    The service was great! First time in Mojave, CA The woman at the window who gave us our food was REALLY amazing and sweet ! Very thoughtful of our order and had the best personality:) Shout out to the African American in the mask at the second window around 9AM

    Overflowing trash, hygene issue

    So we stopped here twice in a 3 day period while on the way to Mammoth and back to LA. No one is there to serve you, you order yourself and just pick up your order. I know we're in the digital/robot age, BUT that is no excuse for McDonald's POOR hygene standards. On both occasions we visited the trash was overflowing out of their trash cans, not a pleasant site nor what I expect from a world profound fast-food chain. Get your act together McDonald's. The FDA should start shutting down establiments like this. #FDA

    A McDonalds 5 out of 5. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and the food conformed to my expectations of McDonalds. This was a quick stop passing through town. Went in and had to order from their digital menu which was no problem. Used restroom which was clean. Then they called my name and I was able to peacefully enjoy my quick bite and hit the road.

    Friendly tips before you arrive: Bathroom's are key coded. Men and Women. No refills whatsoever. No 20 Pcs Chicken McNugget meals. No 4 pcs Kids McNugget meals. 30 minute dining limit. Regardless of where you coming from CA-58 or CA-14. This Mohave McDonalds is something rather 'unique'. First of all there is a drive thru. Two (2) entrances really. First is off the Old CA-58 and the other on CA-14. Depending on which highway your are on. But it leads to the same building. Now what makes this 'unique'? Well, first off, this McDonalds is now Kiosk Ordering. Meaning there is no Cashier whatsoever. What is more annoying is that as you park your vehicle in the parking stalls. The first two (2) kiosk is right at the entrance next to the bathroom. So this can cause physical body traffic. The other Kiosk is right across from what used to be the Cashier. Once you are done ordering. Find a seating area for your number to be called if taking out. Or take one of the table numbers and your food will be delivered to you in person. The other 'ordering' option is by having the McDonalds App. So if you know are wanting McDonalds. You can order in advanced and pick up your food once you arrive. Or Order while you are there if the kiosks are packed. As it were in our situation. If you need 'service' you're going to have raise your voice to get some staff attention. As most of their physical time are at Drive-Thru Window and at the food prep. Other than that. The dining tables are quite large for medium sized groups under 6. Anything larger then will have to find other tables. Enjoy and safe travels once you leave!

    Food was nice and hot BUT we waited almost 20 minutes for our food. Place was clean and restrooms were clean

    First- they forget to add my order, then you get attitude when I tell you at the window. Then you mess up my order and only bring me a sandwich. When you go back and bring me my fries- you don't even fill them up. This isn't your kitchen - stop being greedy. Do your job. If you don't like where you work- FIND A NEW PLACE. You work at a place you're supposed to ( service the customer) so if you don't like servicing then go do something sitting on your bottom.

    Standard fare, clean and fast service. Plenty of parking nearby. Menu is digital which makes ordering pretty fast

    Don't go here. It will take 45 min for chicken nuggets. Poorly staffed and the staff there aren't helpful.

I waited 4 minutes to get order, and another 5 before I asked for a refund. i was on the clock and waited while the Barista chatted with a friend in line talking about meeting at a bar or something on Friday. Bu the time I waited 5 minutes after the order, the same people were still waiting for their drink. A couple that came in after me got there's before I did. 9:40 by the time a left with no coffee. No,"Someone will be right with you" No apology for the wait time. She offered me a coffee instead of the Americano I paid for, then I thought I paid via card, but I paid cash. The cashier couldn't tell on his end that I paid cash. $6.50. No customer awareness. I won't be back. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this crew was awful... Really bad look for those people. I wish them the best!

It is difficult to walk away without a mini-pie (try them all, but blackberry is freaking amazing!!). As always, Danelle was there with her typical congeniality and work ethic! We love her!!     I visited Kohnen's Bakery Tehachapi yesterday with my family, and this was honestly one of the…read moreworst customer service experiences I've ever had. I only purchased two items -- one cream puff and one slice of cheesecake -- but the cashier charged my card THREE times due to repeated mistakes. Here's exactly what happened: 1) My first card (Card A) was charged $11.20. The cashier asked me if I wanted a receipt, and I said yes. Then she told me the receipt didn't come out because the transaction "didn't go through," and asked me to provide my card again. 2) I gave the same card again, and this time she charged $11.69. 3) Then again, she told me that it didn't go through, so I used a different debit card (Card B), which was charged $11.20. While sitting at the table with my family, I immediately checked my bank account and thought I had only been charged twice. I spoke to a staff member at the store and requested a refund for one of the $11.20 charges, which was processed. However, today I realized I had actually been charged three times, meaning there was still another $11.20 that needed to be refunded. So I called the bakery and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with someone named Danielle. I calmly explained the entire situation and told her I would send all my receipts and bank transaction records by email so they could double-check and confirm everything. She said ok and gave me their email address, but it was very long, and I was concerned about making a mistake while writing it down. So I politely asked if she could text me the email address instead. Her response was extremely rude -- she said, "I'm not required to do that," and told me to just write it down myself if I had a pen and paper. Although I was already uncomfortable with her attitude, I carefully wrote it down and sent the email. However, the email bounced back as invalid, even though I had confirmed the spelling with her multiple times over the phone. When I called again, Danielle answered and said, "Ma'am," in a very dismissive tone, and told me that they had found the three charges and had already processed refunds for both $11.20 transactions. I tried to confirm which card the refund was going to, since I used two different cards, but after putting me on hold for a long time, she read off a card number that was not mine. When I told her that wasn't my card, she insisted those were the only transactions for $11.20 yesterday and told me to "check my bank in a few days" and call back if the refund doesn't show up. And, she didn't apologize for the mistake, even though they charged my cards three times and wasted a significant amount of my time. Even yesterday, when I asked for an apology, I only received one reluctantly after I pointed out that they had made a mistake -- and even then, the response was dismissive, as if I should just accept it because they were "taking care of it." The attitude throughout this entire situation was rude, unprofessional, and extremely frustrating. The cheesecake was very good. But because of this experience, I would never come back. We drove all the way from Los Angeles to Tehachapi with my family, expecting a pleasant visit, but this bakery completely ruined the day. Being charged a total of $34.09 for just two small items due to repeated errors is unacceptable. If your staff cannot properly process payments, they should not be working as cashiers. Situations like this should never happen. What's even worse is that after making multiple mistakes, there was not a single sincere apology -- only attitude, dismissiveness, and instructions for me to keep checking my bank and call back again. My time is valuable. This entire situation could have been avoided if things were handled properly from the beginning. This was an extremely unpleasant experience, and I am very disappointed. Cf) For reference, the other $16.05 receipt is for bread that my brother purchased.
