What a Concept: There are three things in the World I love, and they are Bacon, Bourbon and Beer. I was in the Washington, PA area and was researching places to eat and found this place that uses bacon in many of their dishes. I drove over to BBB3, and there was plenty of parking available in the parking lot just outside. I walked in, and for a few minutes I was the only one there. My server came over, and we walked through the Bacon, Bourbon, and Beer menus. After some discussion, I settled on trying the Bacon Flight, which was four flavours of bacon, each on two thick slices of bacon. The flight has Cajun & Bleu, which is Cajun Spice and crumbled Blue Cheese, Candied Jalapeno & Cheddar, Bourbon & Brown Sugar, and Sarris Chocolate. When you look at the photos of the flight, it doesn't look like a lot of food, but be warned, it's a shareable for a reason. To put it in perspective, it is eight thick and long slices of bacon with ingredients on them. I was planning on trying something else from the menu, but the Bacon Flight is a meal in itself; be warned. I chose an Old Forrester Bourbon from the Bourbon Menu and a local craft beer. The flight was amazing and filling, and the bourbon was a good match for the meal. Overall, a great experience, and I learned my lesson so that next time I'm there I'll try something else or bring a friend or two. If you love Bacon, Bourbon and Beer, this is the place for you. read more

Bring your appetite. Whether you're into bourbon, beer, bacon, or braised Brussels sprouts. I cannot put into words how amazing the brisket/chorizo meatloaf was. I had the good fortune of meeting the owner (Sean) and he was very gracious and knowledgeable about his bourbon. What an amazing selection. When a restaurant has a name like this, I'm going in with high expectations and I left impressed! The drinks were great, but the burger... OMG. I've been on the hunt for an excellent burger and all other places left me wanting more. I was simply blown away. Every bite left me excited about the next bite. We were greeted and seated soon after entering the restaurant, and given menus. After 10 minutes, the same young lady who seated us brought us waters and said our waitress would be with us shortly. There were 3 servers working and only 8 tables (most with only 2 people). Once the waitress/bartender came over we had been there 15 minutes. I ordered the Apple Cider Martini, which took forever to make and was overly sweet. Trying to get water refills was almost impossible. The two servers who were not ours ended up getting us more water more than once. At one point, the one server was delivering food to her 7/8-top (alone) and there were guests waiting to be seated. The other servers were no where to be found. Very disorganized. I got the WCB. It was good, but the fries were over-salted. My husband got the brisket Mac n cheese. The brisket was so hard you couldn't even cut it with a knife. Very disappointing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was outside seating available, if that is your thing. I do not like to write negative reviews. Our waitress was friendly and provided us prompt service. Only downside is that she never provided us the cocktail menu but they do not have a list of whiskeys and I see why. I ordered a single glass of High West Bourbon neat. After we went to checkout I had to perform a double check $17??? for a glass of a single neat whiskey and $2 additional for the glass?? This is awful service. For example, I can receive premium whiskey from Liberty Pole Spirits for much less for a neat glass of whiskey. I understand the up-sale of the product but $17, when I can probably get a bottle for nearly $50 at the liquor store. Other than that the food was fine, just upset my stomach. Cool spot with good food and great service! This Gastro pub just gives you a good feeling whenever you walk in. The decor is tastefully done and the restaurant itself was very clean. The bar had a nice set up with plenty of TV's to watch. We had a party of 8 and were well taken care of. Our waitress Macie really went above and beyond during our time there. She truly gave us service with a smile as they say. I ordered the Blazin Cajun Burger with fries. The fries were fresh cut and seasoned just right. The burger was very tasty and had a nice kick to it. They have a pretty good selection on their menu as far as food goes and a pretty extensive bourbon and beer menu to select from. It's also a family friendly place which is a plus. I highly recommend giving this place a try. read more

