We were actually on a pretty tight schedule, so having the food come out fast without sacrificing quality made a huge difference. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the experience. My wife ordered the toast with eggs sunny side up and bacon, and the bacon was phenomenal. Crispy, flavorful, and honestly some of the best we have had at a breakfast spot. I went with the buttermilk pancakes and they were absolutely out of this world. Soft, rich, and the syrup paired with them perfectly. I also ordered an Americano and it was excellent. Smooth, strong, and exactly what good coffee should taste like. What stood out most was how everything just felt easy. Great atmosphere, great service, great food, and no stress. Places like this are hard to find because they usually get one or two things right, but Liberty Market really nailed the whole experience. The woman was shaking her head and saying to the waitress "this isn't okay to be doing while people are eating", pointing toward our kids. Once I realized this, I immediately called my kids back over and had them sit with us, and I even let her know that if something was bothering her, she could've told us and I would have addressed it right away. The couple chose to ignore us and left shortly after. The manager then came out and reassured us that Lucky Lou's is a family-friendly restaurant and that our kids were absolutely fine. That meant a lot to us and really showed how supportive and understanding the staff is. I also hope one day that couple realizes how hard it is to keep a 4-, 6-, and 8-year-old sitting at a table for more than 30 minutes without shoving an iPad in front of them.
