Meow Wolf is one of the most entertaining things to do in the Denver area! Meow Wolf is a series of art instillations across the United States, this one specifically being Convergence Station. I won't spoil the story, but there are plenty of things to find with the Q-Pass and by exploring the various "worlds", but even without experiencing the story, it's incredibly fun to just walk around and see what all you can find, and they're constantly updating and adding instillations, which is sure to keep you coming back! Do note that Meow Wolf is an art instillation, don't come expecting an Arcade with games to play and countless things to do, instead think of it as an adult-sized version of those interactive sections at the museums, slightly mixed with a playground, all wrapped in a weird, fun, artsy package, so if that isn't your thing, be warned. Overall, Meow Wolf is an amazing experience that you should definitely try if you're in the area! read more

I'm not sure what to make of it, but I found most of the art a bit disturbing and strange. My daughter mentioned that's exactly what art is all about--expressing emotions. There were doors that led to rooms filled with even more art. I suppose the fun was getting lost in the rooms and floors. Overall, I probably wouldn't go back. Place is interesting but not for the price they charge. I've been to beer gardens in Europe that were as interesting if not more interesting than this place. Looks like a bunch of people went on an acid trip and decided to decorate the inside of a building. I got a veterans discount and paid $50 plus $15 to park. Spent about 90 minutes inside. Four of us - two boomers and two GenXers - felt the same way, too expensive and a "one and done" kind of place. It should cost 1/2 what they charge and parking should be free. I gave one extra star because there were some creative use of materials - eg, the old radios. read more

This was an incredible adventure I shared with one of my closest childhood friends! We had an amazing time. Everything was so visually breathtaking! It's almost hard to know where to go first. Thank goodness for the app. Highly recommend you download it. Definitely do all the little side quests. They are all really neat! My favorite spot was the bar on the 2nd floor. This is the third meow wolf I've been able to visit, first was New Mexico second was in Las Vegas Nevada now this one in Colorado. Each one is unique with its own theme and story, this was like an "inter dimensional" experience with various floors to explore. Spent a few hours here with friends and checked out some cool art they had a movie theater playing an odd movie about butter lol. Parking lot you have to pay before entering. What an absolute 5-star masterpiece! We previously visited Meow Wolf's Omega Mart in Las Vegas and had a great time, so when we found ourselves in Denver, we knew we had to check out this location. There are definitely some conceptual similarities across their exhibits, the concept is beautifully crazy and usually involves space, sci-fi themes, and some sort of a disappearance mystery. Supposedly, this Denver location is actually their largest installation out of all five of their sites, and it absolutely felt like it. It features multiple rooms and multiple distinct worlds that are just overall completely insane. It is pure sensory overload for as long as you are inside! Because we had a flight to catch later that same day, we didn't have enough time to actually play the interactive storyline game. However, we did get to fully explore and enjoy every single room, and there are so many of them. I got to push all the buttons, touch all the interactive art, look at the finer details, and just listen to the incredible music and sounds. Words honestly cannot describe just how crazy this place is. The intricate details, work, love, and attention that the artists have put into this art are absolutely amazing. If you look closely, there are hidden details literally everywhere you turn. Because it is so wonderfully overwhelming, I can totally see why locals get annual passes to go back again and again, each time you visit, you are bound to discover something new. I've now been to all the Meow Wolfs in the nation except Las Vegas (Grape Vine, TX, Denver, Santa Fe). If you've seen one, you understand the basic experience, though to really get what's going on, you have to see them all and do a lot of wandering and research. Denver's Convergence Station is the largest of the Meow Wolf complexes (I think) at over 90K square feet. For timed entry and a drink, it cost over 60 dollars (flexible entry is more expensive). I actually had to go twice because I was so overwhelmed and missed a large portion of the venue, even staying like three hours. The art is awesome. Lots of mysteries. Phone booths where you can call multiple numbers and get various weird clues. A neon castle. Tunnels to crawl through. Lots of climbing up stairs too (they have elevators if needed). You can stop by a bar in the Japanese-inspired "city" to grab a regular or boozy drink to take around with you. Lots of places to explore. You can touch everything (make sure to sanitize after you leave). Multi-media and diverse textures everywhere. Bright lights. Weeeeiiiiirrrrddd stuff. Aliens. Monsters. Sometimes if you time it right, their real life alien characters will make their way through the installation. I don't think there is any way to see or understand this installation in just one visit (they offer annual passes by the way). And honestly, you have to see all the other Meow Wolfs to really get the big picture (but it doesn't hamper your enjoyment or delight if you haven't). I will say that this version of Meow Wolf is a little more winding and convoluted than other smaller venues. Things don't connect quite as well. But still a good time. Employees are all helpful and cheerful. You can make this into as much or as little of a day as you like. And it's 100 percent worth it. read more

