My parents stored their coach at this facility for approximately 10 years, and I personally stored my toy hauler here for 6 years. We stayed this long because, when we first started storing here, it was a completely different facility. It was clean, reasonably priced, well maintained, and the staff was helpful, professional, and easy to work with. Unfortunately, after the management changed, the quality of this facility went downhill dramatically.
The electrical system became increasingly unreliable. At one point, there was an electrical outage that shut off the battery maintainers on my dad's coach. Management never notified us that there had been an outage, and as a result, the batteries in his coach had to be replaced at a cost of approximately $4,000. For a facility specifically designed for RV and trailer storage, having unreliable electricity is bad enough. Failing to notify customers when an outage occurs is completely unacceptable.
The facility itself has also deteriorated significantly. The spaces and surrounding areas are no longer maintained to the standard they were when we originally became customers. There is dirt and filth throughout the facility, and the area around the dump station has become particularly disgusting. The facility has also allowed food trucks to dump their waste into the storm drain, which was located right in front of our toy hauler. Meanwhile, storage fees have continued to increase to the point that they are simply unreasonable for what customers are actually receiving--especially considering the electrical problems and declining maintenance.
Then there was the incident that really demonstrated how little management values its customers. In April 2024, a member of management ran in front of me and stopped me while I was driving my pickup through the exit gate because she was assessing problems with the gate and asked whether I had a fob or clicker. The gate's sensor was malfunctioning, and the gate subsequently hit the passenger side of my truck and caused damage. The manager told me the facility would pay for the damage. I obtained a repair estimate for approximately $4,100, provided it as requested, and then management ultimately refused to pay for the damage they had previously agreed to cover.
Since then, things have somehow gotten even worse. Management has allowed food trucks to be stored on the property. Some of these trucks, specifically those parked next to us, have been filthy and have resulted in knats, flies, and awful food-related smells making their way into our coach and trailer. This is exactly the kind of problem that should never exist at a storage facility where customers are paying substantial amounts of money to protect their RVs and trailers.
After leaving our spaces for a recent trip, our extension cord was stolen directly from our storage space. We contacted management and asked them to review the security cameras. We were told they would look into it. They never did, and management made no meaningful effort to help us recover the stolen property.
After 10 years of being customers, we finally moved everything out. Ironically, as we were leaving, we couldn't help but notice how many empty spaces there are now compared with when we first arrived--when there was a waitlist to get into this facility. That says quite a bit.
This facility had a good reputation and loyal customers because it was once clean, well maintained, reasonably priced, and professionally managed. Unfortunately, the facility we are leaving bears very little resemblance to the one we originally trusted with our expensive RVs and trailers. After a decade of being customers, we are extremely disappointed with how this business has deteriorated and with how management has handled multiple serious issues.
We absolutely do not recommend this facility. The prices continue to climb while the quality, maintenance, customer service, security, and overall experience have gone in the opposite direction.
Respectfully,
A family of disappointed customers
