Quick lunch break to the Whataburger on Normandy Blvd and had a great experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food was delicious, as always, with my burger fresh and hot, we decided on the 10 pack Burger Box which allowed us all the option of adding lettuce, tomatoes, onions or pickles to our hamburgers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were friendly and efficient, getting my order out quickly even during a busy time. The location was clean and well-maintained, which made for a pleasant dining experience. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is that the walk up line was a bit slow, but it's a minor issue given the quality of the food and service. Overall, a solid Whataburger location that I'd definitely recommend!

We had no issues at this location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food was well prepared and freshly hot[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the cashier was friendly and offered suggestions. The dining area was clean, too. Again, we had no issues.

My wife and I both got the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. Both were just ok. It was a quick stop and go for dinner.

Please bring a Whataburger to Longwood! I have to admit we went to Wendy's first because we don't have a Whataburger and I usually love a baked potato and chili for my gluten allergy. They didn't have either! The place was dirty, there was no one at the counter, I waited too long to find out about the lack of my meal and they couldn't blame it on a shortage of workers. There 4 workers on the line and 3, yes 3, on the window. Enough about Wendy's. Let me tell you about Whataburger. I was greeted right away by someone friendly ready to take my order. The only "beef" I had with them, was the fact that the person on the register didn't know what was good for a gluten allergy. But, hey, they HAD someone on the register and the inside was very clean. Will, the manager, came over and told me about my options. Then he alerted everyone on the line. The sweet cashier, hand delivered a receipt with my allergy written on it. They gave my a hamburger platter with lettuce tomato and pickles. I could even have the fries because they are fried separately. Usually Will said they wipe down the counter etc but he made my meal separate and he got fresh condiments/ veggies from the back. They didn't have my favorite drink, Coke Zero, but Diet Dr. Pepper is a close second! What a difference-Whataburger Thank-you, Will and Whataburger

Stopped here to carry out during a road trip of ours. Good food, friendly staff. Food took a bit to come out, but everything was popping hot, fresh, and our entire order correct. Tables and booths very clean; floor, however, felt very, very sticky at parts. Grossed us out a bit. Such a shame because the tables were spotless. All in all, a good fast food experience. Will not hesitate to stop here again on my next visit to my in-laws.

    This is really good!

My first Whataburger experience. These burgers are really good. Got the double combo. I love the spicy ketchup. The fries are super hot. Everything was good.

This is Normandy Blvd., not Avondale, so you'll have to excuse the blackout window at the drive-through and the lackluster furnishings. I come here for one reason.....wait, make that 2. First off, it's 2 minutes from my house....I mean, so is McDonalds, but I know better than to try and go to McDs for ice cream. Secondly...Blizzards. Need I say more? Is it too early to use "It's the Holidays" as a fat food excuse yet? I mean September-ish is practically October-ish, and with October comes Halloween, so yes, in my maniacal foodie mind...."it's the Holidays." My go-to fave is the Butterfinger Blizzard....and fries, of course, because sweet and salty, why not? I've tried their burger once and that was enough for me...flavorless and uninspired are mere understatements. I do, however appreciate that their Ranch dip is made from Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning and not out of a bottle, because it's not the same and tastes so much better. I MEANT to order their newest Blizzard flavor, the Cinnamon Roll Centers (sounds delish, right?), but I guess I was flying on autopilot because I got the Butterfinger one instead. No big deal, my fries were piping hot, my Blizzard had that crispety-crunchety peanut buttery taste that i love, and nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger! Service is a contrast between "Hello, welcome to Dairy Queen, may I take your order?" to "Go ahead and order." Although there have been highs and lows throughout the years, I have never experienced the long wait times and attitudes that other reviewers have mentioned. The young lady at the window this evening was actually pretty cool, so all in all, it's actually not that bad. Till next time, my fellow Yeeps, thanks for reading, and as always...SYOY!

I was craving it and it was almost all I could think about. I was so extremely excited for this moment. And when I went to this location I was more than let down. To say I was devastated may be an overstatement to some people but to me it wasn't. My original blizzard was mocha. It tasted like burnt acidic garbage. When I mentioned it to the staff she blew me off saying that's what coffee is. No absolutely not. That's NOT what tastes like. She finally exchanged it for me for a vanilla blizzard with cookie dough, brownie, and choc syrup. This was extremely underwhelming. There was no brownies in it. It was so liquidy. A blizzard should be flipped upside down and stay in the cup. If you flipped this upside down it wouldn't spilled all over me. But I think the worst part of all of this was the employees attitude. She acted like she hated her job and personally hated me. She turned a rare treat into a complete disaster. I will never ever come back to this location and quite possibly never come back to DQ as a whole.