I'm a Meow Wolf enthusiast. After multiple visits to the OmegaMart in Las Vegas, Convergence Station in Denver is my second Meow Wolf experience! I really enjoyed the theme of a sci-fi train station that serves as a common transit stop across multiple universes, and memories are used as currency in this world. Once we take the elevator up to the location, we entered into a city. It was very cyberpunk, and I didn't know where to start looking with all the storefronts, vehicles, and the movie theater. At one point, I did go into the movie theater to rest and watch the films. There's a lot of little Omegamart Easter eggs, like the store products! The music room with all the instruments and the circular light hanging from the ceiling playing music was very trippy. The giant enchanted forest was so cool and dreamy. I took a bunch of photos and videos there, and enjoyed standing in the temple and absorbing the sights and sounds. The stained glass cathedral was my favorite room. It was absolutely magical and awe-inspiring. The staff were absolutely amazing and friendly. I upgraded my ticket for a supremium membership at Meow Wolf, which means I get free entry anytime for the next year at all 5 Meow Wolf locations, and any guest I bring with me gets 20% off their ticket. read more

This is one of the coolest interactive experiences I've ever had! My husband planned an epic surprise birthday trip for me in Denver. This is definitely at the top of my list. We spent a good 2 hours here, walking around, enjoying the art exhibits, trippy decor, awesome performances. I have two big tips for those who plan on visiting; buy your tickets ahead of time online AND be prepared to pay for parking in addition to admission. There's a parking lot out front, it cost $15 for the entire day. I know there are other meow wolfs in different cities, now I want to visit them all! read more

I usually spend about 2 hours but you could literally spend the whole day if you're really into playing the virtual game and looking at all the details with the unique art rooms. Cool space to check out with friends! There are so many different rooms, things to look at and places to explore in this expansive museum. Every direction you look is something new to see! The whole place took my friends and I about 2 hours to explore. Tickets were about $50/person and parking was $15 in the lot across the street. They have a small cafe and gift shop where you can purchase drinks. Inside the immersive museum there is also a spot where you can try out themed drinks as well! There is so much to see and it constantly has you questioning your reality and why in the world anyone would even come up with such a place! It's easy to get turned around! I normally post lots of pictures but honestly, do yourself a favor and don't look up anything! I didn't and it was SO much more fun that way!! There is a bar and area where you can do snacks. The bar area had its own floor and looked really cool! I wish we would have done that! The snacks are down on the first floor! Overall we spent about 3 hours here exploring. If you go fast you could probably do it in about 90 mins but honestly you should go slow and enjoy every weird detail! read more

It still has that signature Meow Wolf chaos and "what am I even looking at" energy, but it feels like the artists came together with a really clear shared vision. Meow was indeed a unique yet confusing expereince. We visited over the holidays, my daughter wanted to see what the fuss was all about. I didnt know what to expect. She paid online, you cant pay in person. From the arrival to the leaving its was giving some witchy vibes, play time, mystical and alot of stimuation that hits you quickly. We walked in all these different rooms sober of course and we still thought it was way to much going on. Im assuming people wander thru this for as a group to fill a sense of high. Those who know me know that it's on my bucket list to visit every single Meow Wolf location current and future. Since they started in New Mexico this art group has stolen my heart with all their amazing abstract art. It's almost endless the possibilities with a multiverse and I would love to see watch universe. That being said when I found myself in Denver, you know I had to check this one out. Let's start with the parking situation. There's no free parking. The parking is $15 per vehicle. A bit steep unfortunately there isn't access to alternative parking. It's located right next to the Broncos stadium between the highway ramps. Unless you wanna walk awhile you're better off coughing up the 15 bucks. I didn't realize it was one of their adult nights the day I had gone. The price for admission was $60. It is already paid for parking by the time I was at the box office so I shelled it out. They have 2 restaurants. One is more of a snack bar located on the first floor. The second flood has kind of a speakeasy vibe. Fair warning if you're not a fan of climbing stairs you may not enjoy the experience because there are several floors. They only allow the elevators to go down. Overall it was great to finally experience the Convergence station. Of course you know I have to go back especially after I discovered there were some spots I missed. Other than the parking situation and exuberant pricing it was still a good time! read more

