Four words- iced lavender white mocha!! I discovered this cute cafe this past week when I went to Irwin for cherry blossom pics. I saw people outside eating and thought I would grab a drink. The young lady working was so friendly and helpful in suggesting a drink, which I ordered and it was soooo good! I want to go back to eat soon and the inside vibe is so cozy so really not sure if I will sit outside or in. I recommend this cafe/coffee spot and can't wait to go back.

3* - Solid choice if you're in the area...BUT...on a good weather day it's a 4 for me! Skip to the end to see my eating scale. White Tree is a really good little coffee shop on Main Street in Irwin. The inside is small, with just a couple of tables and a wall bar. But it has a great outdoor patio with umbrella tables as well as several tables in a covered porch. So if it's a good weather day and you're able to sit outside, I'd be willing to make a little drive to hang out a while. The staff is efficient, and nice. I don't get the sense that the counter staff is super knowledgeable about coffee, but they can follow the recipes they offer. I'm really just a "regular coffee with cream and sugar" guy and their regular house brew is very good. The food menu is simple and small, but the food is tasty and I was happy to gobble up my croissant breakfast sandwich. Overall, it's a worthwhile stop if you're in the Irwin area. 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive up to 30 minutes just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here

A regular at WTC. Great environment to read, write, or meet a friend, Intimate space with both several tables and chairs, a couch, and a tabletop area with several chairs near outlets for laptop work. Excellent lattes, Great rotating seasonal menus Fresh baked goods and breakfast sandwiches MTO. Anyone working is friendly and has solid recommendations. A real gem of the town!

This is a great space to do work or relax with a great coffee! The inside of the shop has a decent amount of seating and WiFi. The coffee I got (pumpkin spiced iced latte) was great, and they offer a variety of coffee beans for purchase. The breakfast sandwiches are average, but not too pricey if you need something to eat.

The CUTEST little cafe and coffee shop in Downtown Irwin. You feel like you have been transported to Stars Hollow in Gilmore Girls! We went for their pumpkin spice launch, and everything was amazing! We enjoyed the classic pumpkin spice latte with brown sugar cold foam, a pumpkin spice espresso mocktini, a maple pumpkin scone and a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin.

This is a small place in Irwin that has some great sandwiches and coffee. The space is small but not too busy to find a spot. Their seasonal lattes are good and their sandwiches are delicious.

Such a cute coffee shop in town with friendly staff and solid coffee. Place was busy and seemed like a nice place to settle down with a good book or relax with a friend

Build your own breakfast sandwich, cold brew, enjoyed on the patio.

A very quaint and reasonably priced cafe. I have always hope for a small locally owned coffee shop in the area and this hits the spot. Friendly service, great sandwiches and a great drink menu.

What a great addition to Irwin! The atmosphere was so cute, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The menu of drinks and food was full of delicious options. They have dairy free milk substitutes which I greatly appreciated! I decided to go with a Caramel iced latte with almond milk and an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. They were more than willing to accommodate the customizations I made to my order which I also really appreciated. They have seating inside or outside on the patio. It was a hot day so the umbrellas provided a lot of shade to enjoy my drink and food. The latte was excellent! Just how I wanted it! The breakfast sandwich was freshly made. So delicious! I highly recommend!

This is a great place for coffee, specialty drinks, breakfast or lunch…read more I have been here numerous times and always had a good (and tasty) experience. When you walk in, it has a warm, inviting vibe. There are a variety of tables and seating options (including some couch and comfy chair type seating). You order by going up to the counter, and they either call your order or will bring it to your table when it is done if you are eating it there. One down side is that there is a fairly large menu and it isn't always easy to find/see all of the options when you are waiting to order. My daughter saw someone got a bubble tea but at the time we were looking, that menu wasn't easy to spot so we didn't even know it was something they offered! All of their food items are made to order (well, I suppose except for the soup which is home made and just dished out to order). They even have soup flights on certain days! I need to go back and try that because every soup I've ever had here has been delicious. They have the standard coffee menu but also always have some unique and quirky seasonal options. They also have smoothies, bubble teas and some other unique creations. They have tasty breakfast and lunch sandwiches, breakfast scrambles, mac and cheese and a variety of sandwiches. You can easily customize your meals and the staff is great about providing recommendations. It can take awhile to get your food/drinks, but that is because everything is made to order. A fun and tasty place for a bite to eat or a sweet treat!

