This is the best steak in the area! The potatoes are huge and are a filling meal in itself. I love the asparagus and the carrots. We were attending a basketball game in the area and wanted to grab dinner, so we stumbled upon white barn supper club. It reminds me of an old school mom and pop place - there's a u-shaped bar when you walk in the door with some tables around to the left and a small room to your right with additional tables. It was pretty clear when we walked in that it's a local favorite - we felt like everyone knew we were not local. But that dissipated quickly when a waitress greeted us and took us to a table. They were quite busy on a Friday evening, but the service was relatively quick once we got started. My daughter got the pierogies and I ordered the filet. Each of our meals came with a side salad - and let me tell you, that "side" salad could have been a meal itself. Not only was it large, it was a good variety of veggies and black olives. My daughter also ordered a side of meatballs and they were just okay - there was something about the taste and texture that neither of us liked nor could we pinpoint what was turning us off exactly. They almost tasted stale. The pierogies were delicious, including the browned onions. My filet had a nice sear and was cooked medium rare as I ordered, but it has a bit of an oily coating that was a little off putting. The flavor was good, but I prefer my steak with a little seasoning. The asparagus was overcooked and mushy, but the baked potato was massive and cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious! There were eight of us and had reservations for dinner at 5:30. Table was ready when we arrived. Food was ordered from appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees and pb cake (to go). I had the grilled tuna with green beans and the biggest baked potato I ever saw. White barn is my local go to! The owner AJ is a real friendly and down to earth. I've never had a bad meal. They regularly have some stuff that isn't on the menu, if you're a regular you know to ask. Buffalo shrimp, cheese bread, zucchini fries, stuff like that. The salads are huge! Definitely can get 2-3 meals out of one unless you're starving. The cheesesteaks are always awesome. If you haven't had their asiago gnocchi, you must try, they're like little pillows of cheesy deliciousness! If they have the chocolate/peanut butter cake, definitely try a piece. They get really busy on Fridays and Saturdays so go early or reserve a table. read more

Heard good and bad about this little gem of a bar/restaurant in Dunlevy. Forgot about the bad. Made reservations and it was a good thing because the place was packed. Had the shrimp scampi over angel hair and it was delicious. The salad was amazing as well, with real veggies in it plus hard boiled egg and cheese. An excellent hidden gem in the valley. Only open for dinner service hours. Excellent food and drink. It can get busy but they also take reservations. The Asiago gnocchi is a favorite of mine. I was totally shocked that a small place like this would have such great food but then again what small place doesn't. I got a steak, baked potato, and vegetable that was great.
