stopped in town for the night on our way south. was craving ice cream and for whatever reason decided that weinerschnitzel's frozen treats section was good enough. ordered a single chocolate-dipped cone at the drive through. there was one car in front of me, but somehow it still took 10-15 minutes for the ice cream cone to be prepared. at some point a car pulled up behind us and the driver was started cleaning his floorboards of trash and tossing litter out both windows when i got my cone the ice cream was already melting. i also didn't know it was possible for soft serve to taste so flavorless. it tasted like frozen water with vanilla ice cream flavoring. overall so disappointing it felt intentional. in fact I don't know if I've ever been disappointed by ice cream so thank you for the new experience. the woman working the window was very pleasant. read more

I have been here a few times since they opened so this review is overdue. Each time we ate here the line is short and employees are friendly. The chili cheese dogs with onions are always tasty. My son likes the corn dogs and fries, this last visit fries were hot, crispy and so delicious. I had only one but wanted more. I had unsweetened ice tea and it was good without adding any sugar. This place just opened a few days ago and since I've always liked Wienerschnitzel I wanted to try it. They have the usual fare one would expect. Since they are new to town they were somewhat busy but it didn't take long to order and get my food. I ordered 2 chili cheese dogs and fries. The fries were very hot so no soggy old fries, woo hoo. The chili dogs were warm but a bit salty, no worries though. The chili was good and plentiful. The cheese was a bit sparce but ok. If I was going to have any complaint it would be the background music. They have a radio piped in and it's either mistuned or just can't pull in the station. It was more static then music. Thank you to the lovely young lady (working on 9.7.20 around 9pm) for going above and beyond and surprising me at my car window while I was waiting for my soft-serve cone. I rarely if ever go through a fast-food drive thru If I ever do, it's for a quick drink or a cone. Inevitably, I get stuck in a line of cars ordering large quantities of food. But this is just the way it is. Tonight was no exception and by the time I placed my order I had already been waiting a good 15 minutes. (Yes, I did contemplate leaving the line before ordering, but this would have been my treat on my 5 commute home).
