Like most hotel bars, the drinks and food can be expensive, but the bartenders are on point with the cocktails. Their smoked old-fashioned drinks were good, the Negronis were very crushable, as was its bourbon cousin, the Boulevardier. The shrimp appetizer that my wife ordered was also very good, and a nice starter before we had dinner at the English Pub. It's a good spot to experience sunsets as you knock back a drink or two, or watch the night sky, so long as it's not overcast or raining. If you look closely towards the ceiling-length windows, you can see the Denver skyline in the distance in front of the Rockies that dominate the landscape from afar.

How lucky to spot Cerebral Brewing right in front of me on Colfax. I was even luckier to find free street parking right out front and open seating at the bar. The beertender was very personable and informative when I had questions about the craft brews. He recommended the Rare Trait Week Flight of Tiny Trait (Hazy IPA), Dank Trait (West Coast), Galaxy DDH (Hazy) and Mango Terpene (Hazy).
