I tried twice to make contact with them. First, I clicked on the link on their website and asked about a 10 x 10 unit availability. Four days passed by. No response. A few days later on a Saturday, we went by the place to see if they had any availability. It was 4:15 on a Saturday - their sign said they were open til 5. Door was locked. We saw a heavyset guy in the back, and knocked on the window. He completely ignored us. It shouldn't be this hard to inquire about availability and rent a storage unit. We gave up and found a much more friendly place for relatively the same monthly price. I get that Covid is causing disruptions everywhere but just be professional and friendly. read more

Very friendly service, they had a flood and let us in. Water main broke and caused flooding and Livermore Fire Department was there to stop the flow. BC, rescue, ladder truck, best seat in the house is in the back. They let us in to get to our storage and then checked ID when we left. read more

I really did not have an issue until last Sunday. We are supposed to be able to access our units from 7am to 7pm. We showed up a bit before 10am and the gate was not working. Honked a couple times since someone lives on site but no response. We were headed to the mountains to have Christmas with our family and all the presents were locked in our unit. The office did not open till 11 so we waited. 11am came and nobody opened the door. My husband started honking nonstop and finally someone opened the door and turned on the gate. We missed our lunch reservation because we were an hour late. I asked for some compensation for our troubles and was told they don't do that, and someone opened that gate as soon as they were available but that was 4 hours later than it should have been. Not a good business practice. read more

I DO NOT recommend storing your stuff at this place. I had nothing but problems with them. First I switched storage spots because I needed a bigger space. Then it rained and the storage spaced leaked because the company they hired to do the repairs on the building didn't do they're job right and a bunch of my stuff got ruined, they offered me another space at no discount, not did they offer to compensate even after they admitted it was their fault that the storage leaked. Then when I couldn't afford the other space anymore, instead of trying to work with me on it, they sold my stuff. The guy that runs the space is a liar and a thief. Don't trust him. read more

Overall a great storage facility: - Location is ideal, right off the 580 freeway. Close to a shopping center so you can grab a bite to eat before/after your visit. - Staff is nice and helpful. You can handle your account in the office, and there's a new functionality to pay your bill online. There's a bathroom that you can use to wash your hands and handle your biz. - Value - reasonable rates for the storage sizes. We did a search for comparable storage spaces in the surrounding area and this place was/is still the best deal. - I do wish the hours were a wee bit longer, but it's not a biggie and we plan accordingly. read more

That's the furthest thing from the truth when it comes to Will-Store. Not only do they quickly call back (if not immediately available) but the people returning the call are super friendly, helpful and informative. You are immediately comforted by two of the best, Jenna and John, both are open and honest--never trying to sell you something you don't want or need. Our experience with them was beyond 5 star! I cannot say enough about my first impressions with this Will-Store location! After only a week's wait, they called me to tell me that the unit I had wanted was now available, and it was effortless to get signed-up. The rates are more reasonable than my previous storage place (Extra Space Storage on Northfront Rd.), and they also gave me my first month's rent for free! Most importantly, the staff here are very friendly and helpful! "Jenna", who mans the front desk, and "John", the manager, are always friendly and say hello to you in passing... something I was not used to over at Extra Space. They actually act as if they care about your business... a new concept to me! As I had been with Extra Space for over 9 years, and never got anything from them other than constant rent increases about every 9-10 months, I hope and expect that my relationship with Will-Store will be a much better one, over the next few years! Had I not missed my appointment with another storage facility, I would have not called on Will Storage. I am glad it happened this way. When I called Will Storage the person on the other line was cheerful, helpful, and very easy to talk to. I was down there in 15 minutes. To my surprise the congeniality continued and I felt very comfortable trusting my belongings to be stored at this site!! 4 stars vs. 5 due to the hours...would be nice to have a little more flexibility if the facility were open an hour or two later but as the previous poster noted, it's usually ok if you plan accordingly. We've just recently rented a unit to store extra stuff after merging two houses. The location is easily accessible and the staff was very helpful and friendly during the initial process. After reading reviews of others storage facilities in the area, I was concerned about cleanliness and rodents but this facility is very clean and well maintained. read more

I have rented between 1 and 3 units for over 5 years. The employees, especially Anne, are fantastic. I am not happy that I will move everything elsewhere but since they started renting uhaul trucks at least half the time I go to my storage there is NO PLACE TO PARK!!! Often I only need to run in and pick up one or two things for my business and don't really want to park inside. Renting uhauls is definitely affecting the storage business and often I see people drive in and there is nowhere to park to enter the office to rent a storage unit so they leave. read more