It's been a few years since I've been here. Still as good as ever! Today I had lunch instead of…read morebreakfast and wasn't very hungry. I chose the tomato bisque with polenta. A cup of very good tomato soup served in a large bowl made for a pretty plate but was not a large portion by any stretch of the imagination. I get it, but I should have gone with the grilled cheese sandwich which comes with tomato soup for $7 more. Others portions were large and everyone enjoyed their meals. Our server was very good and the place has a cozy feel to it. I just wish they'd upgrade the restroom from a oner. Since we were in Ligonier strolling through the Ice Fest, we decided to warm up with some beverages. I had Irish coffee and my daughter had the bourbon espresso cream. Both were very good and did the trick to warm us up!

I'm not really sure where to start with this review…read more While visiting, some lovely locals recommended to try the Kitchen on Main as a good lunch or dinner spot. On the outside, you're greeted with plenty of outdoor patio seating in front of the restaurant and live music from an artist playing tunes. Inside is a spacious bar, lounge and woodsy interior with another room with tables and larger party seating. Since we had a little one with us, we thought more fitting to sit outside, watch the horses and carriages pass and enjoy the fresh air. We were told by the hosts that the seating in the front, though unoccupied, wasn't available, but the tables on the side (which I thought were for storage as they weren't set, cleaned or too presentable looking) were. Although a bit confused by that note, we decided to sit outside. It seemed that there was only one server working the outside area as we saw her hastily going back and forth. We were sat at 5:35pm or so. After about 10 minutes, she took our drink orders and 10 minutes later we then ordered our food. We got the drink we ordered then patiently awaited our food. A little after 6:05p, it started to sprinkle with rain outside. If you know PA, the rain can come down hard and heavy, quick. We asked our server if they had other seating available who went to check. As we were sitting on the side of the building - in an uncovered area - we went inside around 6:15p to ask if there was other seating available. Surely a rain soaked toddler and water ruined food isn't the best look for a restaurant serving its guests.. Both the younger lady hosts and a man (not sure his relation to this restaurant), John, seemed a bit perplexed by our request. He then proceeded to advise that the umbrella-covered seating in the front of the restaurant wasn't available, pulls his phone out to check the weather, notes that it doesn't say it's raining, but instead says "yeah, I don't know what that is, maybe it's a neighbor spraying a hose nearby" (while another employee says "I see the rain on the window in front of us") and doesn't really provide any solution for us to sit so we go back outside. Very confused by that interaction, when we saw our server next, we told her that we would be leaving and we'll pay the check for the one drink we ordered. Another girl came out and apologized, saying she wasn't sure why they wouldn't let us sit inside or anywhere else and proceeded to take us to a table inside. Our now hangry and somewhat sprinkled on toddler got her food, noodles with butter, at 6:20p and we got our dishes at 6:30p. The food looked decent though I can't comment on its flavor and taste of our meals as I had no appetite then. I don't know who would want to enjoy a meal there after that interaction. No apology or conversation from a manager was ever had, no items removed from the bill or a complimentary item provided to make up for the poor experience. We didn't eat much as we were quite off put but paid the bill in full. I still have no idea who the "John" guy is and what purpose he may serve there aside from the blatant disregard of guest's concerns and a poor example set in front of the younger employees. Our server and some of the other runner girls were kind, so I don't think customer service and general decency as a human is lacking from this town but this experience and this specific restaurant left that unfortunate impression. If he or they didn't want us there, I surely would have appreciated the honesty so we could spend our money and celebrate Father's Day weekend elsewhere. I don't plan on coming back and only Yelp members don't visit either. If I could tell you to avoid this restaurant at all costs, I would.
