This place is horrible. They don't tell you that a lock is already provided with move in so we bought an extra one for both of the locks to SUCK! Every single time I go to open my storage I have to jangle my keys in there for at least 5 minutes before it works. The gate to drive in never works. You always have to get out of your car to enter the code manually; what's the point for the app? And to make all this better, we have only been here since June and our price was increased majorly twice. They never answer the phone ever and nobody is ever in office. Always raising rates every 6 months amd they don't even have employees on the property. There is a machine you need to deal with.

Moved my old stuff from my parents place here when I moved to Los Angeles way back in the day. Kept it there for many years until the rent increases went a bit far above what other facilities were offering. Regardless it was a safe place, easy access, Dolly was always great & helpful, don't think she's there anymore as when I moved out i dealt with the new manager over the phone who kindly took care of a few things I had left behind. Under normal policy they would charge you for the extra month or a cleaning fee which he did not as February is a short month. Never had any problems with any break-ins or issues accessing the property when I would return from LA. Have since moved my things into my new home in Sherman Oaks, CA. Though I have no problem recommending this facility. read more

Do not store anything in Public storage! Unfortunately I had to move out of big house into small apartment recently. Consequently I had to put most of my stuff into storage. I ended up renting two storages from Public storage. I got phone call and text message from manager of Public storage today that one one the units I rented, got broken in. Lock was cut off, left next to the storage unit. Besides my storage unit, few others were breaking in. My financial damages around $10,000.00 , on top of that I have emotional damage because many pictures which were in nice frames stolen, two computers with a lot of videos of my children and pictures on their hard drives stolen. The criminals who broken into my storage unit also stole two boxes of important documents and box of books? Are they intelligent, they want to read stolen books??? Does not make sense. Also what does not make sense, why Public storage which charges renters significant amount of money, does not provide proper security surveillance?? Why video surveillance only very limited space by entrance gate, and no surveillance at all inside of hall ways to see who Entering storage units???? Which would prevent crimes??? I hope my insurance company's lawyers can bring negligence law suit against Public storage. Emotional damages can not be recovered as stolen videos of my children since they were born. Learn from my bitter lesson, do not rent any storage units from Public storage. I I added pictures of cut lock next to my storage, which I bought from Low's and according to locks add it has to be very secure which obviously not. I bought round security locks from Lows before, they did not fit Public storage security storage holes. Again question why???? My storage unit was full to the point, I could not put anything else there. From pictures you can see it's half empty, on top of that left boxes are empty or half empty, all valuables were stolen. read more

My mother sold her house at the beginning of the year and she needed a storage unit. I also needed to store some items... so we went in on getting a 10X10 medium unit. This unit was perfect, it has drive up access making it easy to load or unload. The reason this place gets 5 stars isn't because the unit we got-because let's be honest public storage is the same almost everywhere in what they provide. No this place gets a solid 5 stars because the location manager DOLLY. After I reserved the unit online Dolly called to confirm a time when I could come set up everything the following day (as I planned) so she could focus on my mom and my needs. Then when we came, to do all the paperwork, she went through everything in full with us. She made suggestions and walked us through the unit before confirming it. I loved how she was attentive to her surroundings as well. While assisting us she was watching the gate and it gave me security about storing our items here. I guess my favorite quality about this place and her is that she seemed to care about our needs and her job and that's important when your storing items of value (sentimental or monetary) in a location not close to home. If you need a unit I highly suggest this place. read more

If your looking for a secure, well lit, professionally managed property. Look no further. This Public Storage location has Patti, who is a great onsite manager. I feel at ease knowing that the management is always curtious, helpful and keeps an eye out on what's going on at the property at all times. Personally I rent an outdoor single parking spot for my 6' X 12' enclosed trailer. Having peace of mind is everything to me. Now if upper management would change there policy and stop raising the monthly rates so often. All would be good. Guess they would rather give out a free months rent to new customers all the time instead of trying to keep the loyal customers they currently have happy. read more

We recently moved to California from, respectively, Boston (me) and New Jersey (my husband). We decided to not take any of our used Ikea furniture and instead to just ship boxes of our stuff across the country. Turns out, if you find a public storage place that is SUPER nice, then you can ship boxes to yourself, even if you are personally living in a Motel 6 while house hunting. Patti in the office was so great about handling all of our shipments, and making sure that they got into our unit without us having to take time off from work to wait at the storage unit. She was also incredibly helpful in helping us prorate the rent for the number of days we needed, and also left us a cart on day of move-out which made the whole thing a lot, lot easier. I love the place and Dolly is extremely helpful and informative. However, on the days that she's off, the fill in manager is at the entrance parking lot smoking. It smells awful when I have to get out of my car to punch in my key code. It's the same when I'm leaving as well. This needs to be controlled better of another manager needs to be scheduled for when Dolly is off. read more
