Had a wonderful experience here. A throwback to a time of friendly neighborhood diners. Everything cooked fresh and served hot. Portions are huge, the pancake is literally the size of a large frisbee. Service is very attentive and prompt. Dining area is not large, somewhat like a small cafe, but seems to suit its purpose. Coffee is very good for a restaurant. Overall prices are average, expect to pay about $30 for two full breakfasts and drinks. There is a 4% service fee for credit cards, so consider bringing cash. read more

The reviews don't lie. We stopped in for breakfast. Despite the parking lot being full, we were seated and our order taken right away. We saw a large group's order being taken before ours and thought we'd be stuck for awhile. I'm happy to say, that wasn't the case. Our food came out pretty fast. We had French toast, bacon, biscuits&gravy, and a muffin. We also had the largest glass of orange juice I've ever seen served at a restaurant. All of it had good flavor and was well seasoned. I make a mean banana, walnut , chocolate chip muffin so I ordered one to compare. I HATE to say it, but Billie Ann's was better than mine. That alone should make you want to try the place. read more

This was my first visit to Billie Ann's and had a good experience. It's a traditional diner type of breakfast place with a very friendly staff. I ordered the western omelette and French toast. The omelette was okay, I felt it could've had more cheese and less of the other ingredients. The white toast was also okay. The French toast was very good and highly recommend ordering it. When it comes to outstanding diners Billie Ann's is indeed one of the best. I arrived here for breakfast and was told I could sit anywhere. The place had only one waitress-Amy-she was amazing! She was right on the ball to make sure that everyone was serviced well, had refills on their coffee, take your order, and see that your food is delivered promptly and made to order. The diner is small but I noticed that there is another room which I would guess is designed for overflow or whatever it is needed for. Breakfast is served all day with daily specials on a board. I noticed that the most popular items are country scrambles filled with meat, eggs, cheese, and other things and of course their omelets. I went with the later-having ordered a veggie omelet with a side of home fries and rye toast. The food came out fairly quickly and no sooner than I put my napkin on my lap Amy was there with the ketchup Portion sizes are very generous. The omelet was delicious and the home fries were out of this world good! Later I got to meet the owner Billie Ann who told me she took over this business a couple of years ago and has seen to its success. She told me that Amy did all the holiday decorating in and out of the diner and it is beautifully done! She was a pleasure to talk to and made me feel right at home during our conversation. Prices are very reasonable. Please be aware that if you are using a card to pay, there is a small service fee. A sign on the window advises you of this form of payment. They serve both breakfast and lunch here and have a children's menu. This was my first visit here but I will definitely return to try out their lunches. Directional advice- Billie Ann's diner is located on Miller's Run Road which can be very tricky if you are driving west to Cecil from I 79. Please ignore the two exits that say Miller's Run Road and instead drive past them to Reissing Rd and make an immediate right onto that and then immediately turn right to Miller's Run Road. The diner sits to right in a small business plaza with a parking lot. There is an overflow lot nearby. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Totally a small room/diner feel. Tables close together but very homey. I appreciated the fall decorations in the diner, looked so darn cute. Our server Amy was wonderful. She was seriously waiting on every table by herself, she was a rock star. One of the best kept secrets in the area. They offer great food for such reasonable prices. The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've ever had, and the giant pancake could feed 2-3 people for only $5. Definitely will be a new breakfast staple whenever I come to town. read more

Friendly and fast service. My biscuits and gravy were delicious- a bit on the spicy side though. My daughter had the cinnamon pancake and really liked it.... Although couldn't taste the cinnamon much. Would ask them to put more in the next time. The pancake was BIG and it was plenty with the 2 eggs and home fries. This place used to be a real asset to the area. Great food, fair prices, great service. Every visit was the same. They were excellent at what they did. That is until they decided to expand. Since then, I feel as though the kitchen, wait staff, and management are unable to keep up.