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Everything one loves about a Meow Wolf experience. I was excited to check out another Meow Wolf after my first experience with the one in Vegas. While the utter surprise factor wasn't there that I got with my first time, some familiarity with the concept might have actually made me more attentive to what was going on. All the Meow Wolfs are different, and the idea behind Denver's is that you're at some kind of an intergalactic space station and you're visiting another planet. You start off in a "downtown" sort of area, with shops and restaurants that feel familiar at first glance, but then you start to notice the strange writing and other things that are slightly off. From there, as your explorations take you deeper into the complex, things start to get really weird and fantastical. I won't talk any more about the details; the fun is in your own discovery. The most amazing thing to me about Meow Wolfs is all the handcrafted artistry that goes into the exhibitions. It started out as a scrappy, DIY-esque art project, and I was glad to see that some of that original spirit still shone through. It's a diverting way to while away 3-4 hours. They also do have a cafe (which I didn't try) and a large gift store with all kinds of fun items. read more

I've always wanted to visit a Meow Wolf and I was so excited when a work trip to Denver came up! It was easy enough to get here by Uber. Cost at the door was about $43 pre tax for the standard ticket day-of. I arrived about 7:40PM on a Monday night and was able to get a ticket. You start by going up unto an elevator that takes you to the 4th floor (you can explore the 5th & 3rd). There's really no set path and you can wander -- everything connects and the point is to wander. I didn't realize until afterwards that you could buy the "boop" cards that unlock the story points. Since it was my first time and it was late at night during a work trip I just wanted to explore and wander. I spent about an hour and a half here just admiring all the artwork. This place is really, really cool. So large and immersive. Otherworldly. Loved the fairy type world in the middle and the rainbow ice castle most. There are so many fun interactive elements -- in one room you crawl on your knees and stick your head throw a hole to watch animatronic cows. There are lots of photo ops and crawl throughs and interactive moments. It's really fun and sparks your imagination and your childlike sense of wonder. I came late at night on a weeknight so there were other people but it wasn't too crowded. I could see how it might take longer and not be as calm and fun if you visited at peak times. This is super cool and I'm glad I made it my "one extracurricular" on my work trip. read more

So much fun and lots of cool art. The staff at check in were super nice, shoutout Mothman and the woman who sold us our tickets. We got the pass to do the interactive story and it was alright, there was definitely some filler and the videos were a bit long but some satisfying puzzling. We had done the Vegas Omega Mart Meow Wolf prior and loved it after figuring out to not get bogged down in the HEAVY amount of detail. Towards the end we kept getting lost trying to find some previous rooms we'd been in and ran out of time to finish completely but did have fun with the quest overall. One of our favorite accomplishments was the pizza rat side quest. We ran into a couple other groups also clearly working to figure things out and helped each other out. Would recommend and would budget a solid 6 hours +. read more

Meow Wolf is basically what happens if a fever dream and a box of highlighters had a baby. You walk in and immediately get teleported to a dimension where physics is a suggestion and my sense of direction is useless. ​The whole place is an absolute trip; you can spend hours wandering around or actually follow the storyline if you want to feel like a detective on mushrooms. It's the only place in Denver where "getting lost" is the entire point. 10/10, still not sure if I ever actually left. read more

Incredible interactive space that is so overwhelming for the senses you almost don't know where to look and which way to turn next. I enjoyed it thoroughly but was told upon entering it's just a big circle, which it definitely isn't. A map would have been nice but when I tried to download the app I had to create an account first which I definitely did not need so I skipped it. I'm sure, after being there an hour, that we missed some spaces but were in such sensory overload we didn't care. You get what you pay for. This was our second visit, our first visit being 2 years ago. My husband and I had a fantastic time and definitely wanted to take our kids once we came back to the area. Our children, 14 and 13, had a great time. I love that a lot of the exhibits are interactive. I think this is a great place for teens who are bored with a lot of things. To describe any Meow Wolf excursion is to speak a different language, a journey into the beyond. I've been to our local venue several times, now. As an artist and writer, myself, with friends who have work in the space, I'm still left speechless. When it first opened, it was A LOT. People were still wearing masks due to COVID and places had just reopened. It was, quite frankly, a sensory overload. There were timed tickets, which were just vague notions because time gets lost in this immersive installation, without windows or clocks like a casino. There was also the fact that the place itself had just opened after years of false starts, with the Covid outbreak just as the exterior of the building was completed. I went back after things calmed down to give it a second chance. It was a good choice. The second time, I went in the evening on a weekday. It was quieter without the school groups and families. There was space to take in the scenery and participate in the interactive elements. The full bar that's open in the evenings was available to take breaks and leisurely stroll through the universe that is Convergence Station. I'm glad I went back to give it a second chance because it's now a destination for any friend that's visiting from out of town. I strongly suggest giving yourself plenty of time, should you have plans following your visit. No matter how many times you visit, you're going to feel like you've missed something. Each room has its own signature theme, as designed by independent artists. Each hallway, each doorway isn't just a portal into another world but its own unique space to explore. Then, there's the venue, too, with its dancefloor that echoes your movement in a panoply of colors, which is also a must-experience. Parking is aplenty yet paid. It's not a far walk from the light rail stop, so there's that option. The ticket prices have come down from when they first opened, offering discounts for locals in Colorado and annual memberships. If you're coming through Denver or live here, be sure to set aside time for this time warp!! read more

