If I had to choose, I'd lean toward the Garden, but they were both delicious. We'll be back!

When we got there they chatted it up with us while the pizza finished cooking and then served us right away. Very cool place- I felt like I was upon a hidden gem inside the college vibes. I'm 40 but left feeling young again. lol. Thanks for the good vibes and making my 16 years old's day. We got 2 pepperoni and 1 cheese. The cook told us there's some garlic magic on the bread- it sure tasted like a light garlic bread & was great dipped in ranch. I highly recommend this eatery.

I'm heartbroken to say that this not the Bartolotti's of old. The brick and mortar Bartolotti's in Springfield has closed so we of course can running over to the food truck. We live in a rural area and drive 25 miles in to get pizza and Bartolotti's in Springfield was my favorite go to pizza place. Even though sometimes a woman who worked there was rude and hung up when we tried to place an order to pick up. We would go in anyway and order and wait. It was worth it! Back to the pizza we got today from the food truck on Friendly Street. They were out of ricotta and basil, there's a store across the street... just saying... so we changed our order from the Bianca All White pizza, my personal favorite to Bruschetta pizza and a pepperoni. We walked across the street to get ricotta so I could add my own if wanted at home. I have some basil plants at home so that's covered also. We get our pizzas and take them home. I look when we get home and apparently they for some ricotta and put it on the substitute pizza... okay, fine. That's not the issue. The issue is the pizza crust looks undercooked and the other cheeses, mozzarella and ? look plastic like they have started to cut corners and are using cheap cheese. Breaks my heart because Barolotti's truly was THE BEST PIZZA in Eugene. Steve, I hope you get things sorted out. I will probably give you another chance for the love of the pizza! And then I'll update my review

I'm not someone who usually posts reviews, but the way I've been treated at the Friendly Carts…read morelocation of Bartolotti's has been completely unacceptable. The first incident happened about six months ago. At the time, I chose not to write a review, but in hindsight I should have. It wasn't a busy night, and when I placed my order, there was a small misunderstanding about the cost of adding mushrooms to half of the pizza. While checking out, I asked for clarification on the pricing (which that should be on the menu board) and the employee responded by throwing the POS device toward me and yelling, "DO YOU WANT THE F*CKING PIZZA OR NOT?!" I immediately canceled the order and left. I was truly baffled and blown away by the whole interaction. Last night (4/28/2026), I decided to give it another try, and unfortunately had another negative experience with a different employee. My husband ordered a pizza and was quoted a 20-minute wait. After about 50 minutes, while it was getting late and our kid was getting tired, I went to check on the order. I was the only person waiting and stood there quietly, but after being ignored, I finally said "Hi." The employee snapped back, " CAN'T YOU SEE I HAVE MY FACE IN A HOT OVEN?! I CAN'T TALK RIGHT NOW." I waited patiently, and when I was finally acknowledged, I was told the pizza had just been put in. That part was fine, but when I mentioned that we had been quoted 20 minutes, her response was unnecessarily aggressive and totally rude. I've worked in restaurants and customer service for 25 years, and I understand how stressful it can be. That said, there's no excuse for repeatedly treating customers this way. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to others. No one deserves to be spoken to so disrespectfully.

The location of the venue is perfect. There is street parking and if the street parking is full there are two lots within a block that only charge if there's some huge event. The acoustics are amazing, I haven't heard better sound in a venue since I can remember. It let me really enjoy soul vibrator, a seven instrument funk band that knows how to jam. I really appreciated being able to take in all of the sounds and music. It was like listening with thousand dollar headphones. And that was true regardless of how full or empty the venue was. The full bar was nice as well. I had a slice of the pesto pizza, I would like to try this place when they're actually serving the purpose of serving pizzas. It's probably pretty good. There's also a coffee shop in house but I wasn't able to try it as it was too late.

We arrived and took our time with the menu to figure out what we wanted, then went to order. It took a bit before someone came out to take our order but he was nice and quick. I got the amore pollo alfredo pizza and my partner got the three sisters triple pepperoni pizza, both with stuffed crust. We also got an order of mozzarella sticks. The food took a bit to come out but I know that's because they make the pizzas from scratch so I didn't mind. The mozzarella sticks came out first and were unfortunately disappointing. They tasted frozen, and I suspect they are because when I went here for the first time I tried to order them and the guy taking my order said they "haven't gotten any in in a while" which told me they don't make them in-house. They had a weird aftertaste and the breading was too dry. I had the garlic knots last time and they were great, so I think I would stick with those in the future. The pizzas were fantastic! They were piping hot and we had to let them cool before we could eat. The sauce to toppings to cheese to dough ratio was spot on and the pizzas were cooked well. The dough wasn't chewy or crunchy, it was perfect. The pizzas alone are five stars! One thing to note: you do grab your own plates and napkins, and you bus your dishes when you're done. An older couple left their dishes on the table and walked past the bussing station and tbh I'm holding a grudge against those two strangers because of it. Just clean up after yourself, it's not that hard! The only thing that I really didn't like was the excessive use of AI art. The advertisements and menu both had AI art using the typical AI style, not even trying to hide it. In an age where marketing materials can be created by even the most inexperienced people easily and for free on Canva, Adobe Express, and other similar sites, there is simply no excuse for using environment-destroying AI slop in a business setting. It was incredibly disappointing to see such an otherwise nice small business use AI when there are so many artists in the area who would jump at a chance to create art for them. I know I'll get a reply from the owner on this, and I just want to reiterate for those who actually read this: there is *no* excuse for using AI art. These people clearly know pizza. They make a great pie and have a lot of unique flavor combinations! I'll have to stand by my morals and take my money to another small local restaurant that doesn't use AI art, but if they have a change of heart here I will gladly, and rather enthusiastically, return.
