Five piece lemon pepper boneless wings with parmesan flavored french fries.
    Cade H.

I love the fact that Edwards AFB May be the only base in the world with a Wing Stop. The crew currently posted here is doing a fair job at keeping up with the massive batch orders for individuals ordering for their offices. That being said, I ordered a simple 7 piece boneless wings today as a walk in, and I felt forgotten. I stood around for half an hour waiting for my small order. While the customer levels were not like opening day there was still constant customer levels to keep them busy. I am giving them a pass due to this review being made during their opening week. Mistakes can be made, and they are only human, but I hope they dial in a system to handle the large orders and also the small orders. The lemon pepper crispy boneless wings are quite excellent. I have had them quite often before in and around Anaheim, where the customers can make or break you. I have also had this type of wing up here in the Antelope Valley where the wings have enough room for improvement to say the least. So far, and I will be keeping track, the quality of the chicken, the consistency of frying, and flavor of the wings all deserve five out of five. If they never lose the quality levels they have set for themselves, Wing Stop will have a long tenure at Edwards AFB. I had to deduct a star simply due to the incredibly high prices, and the lack of larger signage to help people identify which line is which. Overhead signs above their respective register will help. Just my two cents. To conclude, I am highly recommending everyone utilize the online ordering. I have used this method, and used the traditional walk-in. Waiting half an hour for 7 boneless wings is no way to treat a customer. I know they are busting their butts in the kitchen, but maybe they need to separate large and small orders better. Online ordering will give you a specific time slot, and you can pay immediately so you never have to take up space in the line. I happened to glance at a few receipts today, and the ready times for online orders are within a minute or two. Overall, they are a welcome sight to our base, and I hope they keep the great food flowin 12-26-2019: Ordered 20 boneless wings, got 20 bone in. Drove all the way home to find out order was incorrect. Side note, the lemon pepper boneless wings are a bit salty compared to the boneless. 12-27-2019: Order was corrected and they were really nice to make the order of crispy fries free too. The boneless wings were super delicious. Only one piece of chicken was a bit chewier than the rest. Lemon pepper flavor was spot on.

The interior is small but clean, with a few barstools at a window counter. Most people take their food to go, so the limited seating is usually used by people waiting not people staying. No restroom, but they are in a larger plaza with a few other places with restrooms. On that note, parking is no problem. It stays pretty laid back and quiet; they usually have kpop videos playing on the TV. Other than the main focus on fried chicken, they do offer a variety of other foods, including tteokbokki, dumplings, and rice bowls. The different seasonings they offer for their chicken wings are all delicious - try the bulgogi soy sauce if you want a savory flavor and the honey butter if you want a sweeter flavor. One thing they've mastered is keeping their chicken CRISPY. They have a few different drink options. You can grab some shelf-stable Asian snacks if you visit in store. Prices are fair for the quality of food you get.

As you drive up it is a stand along building with plenty of parking on the far back left side of the parking lot plaza. The interior is very unique, dark back ground with blue lighting with many wall art pieces and TV's you can view within any seating options. They have bar top seating, table and charges and booths. Plenty of seating for small and large parties. As you can see from the menu pictures below they have many food options depending on what you in the mood for. We stopped in during lunch to test out their wings, we heard they were very good, they did not disappoint. The lunch special is a great way to sample their food, we each had our own wing lunch special, I had the 10 piece, you can get two choices of sauce with the 10pc only, my brother had the 8 piece, each order comes with a drink and your choice of fries or onion rings, great price for the wings. The wings had great flavor and were fair sized, I was very impressed with the "hot" buffalo sauce, very tasty with a small kick, I would recommend a try, I also ordered the spicy teriyaki,it was ok but my brother ordered the spicy lemon pepper that is also a hit and a must try. The french frys were criss cut and good sized portion as well. The staff was friendly, we had a great interaction with the bartender (Ash) who brought over our drinks. Overall, a very good experience, we are also looking for a spot to watch the World Cup games and Ash mention that they were going to support the games, we will be back next week to take in the games and more of the menu.