Served in pairs of 2, 2 with melted Sarris Chocolate, 2 with Bleu cheese and cajun, 2 with jalapeños and Cheddar, 2 with Bourbon and Brown Sugar. My goodness, I love this!!!! It's ridiculous, it's so good. Probably my favorite appetizer anywhere. Another app of Pork Belly, tender, juicy, with a mustard bbq sauce, very good. Service was a bit slow but I think they were understaffed. There was only one waitress for the whole restaurant so I do think she did the best considering the circumstances. The farmhouse burger was good. They cook burgers with "pink or no pink" and have a blend that's different than regular ground meat. The burger needed more cheese but the cajun bacon was nice. My spouse and I went here for dinner recently, and here is our opinion. The stuffed jalapeños were very tasty, but a little pricey for what you get. I had a B3 burger which was only mid, but my spouse had the Cajun burger which was reported to be good. The service was adequate. The waitress checked in and monitored as necessary with efficient friendliness. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was the least desirable aspect of the restaurant (besides the price). All the surfaces are hard so there's nothing to soften the noise. I had to update this review after dining there again - this time on a Saturday night. We had reservations and thank goodness for that. Of course, they asked if we wanted a high top or low top. We selected low and were seated at a high top. Ha ha ha... Why ask? It was okay, but just odd that I was asked and then seated at a high top anyway. It's not a large restaurant, but they still seemed pretty grossly understaffed. Where I sat, I could see the whole restaurant and the waitresses were running around like CRAZY and people still seemed to be waiting a long time for anything. There was only one bartender, which was clearly not enough for a crowded restaurant AND bar. They definitely needed another bartender. Most of their drinks take time (they have a lot of beers on tap, bourbons, mixed drinks, & not a lot of bottles/cans) and the only one in the restaurant NOT hustling was the bartender. From what we heard, it sounds like the bartender doesn't like working with another bartender (aka splitting tips), but the owner/management should not allow this to be an option for her, since she clearly could NOT keep up. We got 2 rounds of drinks, but would have had 3-4 rounds instead if we didn't wait ages to get each round. The owners AND the bartender should realize that the more drinks they serve the more they and the waitresses make. We saw a couple other tables clearly unhappy with their meals/slow service and this (sadly) is often reflected in the tips, which isn't fair when the wait staff is trying their best, but it's the way it typically works. A couple of extra food notes: The dinner menu was different and the meal I wanted to try my second time there wasn't an option, so I got the brisket mac & cheese and added bacon. My mac and cheese was served cold and with almost no cheese - it was mostly plain noodles with overcooked brisket and a tiny bit of bacon crumbles. VERY disappointing - especially after the delicious fried pickles. The waitress brought me some cheese sauce, which was nice, but still not enough and by then the pasta was cold again. Hahaha. At least she did her best. The bacon flight is okay.... The seasoning that should be on each set of 2 pieces of bacon was generally only on the top piece of bacon. The only exception to this was the chocolate bacon - I wouldn't get the flight again, but the fried pickles were delicious! Sadly, though both the people who ordered burgers in our party took my suggestion and requested the most pink possible, they got no pink in their burgers. It was especially odd to me that a crowded restaurant would overcook most of the food. You'd think they'd be rushing to get food out to the tables. Here's hoping they improve their service when they're busy, but at this point I wouldn't recommend going unless the restaurant is pretty empty and if you get a burger and want pink, ask for them to cook it as little as possible and cross your fingers. read more

