This place is one of Mojave's hidden secrets. I've driven past here a million times on the way to Mammoth but never gave it a second glance. If you've ever driven up the 14 to Mojave I'm sure you've noticed that store on the corner with all of the sexy dresses on mannequins in front. Well this place is right across the street! Anyway I stopped here one time to grab a snack and wow, my mind was blown! You can't tell from the outside but the inside looks pretty new they must have done a full renovation recently. They have a krispy krunchy chicken kiosk right inside the store, and a full on seating area and restaurant that serves made to order pizzas. I've never gotten a pizza, but I've gotten the fried chicken many times and it is delicious! I can't speak for every day as I only come on Sunday evenings on my way back from Mammoth, but every time I've had the chicken it's always really fresh and crispy so they must be cooking it pretty regularly on Sundays. With that said, make sure you pick the pieces that look fresher, I've had hit or miss luck with the potato wedges and biscuits. Both are bomb when fresh, but I've had days where it's stale and tastes like it's been sitting under the heat lamp for awhile. If you're not trying to eat chicken though, the selection of snacks and drinks is HUGE. Much bigger than you would get at any normal gas station convenience store. Also, they have large clean bathrooms. These are not janky run down gas station bathrooms, these are super clean and well maintained with plenty of space and good lighting. The gas here is generally cheaper than everywhere else, so if anything this is a great place to fill up gas and use the restroom. There's also hand scooped ice cream, an automated milkshake machine, a a rad mural on the outside. If you're passing by the area I highly recommend a visit. read more

The Kwik Stop in Mojave is a great place to stop on the way from LA to Mammoth or Reno and all points in between. We have been going there for years, as the facility continually expanded and improved. They have friendly service, gas, every kind of food or supplies you could need, and very clean, nice restrooms. Even ice cream cones with Thrifty's ice cream! As you drive through Mojave, the Kwik Stop is located on a corner where Highway 14 turns East. read more

8/02/2025; While driving through Mojave, we stopped in for their Top Tier Gas (under $4 per gallon!) and looked around the store inside. What a trip! They sell Thriftys Ice Cream cones, they even have the cylindrical scoop! They have all the snacks you might want, they even sell fried chicken, mojos, pizza made to order, pastrami sandwiches... and the viral Asian fruit shaped ice cream! The prices are a little higher, it it's a convenience store in the middle of nowhere so stop complaining. The gas was a good deal and the restrooms are clean! read more

Biggest and best selection of beef jerky. They have everything in the store, including pizza burgers, and very friendly staff

Stopped here to get a bite to eat before heading home and let me tell you the fried chicken here did not disappoint. I grabbed the krunchy chicken box with a biscuit and potato wedges. It was honestly one of the best fried chicken I had. I'm not sure where this chain is from but for it being chicken at a gas station it was on point. read more

Mojave locals - avoid the pizza ------------------------------------------- I've bought 6 pizzas here and only 1 was ok. Not good, just ok. The other 5 were wet, sloppy pies. The guy preparing them takes them out of the conveyer belt, almost idiot-proof oven too early. They are undercooked with doughy bottom crust and when you try to pick up a slice everything from the sauce up slides off. read more

Great facility, shitty staff. Three or more of the six bathroom stalls were out of toilet paper, they charged us a dollar for a cup of ice and there was no ice in the machine, I'm pretty sure the cashier called me "stupid" when I couldn't find one of the items I bought, the same girl who was barking out orders at the other staff the whole time we were trying to give her our order, she'd ask us a question and then start yelling at her staff, we had to repeat the order a couple of times. read more

I was recently in this store and everyone there was kind and friendly. Since I was on crutches, I was concerned that I would have a difficult time using the restroom here. A young lady who was working here was kind enough to hold open the restroom door for me. I really appreciated her help! Other employees in this store shared a smile and a nice greeting with me. This place needs some fresh reviews. The facility is nice and new. Compliments end there. The employees seemed disinterested and were more interested in chatting with one another rather than assisting people with ordering and checking out. We went for chicken but they were out of tenders so we went with some other stuff from the store. Their chicken sandwich was gross and had been sitting far too long.
