A party of 30-35 people all still in full wedding attire flooded in around the same time, and the staff handled everything with incredible grace and expertise. Not a single order was messed up, and every guest was taken care of beautifully. The team that night Noel, Bella, Natalie, Sadie, and Brigs was outstanding. They truly felt like a local extension of our family. Beyond serving delicious tacos and making sure everyone was happy, they went above and beyond: signing our wedding cards with the sweetest, most thoughtful notes, and even snapping photos of the wedding party to capture those special moments. It was truly phenomenal and made the night even more memorable. We've loved Taco Mama for years and have never had a bad experience here. If there's ever been the tiniest issue (which is rare), the managers and team are immaculately on point in rectifying it right away. Brigs and the other managers worked out all the logistics with us ahead of time, making the whole planning process smooth and stress-free. If you're looking for fresh, tasty food in a fun atmosphere or need a spot that can handle a big group like a wedding party with warmth and professionalism Taco Mama Daphne is the place. We can't recommend them enough! Thank you to the entire team for making our special night unforgettable.

I go from zero to hangry--like, starving to death hangry--in minutes flat. I was innocently browsing TJ Maxx, hunting for a deal, when the hunger tsunami hit. I'm talking shaky hands, stomach growling louder than a lawnmower. Then, like a greasy beacon of hope, I spotted Five Guys across the way. I stumbled in, ordered the small hamburger--no cheese, 'cause dairy and I don't vibe--and loaded it with ALL the veggies, including those glorious sautéed onions. Growing up in California, I thought In-N-Out was the holy grail of fast food burgers. I was braced for disappointment, ready to sigh dramatically and settle for "meh." OH BOY, WAS I WRONG. For like seven bucks, this burger was PERFECTION. We're talking 500 calories of pure bliss that hit the spot so hard I nearly cried. It was like the burger gods descended and said, "You're welcome." The only problem? I'm pretty sure they sprinkle crack in the patties or something, because I was back there the next day like a junkie needing a fix. Five Guys, you've ruined me, and I'm not even mad about it. 10/10, would starve again just to eat here.

That chance was when I took the day and decided to drive to Daphne. It was around lunch time and Champy's was busy. I went to the register and the woman there gave me a menu. I decided to sit at the bar. There wasn't a lot of deciding I needed to do with the menu. I knew I wanted fried chicken and this was a fried chicken restaurant. I got the 2 piece with baked beans and potato salad. From what I can tell the restaurant had a very friendly environment. The waitstaff brought me my food in a very timely fashion. I tasted my side dishes first and they were really good. I remember the baked beans being very hot temperature wise. The chicken was what I made the trip for and I wasn't disappointed. The chicken was so crunchy and the batter they made it with had a little kick to it. It wasn't spicy but it had a noticeable flavor. I enjoyed every bit of it. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
