Change is good. I am a big fan of another Sub Shop and after passing Which Wich for about a year, I finally decided to give them a try. I walked directly to the counter to look at their menu and they directed me to the wall with a ton of brown bags and sharpies. This is all new to me so I grabbed the bag and sharpie and checked off the items I wanted to purchase. My first visit was on a Wednesday and they offer the Wicked sandwich for $5.00. This sandwich comes with a variety of meat, cheese and other toppings. ( The price has now increased to $6.00). There are so many options to choose from. I'm picky so I excluded about half the toppings on my sandwich. I couldn't believe it when I saw french fries on the menu. I actually had to look up and see it for myself. Yes, they offer the option of french fries or potato chips. I didn't purchase chips or fries on my visit but I will keep it in mind on my next visit. About ten minutes later, my name was called and I picked up my sandwich. When they handed it to me it was warm. I didn't know that they toast all of their sandwiches so this is a plus. I originally planned on eating my sandwich at home but how could I waste a warm sandwich getting cold. I decided to eat my sandwich in my car. :). My sandwich was toasted perfect and had just the right amount of toppings and it was delicious. I can't believe I waited this long to try this place. I have been back two more times since my last visit and I will definitely be back in the future. If you are a Vegan, Vegetarian or prefer gluten free, they have you covered and a kids menu. If you plan on buying a PB&J sandwich for your kids, they will donate a PB&J sandwich in your community through Project PB&J for a kid. If you have room for dessert or want to have something sweet for later, they have shakes and cookies. I can't offer an opinion on the sweets because I haven't tried them yet. I didn't realize that have a reward program, no one ever mentioned it to me before and I missed out on rewards for three visits but that's ok. Make sure you ask about the program and sign up. Went back the next day, not to complain but to get a cookie offered for filling out a survey. I didn't even complain about the order. They tried to get out of a silly cheap cookie. I have ordered from here many times and have always gotten exactly what I ordered. The employees are super nice and the owner is too. I had no issues using my rewards from the app. My sandwich was made quickly and everything was fresh. Restaurant was clean and still has tables closed off to allow for social distancing. There are also a few tables outside to take in some fresh air while you eat. The food is a 5 for a sandwich shop. The service is often too slow for me, even when I place an Internet order. They do have great subs though! Meatball and cheesesteak are my favorites! It is a 3.5/5 or higher. If they had faster service this place would be s 4/5. To their credit, they did have a 'Help Wanted' sign posted on the door. I love their app and Internet ordering! I chanced upon this place on my way out of Dallas on a road trip to AR. First time visit to any of their locations. Holy crap! Why has no one taken me here before?? I got turkey, bacon and ranch with avacado on wheat, toasted. I like how it was cut into halves, not just the sandwich, but through the paper as well. This allowed me to eat my sandwich as I drove and not make a disgusting mess of myself along the way! It was so, so, so good! MMMMMMMM!!! It was warm and toasty with loads of avacado. Ordered online for carry out. Reuben was great. Tender pastrami. Sauerkraut was not smelly. Rye bread was delicious and not too dry nor soggy. Tasted rosemary? Also ordered the gyro. Would not recommend that item. Too salty. Dry too. Maybe not many people order it and meat dries out while on the kebab spinner thing. I shouldn't have removed the red onions. That would have made the gyro better. Got there and it was ready. So was the extra Reuben order from my colleague. He didn't like the reuben but I loved it. Just had 2 sandwiches delivered. Ordered a French Dip. On our prior order, we did not get the dip(au jus) for the sandwich( that was the third time it happened)This time it was specifically requested in the order instructions. Received the dip, but it was on its side spilled all over the bag. When I called the store , the person who answered the phone was extremely nice, but said there wasn't anyone who could fix the problem tonight. She said she would leave a note for the GM. I walked in, and an employee was messing with the mop and mop bucket, then he proceeds to ring me up without washing hands, or wearing gloves, then he hands me my cup with those dirty hands, then he opens the food coverings with still dirty hands, then after he opens the food up, he proceeds to put his gloves on! This is my NEW favorite place to get a sub. This blows Subway out the water. You walk in and it can be a bit overwhelming because of all the choices. I had the clubwich and it was great. So I had an interesting experience at Which Wich today. My wife ordered the mufaletta. I had a few bites, all in all pretty tasty although not quite my favorite. Here is the kicker, my sandwich was kinda mediocre. It was a vegetarian bean patty sandwich...it was not what I ordered. The lady who took my order made the sandwich and handed them to me, apparently she mixed them up. Shame on me for not looking at the bag but seriously since it was the same person I ordered from I just assumed. 2 teenagers were working there today 9/17. My husband asked young girl at register a question and she just looked at him and mumbled her answer. I ordered a salad and some of what I ordered was left out. My husband ordered a French dip and the sauce was not even warm. Our order was to go so we didn't realize order wasn't right until we got home. I have been there before and service was great and order perfect. This chain is one of the best sub chains in the country. The Rockwall store is great with an always friendly staff. The menu allows you a wide selection of options and since you write your selections on the sandwich bag and the sub is made from that what can go wrong. read more

The combinations are endless, and I love that they have so many choices of cheese, condiments, etc. You walk in and select your 'bag' based on the meat choice, then fill in the rest. It takes the pressure off of being in line trying to make selections too quickly, like at Subway. The bread is fresh (and soft), and each sandwich is thoroughly wrapped to seal in all the goodness. Tried this place after several years of not trying it. Now I recall the reasons I I never went back. To explain. I ordered a wicked based upon the photo and the list of ingredients. Looked great, ordered it with mayo and oil and vinegar. What I got was bread, what may have been the most pathetic amount of meat you could not see, not any other ingredients except one. The mayonnaise. Plenty of it. So I ate a bite or two and tossed the rest. Ranks right up with the worse sandwich I ha e ever had, even though bread is good, how they go about matching the sand which to the picture is so far from accurate. Bad experience. Will not go back even if Managemnent tries to give hits cards. Here is a hint. Give them to someone that will use them. I am going to hit a subway next time and I am not looking forward to that, but any place is better than Which Wich when it comes to serving a quality sandwich. This is perhaps my 50th time eating at this Which Wich location and they do it right. Perfect every single time and the staff is so pleasant and personable. They also had great promotions the week between Christmas and New Years Day. We are there 3 times that week. Which Wich in Rockwall is currently testing gluten-free Local Oven sub roll and it is DELICIOUS, probably one of the best GF sandwiches I have had. I hope that they will start doing gluten-free at other locations throughout DFW. It was definitely worth the $2 extra you pay for it. read more