About that time I realize that quite a few customers that came in after me had already gotten their sandwiches. When I went up to check my order there was in a row of bags and I had no idea how long it had been sitting there. They just didn't call me. By then the sub was soggy, and the pickle was limp and warm. All in all pretty poor service by a staff that clearly put no pride in the work they do. We ordered two kids burgers and two slushies. I haven't been here in years!!! Honestly the burgers were just ok. Very small (keep in mind they were kids burgers) with very little condiments on them. The meat didn't have much taste though. I'm thinking they need to have at least more seasonings on it! Just my opinion! The fries were very good! The slushy drinks were very good! I loved mine! I ordered the strawberry lemonade slushy and I loved the flavor. It also had chucks of strawberry all in it. Definitely will come back and get another slushy for sure! Negative: I had to keep asking them for everything after we received our order... "hey when you get a chance can we get some ketchup". "Oh also noticed we didn't receive any napkins".... Another thing I noticed one whole row of parking places where you pull up and order was broken (maybe 10 places). No signs stating they were broken. People would pull up and park and try and figure out what they wanted and then push the button to talk to an attendant and no one would answer. After a few minutes I would hear them yell out the window at the workers and the workers would say " all those machines are broken".... Wow; why wouldn't they just put a sign on all those parking places letting people know! Some people pulled out and just left!

There was a decent amount of parking which I was surprised about given the location. The line was to the door when we arrived. The line went pretty quickly, about 5 minutes to get our order taken. I opted for the Hurricane burger, my son opted for a basic cheeseburger with only pickle. We also ordered fries and onion rings for the table. Our food took about 15 minutes, during this time, we saw a tray of fries sitting in the window. We were hoping it was not our order as they would be cold by the time our burgers were completed, however they called us and sure enough it was ours. We touched the fries and they were very cold. We told the employee, who knew the issue and they remade the fries. I'm glad they didn't make an issue about it, but also disappointing because the employees thought it was okay to even serve cold fries. The burgers were fantastic. The hurricane had so much flavor, I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. The onion rings were good and the fries were decent. My son loved his burger and the rest of the family enjoyed their meal. I've visited this location today as part of our fried chicken challenge for dinner. There is a…read moreconveniently located Popeyes across the street so I stopped and got a family size dinner at each place which included around eight or nine pieces of chicken and two large size and four biscuits. The price at churches was $16, the price at Popeyes is $20. There were two cars in line in front of me in the drive-through when I arrived at approximately 9:20 PM. It took Hey solid 10 or 12 minutes to make my way through the drive-through line. When I was in the window there were four cars behind me waiting, and nobody seemed happy about it. Since the interior has a glass wall it was easy to see what was going on inside. The staff had all the chairs up on the tables and we're cleaning up. I feel like they were spending a lot more effort cleaning up to leave and they work at serving the remaining customers through the drive-through. They were insanely slow. I ordered the family dinner and I ordered a five dollar box dinner which would be three chicken strips and a side and a biscuit. Actually, there were two sides, one was jalapeño poppers although they call them something else and I got mashed potatoes. Popeyes mashed potatoes are hands-down the winner in this competition. Churches taste exactly like second grade school lunch. So my box of chicken and the other small box came and I asked her for some dipping sauce for my chicken strips at which time she looked at me dumb late like what chicken strips? Turns out she had given me two more pieces of chicken in that five dollar box and she wanted to argue with me about what I ordered even though she repeated it back to me when I was ordering at the speaker box It's pretty obvious she was more than ready to get out of there and she was anxious for me to get the heck out of the way so she can take care of the rest of the cars. She was marginally friendly, very perfunctory, and displayed no noticeable personality whatsoever. I don't understand why restaurants don't get it that the face they displayed through that drive-through window is the face that represents the whole establishment. You should put your game face on if you're going to stick your face out that window. So onto the chicken. I got the regular not the spicy. It was good but not great. I would say it is above like Seiyu Piccadilly, and in fact this flavor of the meet might have been a smidge better than Popeyes even, but it wasn't fantastic, was not noteworthy, it wasn't any kind of knock your socks off it was just OK. Their gimmick is that they give you a free jalapeño. They act like it's a big deal but it's literally just a pickled jalapeño out of a can. It's irrelevant to the production. So this might be my first visit to churches and probably will also be my last. I have just never had any reason to go there before this. Additionally the chicken strips are much smaller than the strips at Popeyes and have substantially less flavor. In the land of fried chicken and barbecue, there is nothing to make this place stand out. It's kind of a dingy little place that you might go to if nothing else is open but, there's a Popeyes directly across the street that has the same hours so I guess that's never going to happen. This place is really a two however because the flavor of the chicken meat (not the breading though) was better than Popeyes to get a bonus start making it a 3.