They were of out Yuengling but he did help us choose a beer that they did have that was similar. I got the House Salad with dark vinaigrette and fries. I'm not a huge bacon or bourbon fan, but the menu offered plenty of items for all tastes! We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and were one of only a few tables there. We were seated immediately and our server came by to take our drink order right away. They had a great list of beers on tap, as well as a wide variety of wines and spirits, too. I ordered the B3 chicken handheld, and my fiancé ordered the B3 burger. We both really enjoyed them! I loved the mix of buffalo and BBQ sauce on my chicken sandwich, and he loved all of the extra "goodies" his burger was stacked high with. This place turned out to be a hidden gem and I was surprised with how good our meal was. I started with a draft from Prairie Ales alled Rainbow Sherbet, which instantly took me back to my childhood and tasted just as you would expect. Delicious! Came in today for lunch as was happy to see Heather behind the bar. We recently moved to PA from Southern California and have become regulars. From our first visit, Heather has provided top notch service and is often the only employee on duty. Today, she again was alone and was handling 25 customers on 10 different tables. Despite being alone, Heather provided exceptional service which should be acknowledged by her management. She should be given higher wages for doing to work of basically 3 employees. I have been to many bars and have never seen one person handle so many customers alone. She remains positive and upbeat despite her situation. The Serris chocolate drizzled bacon was amazing (dessert bacon ha ha) made with local chocolate. The Burbon brown sugar, OMGawd, the Cajun and Bleu Cheese, unbelievable! How could this thick easy to chew bacon be so spectacular!! So well prepared? You have got to experience it. My husband enjoyed one of the many bourbons and the cheddar cheese soup ( like beer cheese) yummy. We both sampled the great beers on tap. I had the fresh Salmon salad, and when I say fresh I mean Heather said this place doesn't have a freezer. Everything is cooked fresh. That was the best Salmon filet on a salad I had ever had that I can remember. I have to give Heather kudos because she made the whole experience being there a blast. She is a great worker, she is professional and without being pushy can sell the food and beer in a way you want to try everything!!! She was personable and made our evening so memorable. Me and my Mrs. came across this place after wanting some good burgers and fries...this place did not let us down. First off the tap menu they have is great, they have awesome imports to IPA's and local on tap. We had sampled a good amount and each one was so hard to choose from as they were all incredible. I ended up going with a vanilla bean IPA and it was like a beautiful coffee if you're into that while the Mrs. had a lighter beer that more of fruity one but still very good. We started off with the bacon spread appetizer that was sooooooo good and my first of its kind. I could snack on that daily. We both had burgers and enjoyed the hell out of them, the lady had their baked Mac n Cheese on the side which was phenomenal. I had the triple 3 burger or whatever the huge one is. It was so good but a little too big to eat regularly so I had to take the pinion rings off to actually fit it lol. The fries were great, perfectly cut and just the right texture of salt and crunchiness. Tried this over the weekend and liked it. I didn't partake in any alcohol on this trip, but it looked like they had a very nice draft list in addition to the types of booze you'd expect (I mean check the name.) The restaurant space is quite nice, but it was a bit chilly in there. The service was great and the presentation on every dish was outstanding. The food overall was good to great. As you can expect, the menu is heavy on bacon. You can order bacon flights by themselves and nearly every item on the menu involves bacon in some way. We split a bacon jam appetizer, served on crostinis (recommended). The jalapeño cornbread and sprouts sides we ordered also were quite good. My entree was a stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon. It was good and satisfying, but not quite as good as I was hoping. It was a brand new item to the menu though so it could be a work in progress that may get better with time. Still worth checking out, I'd say, and it's likely a place I'll revisit some day if I find myself in the area. read more

We found this place on a girls shopping trip at the outlets and figures we try it out. We know that it is Covid and they are short staffed, so we will not talk about slow service because this is just what happens when there are only two workers in a restaurant running around like crazy people. I will say I ordered the appetizer of the fried pickles and absolutely loved them. I am not usually a fan of beer batter but these were cooked perfect and I loved the sundried tomato aioli. I also ordered the mushroom burger and it was perfectly cooked and the fries were excellent as well. I wish I would of took pictures. everyone else in our group absolutely loved their food too and every morsel was gone, no one took home leftovers. They did have an excellent selection of beers but I did not order any alcohol this trip. When and if I'm back in the area I will definitely stop here and order a beer and a sandwich. read more

I ate here with friends recently and was really excited to try this place based on its name alone. I left thinking I had an OK meal and a nice out with my friends. Easily the best part of the night was my table sharing a delicious bacon flight; I think there are usually four types of covered bacon in this order, but our group opted to only get a plate of the Sarris chocolate covered bacon and the brown sugar bacon. They were DELISH - an amazing appetizer and one I'd love to order again. The rest of the meal, while fair, admittedly wasn't as impressive as that delicious bacon. I ordered their bourbon sour cocktail and I have to confess - I've had better sours. This one wasn't bad, but it lacked the flavor and alcohol content that go into a really great sour. I also ordered the WCB burger, and again: while it wasn't a bad tasting burger, it could have been better. My biggest disappointment was that the patty was way too dry, and I ended up covering it in ketchup to help make it tastier and easier to eat. The french fries were the best part of my main course for sure, as they were fresh and perfectly seasoned. This is the kind of place I would come back to if friends suggested it, but at the same time I wouldn't be likely to suggest it myself, at least not if I was in the mood for a burger. They do have other appetizers, drink options, and a grilled cheese menu, so with luck, future visits will yield an updated review. For now, I have to rate the place a 3.5 - it's a great space with lovely staff, but unfortunately most of my order did not leave an impression beyond "meh". read more
