If you want a little spot to get good drinks, and stay off the beaten path, here you go. Quiet and low key.

Milk Bar... it's a 3.5 star rating, I suppose. Ok, will round up…read more The best thing about it is they don't hassle you as bad at the door. They have multiple rooms to explore. The music is good, mostly. But you may need to hop around as it can change so much. So, wander around, you might get lost, but you'll find you way again! (or just ask! ha) Not as great, the drinks are SO weak. It's a little ridic. If I'm paying $15 or whatever for one shot and soda, please let me taste the alcohol? Like, come on! I can buy a bottle for that. Just let me taste it. Bartenders can be hit or miss. I've had some totally cool ones and some really strange ones that seem to have personality issues. Not as much lately, though, just overall in the times I've come here over a few years. Maybe the current bar manager (who introduces themselves as such when you walk in) has got it whipped more into shape. Can you just tell them to include booze in drinks?! Lol Entrance is in the back alley.

Ok, First, I found this place hard to find. The front entrance was closed and had no sign or…read moreanything. It was by pure luck that I found the entrance off of a back alley. It was Thursday night and they we charging a $10 cover. When I got in there, there were only 10 people in there, and that included the employees. The staff there were friendly and the music they were playing was nice. This place gives off an old dungeon vibe. It could probably use some updating. There is metered street parking available in the front and a parking lot available in the back, where the entrance was when I visited. I do like the club's set up. It has a couple of rooms. There is like a lounge area, a video game room, and a couple of bar areas with dance floors. They have different music playing in the rooms. The video game room has a bar and classic coin operated video games, like Spy Hunter, Ms Pacman, and Off Road. They mostly take quarters and they have a change machine available. The drinks here are reasonably priced and were decent pours. I only stayed here about 30 minutes. I was really bored and decided to just call it a night and go to bed early. I would probably come back here, but It would not be on a Thursday night and I would do some homework on the place before I came here.

Meow Wolf Denver is hands-down my favorite location so far…read more There's something about this one that feels more intentional and cohesive compared to the others. It still has that signature Meow Wolf chaos and "what am I even looking at" energy, but it feels like the artists came together with a really clear shared vision. Instead of just exploring random cool rooms (which I also love), this one felt more curated - like every space is part of a larger, connected world you're slowly uncovering as you go. It's immersive in a way that kept pulling me deeper in the longer I stayed. I've loved all the Meow Wolf locations for different reasons, but Denver is the one that felt the most complete as an experience. If you're only going to pick one, this is the one I'd recommend!

We were disappointed with the lack of secrets, passages, puzzles, etc. it's pretty much just a bunch of art (good art to be fair). However, we then discovered the prices. While we appreciate this place and its art, it's only enjoyable if you don't mind being extorted. We got the most basic tickets, at $105 for us both. The basic experience is just a walk through, with the story and more interactive elements being locked behind a pay wall. At 105 dollars, I should be able to hear the dang story. The food and drinks followed suit with the rest of the shake down and were expensive as well. It's hard to appreciate the local artists when I can spend the same amount of money exploring Denver for 2 days. I cannot recommend this to anyone that is not financially well off. If you care about your dollars, there's plenty else to do.

Y'all!!! This was such a fun event! I had never been to an Upstairs Circus and when I was planning…read morean intern and internal alumni event this location popped up at the top of my search. And I am so glad it did. It was easy to request event info online and the event team was super responsive. Originally my event was for 20 people but we ended up having about 30 show up. But since we had the location to ourselves on a Monday, that number was fine. Kayla and Whitney were so great, they made sure everyone had everything they needed and kept the drinks flowing. I highly recommend partnering with Upstairs Circus for team building events team events friend events or just a fun time doing something creative. The diy projects vary in difficulty and mostly, it's something that you make and take with you. I made a gold tassel necklace and it wasn't easy but it's something that I'll have the rest of my life that I made at this event with this memory. Thank you Upstairs Circus for this experience!! Looking forward to doing it again.

What a fun and unique date night experience!…read more My girlfriend and I received a gift card to Upstairs Circus and chose to celebrate Valentine's Day crafting to our heart content. This place was a dream!! Now, I'm an experienced crafter myself, while my girlfriend is not so much, but I'm happy to say both of us were able to enjoy it. The options are a wide variety including activities for all skill levels, and the instructions are very straightforward. The bar menu was also plentiful, with a variety of signature cocktails, some limited wine selections, and even some holiday-inspired shots! I also felt like the staff all took great care of us, making sure we had a memorable experience. They continued checking on us whether to help with our crafts or to fill up our glasses, were kind and attentive. This was such a special experience!
