We decided to try a new Whataburger in Daphne, AL. Drive up was easy but slow considering not a lot of customers, It was a new building so that was nice. The fries were just ok nothing I would go back for. the burger I ordered with onion, tomato and mustard. That's all I could taste! The burger, I've had potato chips thicker than that mashed hammered paper thin brown thing. All I could think of was the old Wendy's slogan "Where's the Beef" Well it's not at Whataburger!! read more

This is a very awkward location. Go thru drive thru and they have two lines .. keep in mind this is not average drive thru line. One line is at the window and they other line is on the opposite side. The line that's on the opposite side has to wait all day for them to take your money and bring your food.. they should have kept it simple. I suggest if visiting this location get in the inner lane. Fries seem old looking, but were hot. Fajita was hot, the only thing that bother me was that I asked boy if he put ketchup and salsa and bag. He had to go back to get it for me .. cool. But when I got ready to eat why he only put one salsa and keep in mind their salsa is very small.. ugh. read more

Premium hamburger restaurant chain. It has an old school feel. The food is made fresh. There enough room for about 50 people. We received excellent customer service. I ordered a double meat cheeseburger & fries. The sandwich was huge and I couldn't finish it (at first), it was hot and juicy. Place was packed and the drive through was probably 20 cars deep so I went in and ordered. I had the bacon cheese burger with fries & a strawberry shake. It was all good but I payed for a large and was given a small I should've looked before I left because Eli was not. E highway and headed east before I knew it. read more

That was THE worst Whataburger experience ever. My husband son & I just left that place & were so disappointed. I want my money back. All three of our burgers were cold cheese not even melted. Fries cold & hard. Took way longer than it should have. It was so awful. I grew up in Corpus & have been eating amazing Whataburger meals all over Texas and even in Oklahoma but I've never had it taste this awful. I say to please give this location another try. I have been there a few times since they hit the 10:00 local news and all of the meals have been very good. Service is still also very good. I have not been inside to enjoy the ambiance but believe the gentleman that works the eat-in customers is still doing an excellent job. I would bet you 10ea Number 2 meals that the restaurant was fully cleaned and visitors evicted the next morning. Also, the Health Department would not have allowed them to reopen without a thorough inspection. C'mon !! Daphne & Spanish Fort... This is Whataburger... we waited for years for them to open a location in our neck of the woods. Let's show them some love. It's a great time of year to do just that ! Slow. Second time we've came and the first time we had to leave it took so long without ordering. This time we are waiting and yes it's a little busy but they have no urgency or care. SO SLOW. Be prepared to be there for at least 30 min at the drive thru. read more

I am so impressed with the service I received from the staff there. She was so awesome, made sure I had a straw and noticed I didn't. Went back to get one, was about to give it to me, but notices it was open, went back and got me another one that wasn't opened. I definitely thanked her. Service was extremely slow. Waited 5 min at order window for someone to take order. Place was not busy. Only ordered three tenders and small fry and it took 35 min to get food. I have been to nice set-down restaurants that was crowded and got food faster. Definitely poor management. read more

Wow this fast food restaurant is crazy busy with the drive through line wrapped around the building at 11 am. This is my first visit to the new Whataburger restaurant in Daphne today. The wait was not long to order our food. Customer service was friendly and efficient. I ordered the Whataburger Jr. meal deal and replaced the fries with onion rings and my husband had had the mushroom Swiss burger with onion rings and a strawberry milkshake. The restaurant brings your drinks to your table and you take a number to your table to wait fir delivery of your order. An employee brings your meal and a tray of condiments which are individually packaged and you request the ones you need. My husband said his burger was very delicious and his strawberry milkshake was just average with just a vanilla milkshake with a swirl of strawberry syrup swirled through it. My Whataburger Jr. was basically tasteless. Not my choice next time! The onion rings were delicious and so glad I skipped the fries. An employee was continually checking on the customers to see if refills were needed and cleared our table when our meal was completed. Awesome customer service!! read more

went ahead & ordered through the drive thru. Ordered a sausage breakfast on a bun combo with fries and pancake platter. The sausage bob didnt come with cheese and was cold along with fries which looked old. pancakes were dead cold not even warm. you think you wait in drive thru thinking your food is going to be fresh think again. As packed as the drive thru gets yall should also consider opening both lanes. Used to be good place to eat when they first opened, not so much anymore. read more

The drive time is absolutely ABYSMAL. I arrived in the drive thru at 12:18 I did not leave that place until 1:20. There is 0 since of urgency. The workers are just in there moving at a leisurely pace CONSTANTLY. Does this place even have a manager?? I would be genuinely humiliated if I was the owner or GM. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. I could've gone into longhorns steakhouse, been seated, served, and out the door in half the time it takes to get a meal here. I don't see how this place is still open for business. This absolute rudest people I've ever talked to . Simply ordered a cheese burger ketchup only and they absolutely could not understand that and were awfully rude about it. The line is super long and it's overall not worth the money. They didn't give us the right condiments after repeating 3 times. Super pissed off at the terrible service. And even though the bigger, better burgers cost a quarter apiece - a price unheard of at the time - Whataburger was an instant success. A legend was born.
