6 of us. The waitress was dismissive and there was no one else in the bar when we got there. Finally seated at 830 even though they are timed reservations and said they were going to be asking people to wrap within 15 mins of 730. Food was so basic and slapped on the table. Drinks were not festive at all. Ran out of hot chocolate. No festive cups or anything. It was the most mediocre experience I have had. Skip it!
