    Small Caesar Salad** ($14)
    Heidi M.

Have to admit that I didn't have a great experience my first time. I think it was the Caesar salad's extremely rich and salty anchovies that ran right through me (tmi!) I remember the New Haven and cobble hill pies were pretty decent, but something ultimately didn't sit right after that meal. I had wanted to give them another shot since I heard such great things and saw that it made the NYTimes list (!) so over a year later I finally returned. I was much happier this time around with the arugula salad, the Bay Ridge pie and even the passionfruit ginger house soda - everything was fantastic. Service was also great.

Loved this place! It is small and was quite crowded when we went on a Saturday but it was worth the wait. We tried a couple of different pizzas and the Cesar salad. I really enjoyed the pizza with vodka sauce, and I appreciated them having an option for 100% beef pepperoni as that's hard to find and my friend has a pork allergy. They have a lot of options, and the dough of the pizzas is tasty and very fresh. Highly recommend!

Great pizza! I love a good tavern style pizza and this place we did definitely delivers. The crunchiness of the sourdough crust with the cheese and amazing marinara sauce, definitely pairs well with some pepperoni if you want that little meat kick. Great space and service is amazing. Has a full bar and some fun drinks on the menu. Definitely will be back to try out more of their amazing pizza combos on their menu.

They're not joking when they tell you to line up before their opening time: we got here on a Saturday at 5:03p (they open at 5p) and there were just a handful of seats at the bar left. Within 15 minutes, there was already a line outside the door. The place is TINY. We got a Sunset Park and a Ditmas Park. They have two sizes to choose from, so it's perfect for any sized group. The pizza is very crunchy all throughout, with the crust slightly burned, and it's very filling. Plan on under ordering, or you'll have to bring some home. I don't find it to be life changing, but I guess people love this place. For me it was just an average pizza.

Great local pizza shop for elevated pizza option. They use a sourdough crust/dough which really sets them apart. They have seasonal/weekly special that are very "diffrent" but in a good way. I'd definitely recommend try them. They also have New Haven style pizzas as well.

Food, service, and atmosphere were all phenomenal. Meatballs (appetizer) were life changing and the sourdough pizza is worth traveling for. THE destination to hit if you're going to a show at Kings Theater.

Really delicious pizza and amazing quality and topping ratio for the price. I've been to other pizza spots that have the same price but half the flavor and quality that Wheated has. Love this neighborhood joint and the service was impeccable, staff was so polite and kind despite some customers being rude and antsy. Just remember it can get real busy, folks! If they can't get to you within 3 minutes then just wait, no need to be mean to them.

I would put Wheated up there with all the pizza titans in NYC - it's that good! Always solid no matter what pie you get. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable. It does get pretty crowded so I always order for pick up. Now the bagels and biscuits - holy moly! So good how can the same spot make solid pizza and solid bagels?! A true NY unicorn!

Vinegar Hill Pizza with bacon added
    Cristina D.

We got the vinegar hill pizza with bacon added and it was absolutely phenomenal--every bite was delicious and the crust was honestly chef's kiss! The meatballs with ricotta were also delicious and a really generous serving with fresh cheese shredded ontop! The service was great and very fast--5 stars there without a doubt. The drinks were where we lost a star here honestly--great ingredients and I wanted to love them but the cocktails were just a little on the sweeter side for my liking. If you like sweet though? Definitely a place for you! The restaurant itself is smaller without a HUGE amount of seating and they don't take reservations either. My advice? Get there when they open or after the dinner rush if you're wanting to sit down for a meal and you won't be disappointed. They fill up quick which is no surprise because they're one of the best slices I've had in the city! It's a can't miss place if you haven't tried it. These guys really know what they're doing when it comes to pizza and I will be back!

Lovely service at this hip spot near Prospect Park. I just got a Cesar salad to go and it was delicious. Excellent dressing! I would definitely go back to try the pies. It's super cute inside and the pizza I saw others eating looked great. Tiny place, I can see why it fills up so quickly, I was there early and it was already pretty crowded.

Amazing pizza place in Brooklyn. We had to make reservations beforehand as the place was packed by 530pm. We got a few different New Haven style pizzas. Of them, the vodka sauce and NY slice pizzas were the best. Service was excellent. The F.U.B.A.R cocktail was delicious. Overall great experience.

    Christopher D.

Quality pizza and when you're there definitely try the bacon. Service was good and friendly. It can get pretty full so try to go earlier. Ambiance is a bit cramped though as seating is limited. Also they're closed on Monday and Tuesdays. They have a well stocked bar and you can see them making the pizza. Overall a good experience and will def come back.

My friend ordered the butterfly field mocktail, which I highly recommend if you're not in the mood for alcohol, it was absolutely delicious. I ordered two of their signature cocktails: Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (best way I can describe it is it's like a high end cologne in cocktail form, but in the best way possible? Very complex flavors) and the Queen of the Desert (cool refreshing cucumber followed by a spicy heat in the back of your throat, grew on me over time). Food was also quite good. I enjoyed the truffle popcorn and I still have no idea how they made those lemongrass chicken ginger dumplings so yummy (I normally don't even like chicken dumplings bc they're usually not as juicy as pork, but these didn't have that problem). They gave us a tiny sample of one of their house-made liquors at the end-- let me tell you, I'm not the biggest fan of just having liquor on its own but dang, that went down sooooo smoothly.

I put it in my back pocket as a place I might go in the future. I was recently walking in the area when I noticed a sign saying it was open for coffee. Of course I went to check it out. At the main counter, they serve the classics (mocha, latte, chai, matcha) plus a few specials. My cookie butter matcha (with oat and flavored syrup) was less than 6 dollars. It wasn't my favorite matcha, it was a pretty good deal in comparison to other cafes in the area. They have a coffee club where you pay $40 a month for free drinks (coffee or tea based), 10% of items like cocktails, food and wine. Plus you are able to use their wifi in their space which has a funky plush aesthetic. Definitely good for people who need a place to work. It is an interesting way of using this space in the morning. Of course I was told about their happy hour and the jazz Mondays. I would come back to attend that.

The interior is cozy with a number of arranged seating areas so parties of folks can gather together.
