BLUF: I Hidden Gem neighborhood restaurant. And a wonderful lucky mistake, we lost our way trying to find Subway and came upon Alice's. As a baby boomer you know I had to go in and check it out. What I found is an incredibly quaint., homey, old style diner. I knew it would be good rhe second I noticed all the locals going in there to eat. The food is made fresh to order, the portions are generous, the service is friendly , and the price is right. I had a grilled chicken wrap which was very very good, and the Western Mountain platter is enough to feed two people on top of being delicious. The only catch is that the only take cash. So bring your cash with you. There's also an ATM located inside in case you forget. Not a lot of seats in there so you may end up sharing a table, but that's okay because it's a friendly kind of place. I just wish I was in this area more often and I could stop in there again

The place is definitely a hidden gem. Everything was made from scratch. I had an omelette with peppers and onions and home fries. My friend had an omelette and home fries (resembles fries) the service was fast and the server was attentive. The pricing was pretty good.

Food is tasty, HUGE pancakes! Service is good. A little bit of a tight squeeze if you are dining in. Very limited seating.

I drive by Alice's all the time and was so excited to finally stop in. This place definitely has the "Cheers" vibe, and it seemed like everyone there was a regular. There were a couple tables open when we stopped in on Saturday morning. We were immediately greeted and waited on, and all of the servers were very friendly. We ordered the kids pancake for my son, and it was huge! We ended up taking half of it home. I had the 2 eggs with toast, bacon, and hash browns, and it was delicious! The bacon was so flavorful and the hash browns were like mini fries. We were served quickly, and you could see that everything was freshly made. I definitely see why there were so many regulars there; we can't wait to go back!

This place is far from us but you can bet I will be back here again to try other dishes. The hearty omelette, DELICIOUS spicy sausages and special horseradish sauce all make this place so yummy. Please get the hash. SO CRISPY! I enjoyed a perfectly cooked breakfast here. I've honestly paid much more for much less meals. At Alice's, it's worth every dollar. Thanks for making such satisfyingly delicious breakfast meals!!!!

This place is a little slice of heaven. Cute little restaurant situated on a corner. Ample off street parking on the side. Smiling faces inside with attentive service. Food is beyond expectations. Cash only. Let's talk about the food. The coffee was hot and the waitress kept our cups full. I ordered the Scotty Omelette. We could see the kitchen from our table. It got my heart strings to see someone physical grate the potatoes that are going into the fryer. At this point I knew this was going to be a good breakfast. The waitress in a timely fashion brought my meal. Wow, it filled up the plate. I peered into omelette and couldn't waste to taste the steak, hot sausage, mushrooms, onions, peppers, mozzarella and horseradish sauce. This is one of best omelets I've ever eaten. That horseradish sauce elevated it. Now the hash browns were one of kind, crunchy and golden brown. Added a little grape jelly to the English muffin, which was toasted to perfection. I couldn't finish all the hash browns. So I was not going to get a slice of one of the decadent cakes sitting on the counter. I can't wait to be back. And also tell other people to go there and support small business.

This is the worst primantis I've EVER been too. I have been to at least 4 different primantis and…read morehave NEVER been as disrespected as I was at this location. We came in after a round of golf to relax and have a bite to eat. The meat portions on our sandwiches were so small that any cook there should've been embarrassed to serve it. As you can see from the picture, and please note, it's supposed to be a tall boy which means extra meat, there is nothing on the bun except the hard green tomato and a slice of crappy deli. They also should've just apologized in advance when serving us that our supplier gave us terrible tomatoes so we left them off the sandwich. Every other primantis I have been too has had atleast double this tiny "portion" size of meat. We're literally paying extra for a bigger sandwich and yet we got a slice of meat on a bun. Out of character for my boyfriend, he said something to the bartender about there being no meat. And she reluctantly said I'll request a new one. Then, prior to receiving the new sandwich, the bartender confronted us about the size of the sandwich, like we were being difficult, and continued with it was pre-portioned to be the same size as all other Primantis locations and would not be larger or better. All we took from this is its pre-made the day before and not fresh in any way. Given that all we said was, there's no meat and a green tomato on my bun, which is not our normal experience at Primantis, we're disappointed. She then said, If you want, Ill take both sandwiches off the bill so you'll have a free sandwich. You know, the sandwich we never ate!!! All my boyfirend said was yes, take it off the bill and close us out. And he did say its not a free sandwich if I didn't eat it!! Too bad Jim Patrinos doesn't still own the business as he would be so embarrassed at what this primantis has become. The manager (Ryan) did come over, without us requesting, to address our experience. So clearly he was clearly alerted to our dissatisfaction. He apologized profusely, made a completely new sandwich, even though we said no thanks as we needed to leave, and comped part of our check that we had already paid. Obviously to anyone reading this, Primantis will only go so far for the consumer and must be in horrible financial straights since they should've comped the whole bill. What's two drinks to a company this size, right? Well, apparently they will go out of business if you get a extra slice of meat or drink to make up for them serving you what is unacceptable for any consumer. It will take a lot for me to visit a Primanti's in the future. Their food has been going down hill for years and barely edible.

We then finally got a different bartender who took our food orders. We ordered a steak salad, a chicken salad, a taco salad and a Pittsburgh salad. It took a very long time to finally receive our food. The taco salad meat was way overcooked and hard. The steak, chicken and Pittsburgh salads were good.