I was doing a two month crop country road trip and was in Texas and heard about meow Wolf in Grapevine, which I went and was amazed. Since then I took my 91-year-old dad to.MegaMart. He enjoyed it. I'm currently on a road trip and I did the meow Wolf in Santa Fe Springs. Having done the Meow Wolf in Denver, I'm so looking forward to the opening in Los Angeles. Each experience is different, but I truly enjoyed the unusual amusing incredible fantasy of the Meow Wolf Denver. When I try to tell people what Meow Wolf is, it's impossible to describe except for fantasies in the artist's mind. You can literally spend many hours enjoying. My girlfriend and I love experiences like this. We get especially excited when there are secrets to discover or passages to be found. This place is described as being right up our alley. We were disappointed with the lack of secrets, passages, puzzles, etc. it's pretty much just a bunch of art (good art to be fair). However, we then discovered the prices. While we appreciate this place and its art, it's only enjoyable if you don't mind being extorted. We got the most basic tickets, at $105 for us both. The basic experience is just a walk through, with the story and more interactive elements being locked behind a pay wall. At 105 dollars, I should be able to hear the dang story. The food and drinks followed suit with the rest of the shake down and were expensive as well. It's hard to appreciate the local artists when I can spend the same amount of money exploring Denver for 2 days. I cannot recommend this to anyone that is not financially well off. If you care about your dollars, there's plenty else to do. read more

Meow Wolf is a total immersion experience. My wife and I spent an entire evening there. There is so much to see and experience. As a visitor, you go at your own pace from room to room, each room containing mind-boggling decor and interactive displays produced by imaginative artists. It describes itself as "multiversal travel through alien worlds." In other words, each room is like being in a whole new world, where everything is extremely colorful. If you want to get an idea of what it's like, take a look at the many photos that are displayed on their site and in various reviews. They allow visitors to take photos, at least with their phones. We went on a Thursday night, when they were less crowded. I can't comment on what it's like on a weekend night. My only complaint was the loud music. Probably most people don't mind that, but I am a senior citizen. I found the music so loud that it detracted from my enjoyment. If I go again, I will definitely bring my air pods or else ear plugs. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! I'm adding photos to my review, but you really need to be there in-person to get the full experience. All the rooms are unique, and some are hidden or tucked away requiring a special code. Pull on EVERYTHING - there are doors hidden behind things you would not expect. Visit every nook and cranny for the tiniest details. I highly recommend purchasing a "q-pass." They cost only around $3 if I recall correctly, but they are very much worth it. You can tap the q-pass on various machines scattered throughout the Convergence Station to gather mems, which contributes to a larger story that ties together the entire Convergence Station. The world-building makes the experience even more enjoyable because we were able to spot small details from various characters and their stories scattered throughout the land. Completing the entire story took my group approximately 4.5-5 hours and was a lot of fun. My only qualm is that we couldn't quite figure out how the wall slimes worked. It seemed that you could tap your q-pass on them, then try to somehow follow their pattern to gain a mem? But none of us could figure out how to do it correctly... Luckily, you don't need to use all the slimes to complete the storyline. At one point, the story suggests that you use the slimes, but we were able to get around that by finding and tapping additional other stations to finally collect the mems we needed. Overall, the experience was great, and I definitely plan to visit other Meow Wolf locations in the future! read more

This is the second Meow Wolf location I have been able to visit as my first one was in Las Vegas. We had a lot of fun. Our ticket reservation was for 10:15am and we arrived around 9:45am. There was a line already fromed to get inside as we got dropped off, so arrive early. Once inside, all the employees were friendly. We walked through security and then quickly made it over to the elevator that would take us to the top floor. Every room we visited was different and unique. There is soooo much to see and some you can even interact with. My favorite one was the convenience store - I thought was super cute. I hated the cathedral looking thing, just not my vibe. The laundry mat was also super adorable. Overall we had fun! It was a very unique stop and I'm glad we checked it out. We were there for about 3 hours. read more