Following our epically failed experience at the NEW Coach's location in Palmdale, we came here in…read morehopes of enjoying Coach's like we used to. The wait staff was pleasant enough, but all the additional charges are out of hand! I had ran into this issue here, previously, as well as at the NEW Coach's just earlier today. We ordered one dozen wings. We asked for the six flats of the order to be "mild" and the six drums to be the spiciest they have (which is not spicy at all). We asked for them to be extra wet. My wife likes ranch with hers, while I like blue cheese. When the ticket is presented, there are up-charges for ALL FLATS and ALL DRUMS, a charge for the blue cheese, a charge for ordering the wings wet. Seriously?! First of all, I had spoken to a manager at this location previously about the up-charges for separating the flats and drums to different flavor profiles. The manager agreed that I should not be charged for this and removed those charges. In discussion with the manager at the NEW Coach's, earlier today, the same consensus was relayed. STOP CHARGING FOR THIS! Look, I could understand if I was ordering six or twelve wings and asking for all of them to be drums or flats. When one orders twelve wings, which is generally equal amounts of drums and flats, why am I attempting to be up-charged twice for having one sauce on all the flats in my order and another sauce on all the drums? Why are you charging me for another dipping sauce on an order of twelve wings? You give one dipping sauce for an order of six wings. You think one dipping sauce is compatible for an order of twelve? You charge me for asking for our wings extra wet? The only reason we ask for them that way is because the wings are nearly dry if you don't. And, the little dollop of sauce that came with the wings was hardly worthy of being called "wet". I had to ask for more sauce because there was not enough to even consider them being viewed as wet when they arrived to the table. This place is going downhill; quick, fast, and in a hurry since the transition to new ownership. Coach's used to be a place we could enjoy going to and count on their menu staples being available (if they weren't sold out!). The fried green beans were in high demand. So much so that they were sold out when we went, a few times. Their pretzels were also a huge hit! The new owners removed them from the menu. I know they have had numerous requests to bring them back, but they couldn't care less. The food has gone downhill, the wait staff is not as lively and personable as they used to be, the extra charges are ridiculous, and the new owners don't give a rat's a$$ about their customers; they only care about trying to make money (while removing a couple of the best selling items on the original Coach's menu). Make that make sense! Remove sell-out items when your only focus is about making money. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the waitress was halfway attentive. Good luck with your future, as you continue to lose previously loyal customers!

(4.25 STARS)…read more Memorial Day road trips always seem to create the best random discoveries, and Pit Stop Bar & Grill absolutely delivered. Tucked away off Victor Street in Barstow, this was a fun find while driving back to Los Angeles from Vegas over Memorial Day weekend. Big props to Haley M., who was basically running a one-woman show and somehow kept the entire place moving with a great attitude and solid service. That alone made the stop memorable. The location has a cool, laid-back vibe with plenty to keep people entertained while grabbing food and drinks. They've got two billiards tables, a dart board, and all kinds of classic bar games, board games, and card games, including UNO, which is a family favorite. They also have several televisions. The food was all good too. I really enjoyed the Green Chili Burger, and everyone else in my party seemed genuinely happy with their meals as well. I felt they were trying to nickel and dime when I got the bill, i was charged for a side of ranch, a side of BBQ, and had no idea I was being up charged for the onion rings. I didn't say a word, but it hit wrong with me. .75 points deducted. What especially stood out to me, though, was the Memorial Day place setting displayed near the front entrance honoring our veterans and fallen heroes. It was simple, respectful, and genuinely touching. See my picture. That detail said a lot about the heart behind this place. If you're making the Vegas-to-LA drive and want something more memorable than the usual freeway fast-food stop, this place is definitely worth checking out. Great atmosphere, friendly energy, and one of those spots you end up talking about later.
