The food was terrible worst king crab leg ive ever had . The sausage was like what you get at the dollar store. The shrimp was ok and the egg and potato were oknas well . Not woth the 55 dollars not even close . I've heard similar things from other people . Dont waste your money. read more

Fried Catfish was NOT as fresh this time as last time. Very muddy flavor vs oil logged (not fresh). If you get it FRESH It's great! Hit or miss unfortunately. The onion rings were oil logged. I never had a seafood boil before, but this was excellent! We got the large seafood platter and split it amongst the three of us. It was a Tuesday evening. The service was great. The waitress was attentive. She asked what seasoning and level of spice we wanted. The snow crab, whole scrimp, and crayfish were fresh. The mussels and clams were a bit tough. Still, everything was seasoned nicely. We should have rolled the bag to disperse the seasoning retrospectively. The location has adequate parking off of Route 19, close to the outlets and casino. Dinner date with my dad, and it was absolutely amazing! We were a little worried in the beginning considering we were the only people there. Yikes, I was sweating. Then, the magic happened. Started out with the most wonderful, welcoming waitress. She was extremely kind and helpful! However, the food was even better. Genuinely got what we paid for, and I couldn't have asked for a better dinner! You for sure need the gloves and bib, cause the food is so good, your last concern would be the mess. I can tell that the seafood boil here is always fresh because I can break open the crab legs easily! The flavor is great and for good value! I was super excited to try this place since it's like a seafood boil, but I was disappointed. First, the restaurant smells really fishy; now, before you say DUH, I've worked at two seafood restaurants for a total of 6 years, and I've never had one of my restaurants smell like this. My friend and I had shrimp, scallops, catfish, and hush puppies. The hush puppies were really doughy. The scallops were the best part of the meal but were small. I did not like the fried shrimp at all, and the grilled shrimp was overdone. The fried catfish was disgusting and borderline inedible. I love catfish and it isn't usually on menus around here so I was extra disappointed. Considering the quality, prices are very high. Scallops were $23, grilled shrimp was about $16, and fried shrimp was $14. You did get a lot of hush puppies for the price, but we weren't a fan. We spent about $70 and left hungry. I probably won't be back, which is unfortunate because I was really looking forward to a new seafood place in the area with crab legs and oysters. I would much rather travel to Pittsburgh for a nice seafood dinner. read more

Seafood tango takes over the short-lived c Chinese buffet location in Washington. The concept of seafood boil really has not taken off much in this metro area and definitely attempts to fill the niche. New to the area, I believe it has been operating for a few months and has some knicks to work out. Overall, the concept is good and variety of seafood options are sufficient. Fried items: Hush puppies - crispy, hot and quite tasty. Catfish -light crunchy breading and tender inside. Shrimp - Not crispy, not hot (could be from under a heat lamp) Seafood boil bag - the boil bag included a decent amount of corn and potatoes with the mussels, crawfish and shrimps ordered. The sauce could use a kick or a flavor adjustment as it was on the bland side; I did order the one that mixed all the flavors together (other places call it the whole sha-bang sauce). In addition, the boil bag needed to be more hot temperature-wise. I suspect that they were careful not to overcook the seafood this way. I would recommend perhaps the sauce can be heated hot prior so that when mixed and shaken in the bag, it still is hot to serve. I would try again with hopes of the aforementioned tweaks included. read more

My husband and I tried Seafood Tango the other night. The hostesses were friendly and we were quickly seated. Our server was nice, but he appeared a bit overwhelmed. The server provided us with a bib, gloves, and wet wipes for our meal. We ordered hush puppies as an appetizer. They were okay, but really nothing special. I ordered a pound of snow crab legs. This came with corn and potatoes as well. The crab legs were perfectly cooked and very fresh. The potatoes were very good, but the corn was a little overcooked. I got the medium creamy garlic sauce and it was very tasty. My husband ordered snow crab legs and shrimp with medium cajun sauce. He enjoyed his meal as well. Because the server appeared to be working most of the tables alone, it did take a while to get our check at the end of our meal. Other than that, we were happy with our service and food. My husband and I just found this place. This style of serving is huge in California so I am excited we have one around here. I am not sure what the bad reviews are about, yes they serve in a bag, that is the point. If you didn't know what you were getting into then that's on you. The service (although sometimes a bit slow) is fantastic. Linda (our server) is great, she's always attentive and friendly. The food itself is on point for western PA, and reminds me of the places in California we frequented. We have made this a weekly visit! It's wonderful to have some diversity in the area. This is a Chinese restaurant turned into a poor seafood restaurant. It was horrible! There were 5 people in my party and we all ordered crab, shrimp, scallops, crawfish, and sides. They do not serve melted butter with their seafood nor do they put butter or any seasoning on the corn, or other vegetables. We stopped for lunch and ordered king crab, lobster, shrimp and snow crab. We ordered mild creamy garlic sauce. Everything arrived in a big steamer bag on top of a steel tray. After dawning our bibs and gloves we proceeded to dig in. Everything was excellent, the lobster tails were good size and everything was cooked perfectly. The key is dipping everything in the sauce at the bottom of the bag, so good! I'll warn you it's not cheap. Our lunch bill was $125.00 tip included. That being said, seafood is not cheap, and the quality was excellent. I'm absolutely going back again. Give this place a try for seafood. It's absolutely worth it. read more

Finally found a good seafood restaurant near Pittsburgh! It's very similar to a lot of the seafood places I've been to on the West Coast. Wow, we're we wrong. The food was amazing! We made our own combo with shrimp, crawfish and green mussels with Cajun seasoning and medium spice level. Each item was perfectly cooked and I could have drank the seasoning. We kept dipping our onion rings into it. One of the best seafood dishes I've had in a while! I ordered take out for the first time last week and dinner was pretty tasty!! Here's my take on what we ordered. Hush Puppies: Crispy and a good size. Good but not the best I've ever had. Wings: Way too fried and over crispy. Onion rings: meh... save room for something else. Clams: Very good, a little on the small side but tasted great. Snow Crabs: Very very tasty!!!! Shrimp & Sausage: Delicious! We opted for head on. The sausage tastes great with some rice. Every 1lb bag comes with corn and potatoes. The potatoes are just filler. The corn was great in the sauce and it tasted like fresh corn, not the frozen mushy stuff. The sauces: we did Tango Tango mild and creamy garlic. Both big winners in my house. Went in October to try it. Not much to look at but the food is worth it. Got the headless shrimp boil. Very tasty. And there was more than enough to satisfy my hunger. Price wasn't to bad either. $20 for a pound of shrimp I think is a very reasonable price for seafood. Next time might try something other than shrimp. read more

Overall really good seafood boil. Sides are a bit underwhelming. A refreshing addition to Washington I got a lb each of snowcrab and Headless shrimp with the potatoes, corn, and added sausage. The flavor was really good and the seafood was cooked well. I'd personally prefer about 10x more garlic in the boil sauce. It was ok. Had higher expectations for what they charge you. Steamed vegetables were way undercooked and hard. Scallops we ordered were good but only come with teriyaki sauce.
